Slick look but poor fit

It's perpetually unclipped or raised off/away from my laptop on one side. When I open my laptop, it pulls away even more. Bummer. Didn't want to go through the trouble of returning/exchanging so I am stuck with it. I just hope the clip doesn't scratch at my laptop on that side...
