I LOVE THIS CHAIR!

I LOVE THIS CHAIR! The first thing to know is that the chair is heavy, and the width of the box it ships in is 35 inches wide. You WILL need to have the delivery guys take it out of its box outside and then bring it to where you need it. (Our delivery guys were ROCK STARS.) I’ve used this chair every day since it was delivered and still haven’t worked through all the features! It has several programmed types of massages and aspects of those programs can be customized; you can increase or decrease the intensity. The chair padding is comfortable. It uses air compartments to provide compression to your arms and legs but your neck, back, glutes and feet get roller action – the rollers can be very powerful so no worries there! The chair features a wired remote control to operate the unit but also has some additional controls on the right arm of the chair which was a good design and safety feature. The chair has Bluetooth speakers at the top left and right, which were easy to pair with my phone, and I thought they sounded great! Today, I just discovered the heat option, which is not adjustable but provides a lovely, gentle warming during a massage. The only aspect of the chair that could be a con is that the outside plastic shell of the chair is rather thin, so be careful when you are shoving/moving the chair as it will crack. The unit has rollers on the back side of the base, so you need to tilt the chair back to move it efficiently. The chair only has a 1 year warranty which I hope I don’t need to use and wish was longer or extendable since I really LOVE THIS CHAIR.
I was very lucky to purchase this unit while it was on sale before Christmas. We drove to a location to see it, and it only took 5 seconds for me to decide it was perfect for me! If you have the chance to get it on sale, DO IT - IT IS WAY WORTH IT on sale; to invest any more the item really would need to have a longer warranty. I know most people would prefer to have a massage from a massage therapist, but this unit will get the job done by providing bodywork to relax muscles and promote blood flow. It was affordable, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it! Did I tell you that I LOVE THIS CHAIR? Thank you, BestBuy! <3

I have a lot of skepticism when it comes to massage chairs. I’ve sat in many and most are meh, at best. This chair is by far the most effective that I’ve come across, and thus earned my 5 star rating.
I decided to look into buying one for my wife when I saw the physician’s had one in their lounge and all the doctors said they loved it. My wife works hard and deserves a chair she can have peace at the end of a long day. (She passed out using the chair the first time she used it lol). It’s had daily use since we bought it and I expect that trend to continue.
The chair is heavy and bulky so make sure you have a place that’s easy to place it. With the help of my son and wife, we managed to somehow get it to the upstairs bedroom. Once there, attaching the foot/calf massage piece was easy.
The programs take a bit to figure out. I suppose reading the manual would have made it easier, but we wanted to wait no more and jumped right in.
The chair uses compressed air to massage your arms, shoulders, calves and tops of your feet. Kinda feels like a big hug on your whole body. It’s ok but not the best seller for this chair. The foot massage for the bottom of your feet is great and hits the spot after standing all day. The back, neck/shoulder, butt and hamstring massage is where this chair stands out. You have a choice of massage types in the handheld controller, from rolling, kneading to pulsing or a combination of these. There is a protective cover for the back that if you flip it off (it’s attached at the top, not at the bottom) to expose yourself to more direct contact, it gives a better neck/shoulder massage. It also makes the low back massage more intense, which I love. The hamstring massage portion could put you to sleep as it’s very soothing. The surprise attraction, though, is from the butt massage and it will almost assuredly give you a surprise at first use. After that, it does a really great job of loosening up one of the biggest muscles in your body.
The leg rest itself adjusts to the individual in the chair so your leg bend is neutral. The chair also “measures” you up to get the best individual experience from this chair. The chair tilts and places you in a zero gravity, ready for takeoff position to enhance your relaxation.
Oh, almost forgot. This chair comes with a speaker system for you to add on relaxing music or a podcast while you drift off. I haven’t used that feature yet but the speakers are on either side of your head to easily drown out the world.
With the big price reduction for early Black Friday, this chair is definitely worth the price.

How to Trim the Width to Fit a 30 inch doorway

This massage chair is great. That's all I need to say about that. Now let's talk about how to get the chair through a standard 30 inch interior doorway. My daughter's 18 y/o boyfriend and I spent about an hour disassembling the parts necessary to adjust the width from 32.5 inches to 29 inches and reassembling the chair inside a bedroom. We followed the directions in the top review and we were successful. The only tool we needed was a screwdriver. I will edit the directions from the other review as follows:
Here's how:
1. Start with the footrest removed -- or just tell the delivery guys to not install the footrest. It's simple to do later.
2. Remove the rear cover (screws).
3. Disconnect the right side electrical connector and 2 air lines by hand. Some were challenging to twist off, so the brief use of pliers may be helpful. Repeat for left side (there is a 3rd electrical connector up high on the left).
4. Remove the horizontal silver plastic trim on both sides. I was able to snap them off pretty easily with my hands. Try to wiggle both the front and rear of the trim at the same time. I didn't need a pry tool.
5. Start removing all of the screws you can now see on both sides that were under the trim pieces.
6. Next remove the 2 larger screws at the front of the chair near where the footrest will be. At the front of each side near where the footrest.
7. Work with your other person to lift both sides of the large side panels. It helps to lift up the front end first and then wiggle around the back end until it detaches. No force needed, just wiggle it until you get it.
8. You're done - move the chair on wheels to your intended location.
9. Repeat these steps in reverse to reassemble everything. Then install the footrest using the official directions. Plug in the electric wire in the back at the bottom of the chair, flip the power switch on next to it, and hit the power button on your chair.
If I can do it, you can do it.
The disassembly process took us about 40 minutes and the assembly process took us about 20 minutes.

I got this massage chair on sale for $1200 during the holidays, and it's comparable to models I tried at a convention that were priced over $9000. The chair is 32 inches wide, so it won't fit through a standard door frame. However, two other reviewers shared a simple workaround, and after about 30 minutes of disassembling the side panels, I was able to get it through my bedroom door. For the price, you get more than 20 different massage options, and the Bluetooth speaker is a nice added bonus. If you're looking for an excellent value on a high-quality massager, this is definitely a must-buy.

Love this chair. After checking out several of these in the "furniture" stores I'm really happy I went with this one. It performs just as well (even better than some) but at more than half the cost. Trick is waiting till Best Buy has their sale on them. I paid $2500 for it and it's the best $2500 I've spent.
Some extra info about the chair that I didn't see when looking at it online. It has more message locations than I expected. It messages:
- Feet with rollers at the bottom of your feet
- Calf with roller behind calf, air bladders on the outside of your calf and a pad that moves on the inside of your calf
- Arms are done with air bladders and a piece that the air force pushes the palm of your hand into.
shoulders with air bladders
- and of course your neck, back and even butt. This has the rollers that move in and out, side to side and even vibrate too.
- got 3 heat settings as well
I was surprised by how much the leg piece actually does and how well the air bladders message your body.

Beware The Chair! :p

This was purchased as a gift for my wife when it went on sale at a discounted price. We've had it for almost two months and she has used it almost every night and she tremendously enjoys it. "The Chair" is now part of her "destress from the day" routine. Like the saying goes, "Happy wife, happy life" so thank you for making such a great product!
FYI...Make sure you have enough space for it to be maneuvered when you are setting it up. As others mentioned this chair is big and bulky.
PROS
• Fits her height (5'4").
• Easy to assemble. There was one big piece (the lower leg attachments) that connected easily to the main chair. Then, you plug in the remote hand controller, the power cable, and attach the Velcro pocket holder, and bam, you're up and running.
• Includes a holder for the remote hand controller (HC).
• USB charger works (I've had chairs wherein the charger feature did not work).
• The knob control (aka armrest control) is cool. I'm glad it and the associated buttons are backlit.
• Zero-G setting - where have you been all my life!? I want this setting in my car seat, bed, kitchen chair, work chair, etc. Love it!
• The body scan really does adjust for different heights (i.e., it's not gimmicky). Different family members tried it and most of the time the height adjustment was spot-on.
• I like that the HC still gives you the option to adjust on the fly for height purposes before the massage begins. (You can make height adjustments during the massage too.)
• I enjoy the variety of massages made available and the ability to customize and save settings. I did not know that many types of massage techniques existed. My wife has her favorites saved and now it's a matter of how long can she stay awake once the massage starts lol.
• I tested the BT connection and the sound quality was better than I expected.
CONS
• I cannot insert my phone into the phone cubby hole unless I take my phone case off (Samsung Note 8). Same goes for my wife's phone (iPhone 15 Plus). (Taking a breath and getting on my soap box). It's 2024. The "phablet," i.e. a large phone, has been in society for 10+ years now and is part of the norm. Having a phone with a cover has been part of the norm for even longer. Designing a cubby hole that won't hold a Note or Plus phone unless the phone cover is removed doesn't make sense to me. I'd rather not have the cubby than have it since it can't serve its purpose. I know the cubby can hold other things, like my remote control for my TV. But if it were designed to hold the remote control for my TV, then there would be no need to have a USB charger port. Overall, I think it's a flaw in design. (Off my soap box now.)
• A dedicated button on the HC for heat control would be really appreciated. If there was not one on the armrest control, then I would put this as a suggestion and not a con. But there's a matching button on the HC for every button for the armrest control except for the heat control. That's a design flaw imo.
• Something has to be done about the resting position of the neck in general during the massage. The backrest rollers gingerly pushes your upper back/neck forward causing the head to fall backward and this eventually made may neck uncomfortable. My wife and I now use a neck pillow to compensate for this discomfort when using The Chair.
NOT REALLY A CON...but worth mentioning...
• The chair was maybe not designed for my height (6'1") - even w/height adjustment features, I had to slightly slouch so the rollers can get to the back of my neck. I read that other reviewers my height or taller didn't have this concern so maybe it's me??
• My shoulders don't really fit comfortably into the shoulder area. I ended up turning off the shoulder massage feature. (My wife enjoys the shoulder massage.)
ANNOYANCESS...that turn into suggestions/improvements??
• Since the HC is direct-powered, I suggest having a dedicated, backlit button to activate the lights/screen for the HC. I did not like having to press a button to activate the screen and backlight - and accidently changing a setting while doing so.
• I would appreciate if the cable for the hand controller could be a tad longer (maybe 4-7")?
• Create/design a cable track for the HC cable. I was going to use Gaffer's tape to adhere the cable to the side but my wife vetoed it. I personally don't care for loose cables/cords on the floor for objects that are in place long-term.
• Can the backrest be a few inches taller? Or, can the track for the massager machinery extend a few inches higher? That way I don't have to slouch (as previously mentioned).
• (Another soap box moment...) The idea and implementation of the armrest controls and HC is great. But if my hands/arms are in the arm openings being massaged, this means I have to remove my hand/arm out of the arm openings if I want to use the HC or armrest controls to make a change. This removal action became annoying to me very fast. I know part of this action was due to me going through a learning curve and trying the different types of massages and thus, changing settings on the fly. Still, it was (and is) annoying. IMO, if I'm getting a massage, I prefer to be as lazy as I possibly can be. I don't even turn the channel on the TV during commercials when I'm using The Chair!! In other words, I don't care to remove my hands/arms from the arm openings to change a setting. My suggestion would be to insert a trackball/button combo within the openings and have a raised screen on the armrest that displays the necessary information. That way a user doesn't have to remove their arm from the arm openings.
WOULD be really cool if...
• A user could add an attachment for a massaging neck pillow, (or redesign the chair) to target the sides of the neck and/or the top of the trapezoid (i.e. the area between the top of the shoulders and side of the neck). I found myself utilizing a handheld massager to reach these areas after I finished using The Chair (ditto for the wife).
• I would like it very much if I can have additional Velcro pocket holders so I can store my phone and/or TV remote control while in The Chair. If there's a way to order those independently, please let me know.
• I favor having more than one USB port --> two USB-A ports, or, one USB-A and one USB-C should be the minimum.
• I wanted to attach LED lights on the side panels for visual effects but my wife vetoed it. She prefers the all-black look. BUT, this is 2024. Everything has LED lights now. I'd like to have the option to purchase side panels that have LED lights in it.
• I placed a heated blanket over me and it made the massage experience better. Maybe add a heating element for neck, arms, rump, and leg areas? Just a thought.
SOMETHING I have not tried yet...
...is to have a massage without the backrest cover on. As mentioned by others, the backrest cover can be removed. This puts your body into more direct contact with the rollers and can create a more intense massage. I'll eventually try it.
Note - the Value rating is for the discounted price at the time of purchase.

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review of the Insignia™ 3D Zero Gravity Full Body Massage Chair! We're delighted to hear that your wife enjoys it as part of her daily routine and that it has become a valuable addition to her relaxation time.
We appreciate your feedback on both the pros and cons of the chair. We're sorry to hear about the issues with the phone cubby hole and the neck support during the massage. Your suggestions for improvements, such as a dedicated heat control button and a longer cable for the hand controller, are very valuable to us. We'll certainly pass these along to our design team for consideration in future models.
For the neck support issue, using a neck pillow as you mentioned is a great workaround. If you need further assistance or have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team. We're here to help and ensure you have the best experience possible.

My husband surprised me by helping me to get this amazing chair. After a long day on my feet my entire body hurts. I just get in the chair set it to relax and the stress just melts away. If you just want to use a recliner its great for that as well. Could use a little more cushion when not in massage mode but cheap kitchen chair cushions work great. Bluetooth has great sound and easy to connect too. Would highly recommend this chair to family, friends or anyone in the market for market for a massage chair like this.

Can't beat the price and features, I'm waiting to see if the price goes back up from the killer $1600 Black Friday price to the full $4000. For the full price I would not buy this, due to the low 1 year warranty and no way to buy an extended one at BB for this item. If it truly is based on the (Osaki) Titan Pro Acro 3D, well the standard Osaki warranty is 3 years and extensions are reasonably priced by them. I'm not sure if BB is just risk averse or what, its a bit of a gamble for us customers on a complicated electro-mechanical device like this.
Ok the width issue... Specs say the unboxed chair alone is 32.7" and I would say this is accurate. No way it will fit through standard 30" doors (or 29.5" with trim inside jamb).
Even with the $99 Delivery and Insignia Assembly service (free when I bought the chair), the guys were helpful but said they were not allowed to disassemble the chair. So I spent a few hours doing it all and getting it inside myself. You basically have to take off the left and right lower sides, then the upper rear portion stays on and becomes right at 29" wide!
The trick is to know that the horizontal silver plastic trim is hiding the bulk of the screws holding each side panel on. You carefully pop it off with plastic trim pry tools like on a modern car trim.
It seems crazy to have to do it but I was expecting this.
If you are handy it's not that bad just be careful, and don't blame me for issues, BB left us in a jam!
Here's how:
1. Remove the REAR cover.
2. Disconnect the right side electrical connector and 2 air lines carefully. Repeat for left side (there is an extra electrical connector up high).
3. Remove horizontal silver plastic trim, roughly shoulder height, on L and R sides: Starting at rear, use a plastic automotive pry tool (or similar) and pry off the silver trim carefully. Pry at the front too, don't pull the rear out too far to not risk bending the tabs at the front end.
4. With the trim removed you will see a lot of phillips screws. Remove just the smaller ones around the edge and 2 in the middle. I think 8 total. Repeat for both L and R sides.
5. At the front of each side near the footrest remove the 2 big phillips screws.
6. Lift up the front of each side panel and then the rear simply drops down (it has a post secured in a slot). Just make sure you have the air and electronics disconnected in step 2 and nothing else should restrict it.
Thats it. I hope this helps someone! See my pics.
p.s. Osaki now has 29" wide massage chairs too!!

I've had this chair for almost a week. So far, it has been wonderful. There are so many tweaks in the settings that I have yet to discover everything that it can do. Some of the preset massages are pretty good. The goodnight one is my favorite. Under the manual massages is where you'll discover everything this chair can do. I've not gotten through many as I choose one and then like too much to try something else. Anyway, I've wanted one of these chairs for years and this one has not disappointed. I chose this one because Best Buy is a great store, and Insignia, their in-house brand; has never let me down. For the price I think it is an excellent value.

The build is solid and sleek, and it's surprisingly quiet compared to other chairs I've tried. Set up was a breeze, and it's comfortable for people of all sizes. (Im 5’3 my husband is 6’1) Worth every penny, this has truly become my go-to for relaxation. Highly recommend!

First and foremost, before I praise how great this chair feels, make sure you look at the dimensions to be sure you can fit it where you want it. I didn’t and now the chair is in a room I didn’t plan for (check my photo).
That being said, it’s a great product. I’ve only had it a short time, so I hope it continues to work as well as it currently does. I haven’t used all of the preset massage functions. I haven’t found one that uses the heat on the back rollers, yet. It’s easy to turn on the heat though. All of the customizable functions are easy to use.
My only complaint is the chair doesn’t go back to its basic sitting position when you’re done. You have to hold the button to get it back to normal upright position. I haven’t read through all of the manual, though. It’s possible I missed something.
The Bluetooth is easy to set up and the speakers sound good. The phone holder is not wide enough for my phone (iPhone 13 Max Pro).
All in all , I’d recommend it to anyone considering buying one (as long as it fits).

My husband brought me this for Christmas and this may be the best purchase ever made. Well worth the money that he paid. It has multiple settings, heat, and it even does your feet. The remote allows you to turn settings off like if you wouldn’t want it to do your arms or your legs so it’s nice that it’s customizable. I would absolutely purchase it again.
