    Associate recommended item would be needed for connecting to my tv however when geek squad came to install tv was told to return as was not needed to do install but an HDMI was needed but not included in the dvd/cd player for connection to tv.

    Bought this because none of the DVI to HDMI adapters (both active and passive) were working with a 1650 NVidia card. This surprisingly worked.
