The Insignia SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) memory card worked well with my Canon EOS R100 Camera. I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t be compatible with my camera, but luckily, there were no problems. I was able to take many photos and record a fun video of my family. The pictures and video looked great, and the SD card did its job well. The 128GB of storage is enough for many pictures and lengthy videos. I can confidently say that the Memory card’s performance does not disappoint. My laptop lacks an SD card slot, but I was able to access its storage by using an SD Card reader adapter, which worked wonderfully. The only minor downside to this product is that it's not as versatile as a microSD card with an adapter. This memory card can’t be used with the Nintendo Switch, GoPro cameras, most drones, and other popular electronics. Therefore, if you are looking for a memory card that includes both the adapter and the microSD card, then this won’t be for you. But other than that, this product is compatible with cameras, some laptops, and all SD card reader adapters. Compared to my other memory cards I have for my camera, the quality of this Insignia SDXC memory card is equally as exceptional!

I can’t remember the last time I bought a memory card for my handheld camera, but it’s been probably at least 5 years (since I got my Sony A6400). Well, I got the change to try this memory card from Insignia, and I have noticed it’s definitely faster than my old memory card. It’s probably weird to get a little excited about a memory card, but I like to take pictures of stars at night, and these kinds of pictures do take some time processing, and so any little thing to make the process faster is appreciated. All in all, the quality of the card feels durable, and it does give me confidence that I won’t be losing any pictures that I take when I am outdoors. Fortunately, my computer also has an SD slot and so exporting the pictures with the memory card is fast and easy. This past weekend, I brough my camera with my new Insignia memory card and caught some nice pictures of the stars. Personally, when you're out in the dark and miles from home, the last thing I want to worry about is whether your memory card is going to fail or corrupt the photos. I don’t think I will have any issues with this card. The 128GB capacity is also a sweet spot for me. It provides plenty of room for thousands of photos or videos without having to worry about getting full. Overall, I am enjoying the memory card and it’s meeting my needs. It’s not the famous name we all know in photography, but if you're looking for a dependable SD card for photography, travel, or everyday use, I would definitely recommend giving this one a look.

Given how expensive storage media has become, it's tempting to select a card that is not from the well-known major brands, as sometimes such cards are a little less expensive. The issue is that not all of those are reliable. In my experience has been a reliable brand in most products I have acquired in with that brand, so seeing a memory card from Insignia made me happy. As memory cards go, it looks and feels as you would expect. I like using cards like this over a USB flash drive because they are slim and easy to move around. They are also a great way to expand the storage on a device that has limited storage (ahem...MacBooks). Of course, they are also required in certain mobile devices, such as a GoPro or some digital cameras. Still have an old 3DS? Those use these SD cards too. Out of the package, this card is formatted as EXFAT. If you don't know what that means, that's ok. All that you need to know is that you can connect it to a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer and each will be able to read and write to the card immediately. No special formatting required. The speeds are good. I was able to copy a 1.3 GB file from my Mac Mini to the card in about 7 seconds. I'm not the best judge, but I used the card in a GoPro camera my friend has and the camera did not seem to be held back by the memory card at all. Of course, time and use is required to gauge how good one of these cards is over the long term, but I certainly don't think this card is any less reliable than a major brand, and provided you don't need top speeds, the Insignia card is a great way to get a memory card without paying top dollar.

I have been looking for a new high-speed, value priced, memory card for my Canon R50 and Nikon D850 cameras. This memory card by Insignia really fills that spot at my price point. I am a content creator who uses my cameras to create short videos and still photos. I am using this memory card mainly for videos with my Canon R50. But, I can equally use it in my Nikon camera for still photos. The 128GB size works out well, because I can get about 2,635 photos (24MP in Raw format) or 1 hour of 4K video on this card. Once formatted in the camera, there is some loss in capacity, which is normal with any memory card. So far I have used this memory card 3 different times with both still photos and 4K video. The response time from my cameras have been quick and I didn't experience any lag or wait when my camera had to stop at write to the memory card, even when continuous shooting at roughly 12 fps. In addition, I didn't experience any image or video quality problems with the images saved on my memory card. Equally, copying the files from the memory card to my laptop PC were just as quick. I have been very pleased with the performance of this memory card and the price point makes this an excellent value. I would highly recommend this memory card for photo and/or video use in a DSLR.

Insignia™ - 128GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card, Read Speed Up to 200MB/s The Insignia™ 128GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card is an in-house brand (White box) budget line of memory cards. This particular one was labeled as being manufactured in Taiwan. The card has reasonable specs with 128 GB capacity. Read speeds up to 200 MB/s and write speeds up to 70 MB/s. Its speed class is C-10, ultra high speed class is U3 and Video speed class is V30. It comes with a 1-year warranty. While testing the device, I formatted it in the device I was going to use it on. I tested this card for 5 days I used the SDXC memory card in a DSLR camera and a remote Wi-Fi security camera. I didn’t have any problems in either device, and they performed as expected. They formatted quickly, and the pictures and video files transferred at a reasonable rate to other media. I didn’t have any issues or failures. As for long-term reliability, there is no way to test it within this period. I am kind of a snob when it comes to buying and using memory cards for security cameras or for taking pictures with my DSLR camera. I have had other brands of budget cards fail in a matter of months of use, so I would make sure that reviews are consistent on longevity. The cards reportedly use standard components, with NAND from major makers and a Taiwanese controller and assembly. If you are okay with these conditions and have cloud backup for these devices, this seems like a nice budget memory card for your use.

This Insignia 128 GB SDXC Memory card is designed especially for larger memory demands such as taking video with mirrorless cameras like my Sony a6500. The SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity) format has been around for a long time, but prices have come down significantly. This 128GB capacity memory card lands in the middle of the SDXC range which starts at 64GB and goes to 1 TB. When I inserted it into my Sony a6500, the control panel told me I had capacity for 3200 RAW files - that's quite a bit for anyone doing digital photography in this most memory-consuming format. The card formatted very quickly and, as I started taking photographs and reviewing them in the viewfinder, I could tell there was a significant improvement in transfer speeds from my usual SDHC memory cards. This Insignia card is rated a C10 Class which means 10MB/s. It is also rated Ultra-High Speed at U3 for up to 624MB/s which makes for better video recording. If you have an older device, be aware that this card uses the exFAT file system and that may not be compatible with your device. I had no problems with my Sony camera which is a 2016 model. All in all, it is a memory card and it does what memory cards are supposed to do.

I can’t tell you how many SD cards that I’ve purchased and where they all are because when I need one, I need it exactly And it’s a certain And type that I need to get the job or project done so this particular SD card was available and the brand is tried and true. Insignia has a nice variety of product and this one is included I’ve never had any issues with them so I figured I would reinvest. 128 gigs isn’t huge, but it is also reliable and I get what I need and instantly reset it and reuse it. The plastic fills a little cheap. Again, I haven’t had any issues. I’m able to use it in the devices that accepts these types of SD cards. It also has a locking device. I make sure to put it in a small sleeve or a case so that I don’t scratch up the gold parts on the back. Overall, this is a no-brainer if you need 128 gigs of memory on an SD card but make sure again your device is compatible otherwise you will not be able to use it. It won’t be recognizable and you’ll be out of luck. So far so good no complaints.

The read/write speeds are snappy. Even though the card is rated for 1/10th the speed of my Mac Studio's SSD, large files copy quickly. 128GB portable storage is perfect for my needs. I'm optimistic that it'll hold up to wear and tear unlike some cheaper flash drives that stop working after a few uses. Up until now I had been using a microSD with an adapter so it's nice to have the full-size SD for my Mac and I can move the microSD back to my Switch. The card doesn't include a case, so if you're using multiple, then have your own card holder ready or purchase one so you don't scuff up the contacts. It's formatted as exFat out of the box, so you can swap it between Mac and Windows without needing to reformat the card. exFat removes the file size limitaion of the old Fat32 format. The card shows 125gb usable storage and disk utility doesn't show what's taking up the missing 3gb though-- I'll check Windows to see if there's preinstalled software. Overall, this is a great buy if you need extra storage.

A great memory card with fast read and write speed! I ordered this to go in an older digital camera that I had in the closet and was wanting to put back into use again. It arrived in the typical package that most SD cards come in. After removing it from the package and finding an adapter to connect it to my pc, I checked how it was formatted and it comes as EXFAT. I did run a test on it to make sure that the size was correct and not a fake one. Once formatted, it does lose some capacity, but that happens with any memory, hard drive, etc. So that means you can use it in almost any pc, mac, camera, etc. without issues. The read and write speed tests were surprisingly fast. I then placed this card in my old digital camera and it recognized the card without any issues. This size is the biggest that my camera will recognize, and it took almost a thousand pictures without any problems. I then took some videos with the camera and they turned out fine. This a great priced, quality SD card that worked without any issues in my camera, pc, and laptop. Overall, it does the job very well and is a quality SD card.

I am really surprised and pleased with the performance of this Insignia SD Card. I have 2 devices that are really picky while playing videos with SD Cards and Micro SD Cards. My Pioneer Radio that has the capability to play audio and video multimedia files, and my newer smart TV as well. On both of them I am a fan on using the mp4 playback capability, to play my movies and music videos. So for long trips I have my Pioneer Car Radio playing my mp4 movies to keep my family entertained while traveling, however the only SD Card brand that didn't show any playback issues or lags, was SANDISK of all the other brands I tried, and this happened for both, my Pioneer Radio and Smart TV. But this Insignia 128MB Sd Card was a revelation. Starting with the copy of the MP4 files from my PC to the Insignia SD Card, the transfer was superfast, and then I realized that I wont have any performance issues playing my movies and videos and certainly thats how it was. My Pioneer radio has no problems or lags while playing videos from this Insignia SD Card, neither my TV. Considering the cost of the Sandisk brand, this insignia SD Card is by far super affordable and even faster performance, at speeds of 200MB/s its a great deal. This SD Card can easily deliver this high speed and it is noticeable on performance results. Insignia has proved to be a reliable brand and a tough competitor with affordable products.

I was happy to get a "full size" memory card for my Nikon digital SLR camera. Seems like they are being replaced by micro-SD cards where you need to use an adapter for devices with the full SD format size. My camera seems to be fussy about using those adapters so this is good to have. This card is also very competitively priced compared to other brands of SD cards. So far it's performance has been perfect. It's capable of much faster read/write speeds than my camera can take advantage of, but maybe I'll get a new camera or other device in the future that will be more capable. I tried it out with my laptop computer and copying large files (7 GB+) Windows says it is copying at 80 MB/sec which is faster that the 70 MB/sec it is rated at. And it feels really fast, too. Overall a great value.

Insignia 128GB SDXC Getting it out the box was a bit annoying if you don't have fingernails (and don't want to damage anything just in case) grab scissors and cut around if you want to be easiet. Storage is becoming expensive even in the SD card world it seems but Insignia eing a budget option tends to perform as you'd expext while staying reliable. While SD cards in this size tend to be best for cameras I did use it the majority of the time on my PC and was impressed with how much faster it is to move files around versus using a traditional USB stick. Being V30 this card will also stay futurerpoof for some time for sure. There was pretty much no formatting or special instructions required when plugged into a Windows 11 device and it worked perfectly with an adapter (as not all PCs might have a SD card slot) All in all this isn't the most exciting review but I can definitely recommend this SD card. Best Buy is usually stocked with Insignia so you should have no problem finding it.

I use a lot of SD cards on my ranch, where we have trail cams in various places to monitor wildlife such as foxes, pumas, opossums and coyotes. These cameras take both stills and videos, so we need a lot of capacity for image storage! When I saw that Insignia was branding SD cards, I was delighted because I knew it would be a quality product at a lower price point. I eagerly formatted the SD card and slapped it into one of my trail cams and I was not disappointed. That night there was a coyote gathering, skunks, rabbits and deer. The SC card performed flawlessly in saving the pictures and videos. When I swapped out the the cards, the Insignia SC card slid easily into my computer shot and presented some wonderful pics. The storage size of 128 GB is really sufficient for my trail cams, even when the wind is blowing and a stray moving branch causes the camera to take pic after pic. Finally, like all great SC cards, the Insignia 128 GB Memory Card has a locking switch to prevent accidental erasure of your info!

After using the Insignia 128GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card in my Sony A6500 for about a couple weeks, I'm happy with the purchase. It installed without any issues, has been completely reliable so far, and offers plenty of storage for both photography and occasional 4K video recording. The read speed is genuinely decent and makes transferring files quick and convenient. The write speed isn't the best, but it's more than sufficient for everyday photography and casual video use. Unless you're shooting professionally and constantly pushing your camera's buffer to its limits, I think most people will find the performance perfectly acceptable. Considering the price, I honestly think this memory card offers excellent value. It delivers dependable performance where it matters most and has exceeded my expectations for a store-brand product. If you're looking for an affordable SD card for a mirrorless camera like the Sony A6500, or simply need reliable storage without paying premium-brand prices, I'd have no problem recommending this one.

Insignia has stepped into the memory card market with their SDXC memory cards. The 128GB SDXC card advertises a read speed of 200MB/s and a write speed of 70MB/s. The write speed is ok for most cameras. I was getting write burst speeds of up to 153MB/s, but sustained speed was 151MB/s. The will still work well for video in most cameras. Read speeds are fine. I was getting 161MB/s sustained read speeds. My concern with SDXC cards in general is the sustained write speeds for my video cameras. I’m a little less concerned of that with my photo cameras. The 151MB/s write speeds will work well for most video and photo uses. Like with most SD cards, this one has a write block switch on it. It works, but the label has it the direction to move the switch for write block backwards. Not a big deal, but hopefully Insignia has corrected that on the label. It wouldn’t be good for someone to think they have locked it or write blocked it when they have not, but someone would quickly notice it if their label, like mine, indicated the opposite direction for the switch than what it should be. I don’t have many complaints about the card. Even though I didn’t get the 200MB/s read speed, I still was able to get a reasonable read speed. The write speeds were much higher than advertised which surprised me. I ran tests using 2GB files and multiple tests were ran using 12GB files. I performed numerous tests when testing burst write and read speeds as well as numerous tests for sustained read and write speeds. I live in the south where it can get to over 100F during the summer, so time will tell if I end up seeing any write errors on very hot days. Overall, I’m surprised with the card. I can say that it didn’t reach the read speeds I was expecting, but it blew past the write speeds that I expected. As my main concern with SD cards are the write speeds, I’m happy with the write speed performance. If you are looking for an SDXC card, then perhaps give the Insignia 128GB SDXC memory card a try.

In this day and time, there are so many choices when it comes to SD cards. You can honestly spend as much as you want to for the "premium" branded SD cards. That is where I am so glad that Insignia has finally put out a product in the SD card market. This Insignia 128GB Memory Card is perfect for all of my labor intensive video needs. I have a very nice mirrorless 4k camera and it handles all of my video footage like a champ. In terms of read and write speed, it stacks up just as good against the other brands I have used in the past. It is advertised as having a maximum read speed of 200MB/s and a maximum write speed of 70MB/s. In putting this card in my mirrorless camera, I had no issues to write about. Read and write speeds were perfect. The card also has the standard "lock" switch on the side, just like pretty much all other SD cards. It is also advertised as being rugged and durable. Insignia says this thing can resist water penetration, shock, magnets, and even X rays! With all those features at a price you can actually afford, what are you waiting for?

When I buy memory cards, Insignia is not a brand that comes to mind or is my first choice. However, this 128GB SDXC memory card has become my go to memory card for my camera because of its features. The feature that got me excited is the V30. V30 indicates that the SDXC memory card has a minimum write speed of 30MB/s, making this suitable for recording high-resolution video, such as 4K. This speed also ensures smooth performance for both video recording and high-quality photography. Although I dunno do video on my camera, I mainly do high quality pictures so I benefit from V30 when I am moving files from the camera into my laptop. I would also recommend this to people who wants to use it for other applications and not just a camera because I think this card can fit into any SD slot on a laptop and be used as extra storage too. I tested this since I have an SD slot on my laptop. Overall, I have come to trust Insignia as a brand and will buy more memory cards made by Insignia in the future.
