Great charging cable. Plugged it into an existing charging block I already owned, which previously had a cable that charged my phone very slowly. I wanted to replace it in hopes the charging would be faster. This charging cable worked wonders! My phone charges much faster now, and thanks to the angled connector I'm not having to replace it way too soon.
Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that our charging cable has significantly improved your phone's charging speed and that the angled connector is helping to extend its lifespan. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your support. Keith | Insignia Support

Great Durable 7' USB-C Cable

Great Durable USB-C cable
Insignia has made available their new 7' USB-C-to-USB-C cable. The box includes the cable and comes with a manufacturer's 1-year warranty.
PROS:
-----------
* Feels durable, good quality, white/gray braid, and shielded to help prevent interference.
* Cable includes a rubber cinching strap with multiple holes for tying up or cable management with other cables. It is permanently attached to the cable but can slide up and down the cable, so it can be placed anywhere along the cable. It can be removed; however, it would have to be cut off which is permanent. The strap can still be used but would not be permanently attached to the cable after cut off.
* 7' length is great when you have distance to cover from a desktop to another peripheral. This may eliminate the need for a female-female USB-C junction/adapter.
* The 90-degree bend on one end is great for many instances. And with USB-C being able to be plugged in at either direction, the user should be able to have the cable enter the port from the best left/right direction.
* Handles up to 60W Power Delivery
CONS:
-----------
There is nothing wrong with this cable. It just does its job.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS:
-----------
* Make a note that you don't have an option to make the 90-degree end straight. There's a chance the L-joint could block other points as shown by my picture. This is how I prefer it so I don't have to have the cable sticking straight up on my desktop. The audio ports that this cable is covering up is not used. Just make sure you plan ahead so you know which end will use the 90-degree side.
CONCLUSION:
=====================
If you want a good, basic, solid USB-C cable that's longer than your normal cable, this is a great option at 7 feet. Works with 60W PD devices, so for most applications, this will be a great solution, especially with one end being at 90-degrees. Thanks for making this cable/length/features available, Insignia!
Thank you, BADog! We appreciate your detailed review of the Insignia™ 7' USB-C to Right-Angle USB-C Braided Charging Cable. We're glad you find it durable, appreciate the 90-degree bend, and find it a great option for longer connections. Nice cable

While the box doesn’t list any specifications or USB certification logos, the online product listing says it supports 60W PD and it appears to support fast data transfers. It’s a nice braided longer cable at a touch over 2 meters (7 feet) and one of the two USB-C ends is a right-angle for a neater setup. There’s also a pre-attached rubber cable tie to manage unused length or keep it tidy when not being used at all.
Highlights:
* Seems to support fast charging (online listing says 60W PD).
* Seems to support fast data transfers.
* Pliable and attractive braided cable.
* Small over-molding at each end.
* One end is a right-angle connector.
* Useful rubber cable tie.
Room for Improvement:
* The box does not list any specifications for speed or power delivery support.
* The box does not include any USB certification logos.
What can I say about a cable? Chances are, you’ll want to use this cable to charge and/or transfer data for your computer, tablet or phone. Even though there are no specifications listed, it seems to support speedy data transfers and my devices claimed that they were charging quickly when using this cable to connect to a high-power USB adapter.
The overall quality of this cable appears pretty good; with small but sturdy over-mouldings at each end and a flexible cloth braided cable. One end has a right-angle connector that may help keep things tidy and less strained depending on what is connected and where the cable is going.
This is a longer than usual cable at 90 inches/7 feet/2.29 meters so it can easily reach further. There is a reusable rubber cable tie attached that you can use to either neatly bundle it up when not using it at all, or reduce the overall length for tidy shorter cable runs.
While there is no indication of speed or power rating on the product box or the cable itself, the online listing says it supports up to 60W PD charging. To test out the data speeds, I used the cable to transfer files via wire from my Mac to my iPhone 16 Pro Max and the transfer appeared to go quickly as compared to other “fast” cables which did indicate their speed. I also used this cable to charge my Pixel 6a phone with a 65W USB adapter and the phone indicated it was charging quickly.
Given the price listed at the time of writing this review, this cable is not necessarily the best value in that similar cables can be found elsewhere for the same price or less, but overall, this is a really nice cable for the price. My only suggestions are to clearly list the cable’s specifications on the box and online so we know what to expect.
Thank you, gadgeTT, for your comprehensive review of the Insignia™ 7' USB-C to Right-Angle USB-C Braided Charging Cable! We appreciate you highlighting its features like the right-angle connector, braided design, and included cable tie. We'll share your feedback regarding the lack of specifications on the box with the appropriate teams. We appreciate your business! Simple solution to a common problem

I don't know how many times I've come across an issue that this product solves. Dozens of times, both inside and outside the home. Electrical plugs that come straight out, are unbendable, forcing you to make cutouts. shave adapters with a razor, or other potentially unsafe solutions to accommodate a plug that doesn't fit. Either that, or you've used a cable that's just too thick to route around your devices, or worst, so thin that you know it's not going to survive even casual use. Such was the issue I had with several Iphone charging cables that came apart or just stopped working.
This Insignia cable seems just right to purpose. The problem I'm solving with it is simple - the charging cable for my laptop would come out the side of the unit, and since it didn't bend easily, it would reach out 3-4 inches before it would make the bend to go back behind my desk. The Insignia extends out half the amount the previous charging cable did, making for a much neater and simpler solution.
The cable itself is very supple and easy to route whichever direction you need to go with it. The braiding on it is tight, the appearance is somewhat more tech oriented than a simple smooth plastic. I also appreciate the 7 foot length, which gives a little more leeway in the event you need to route it under a desk to a wall outlet. There is a velcro strap attached to neatly wind up any excess cord.
Very happy with this Insignia product, the pricing compared to other major brands is excellent, I'll certainly be looking towards them for future cable purchases.

insignia 7” feet long USB C to USB C is a great cord for charging your devices. the packaging is fairly straightforward, a light weight box and inside nothing fancy but you get a 90 degree USBC cord. having one side to be 90 degrees it gives user a bit more ability to find use this in more complicated area to connect your for. so if you have a plug at the back of a furniture having the 90 degree angle you would definitely will benefit to help you charge without worrying about getting your other USB
CABLE
the cable has been great I get great speed charging my product with it. i’ve tested using from charging my iphone, headset and controller so far no complaints the amount of speed I received charging. the cable is braided is look and feel good in the hand but I can tell that through time this could eventually wear off. it’s not on the same quality like a braided cable you get on the iphone. it also comes with a rubber band that’s attached to help manage the cable when traveling.
Conclusion
The cable look great does not look and feel cheap as well, 7 feet of length is more than enough distance to be your everyday cable to use around the house. i’m glad they added the rubber strap for cable management , great price I will definitely will buy more due to I prefer the 90 degrees angle on the other side of the cable. I recommend this product.

A Quality Charge Cord

The Insignia Insignia 7' USB-C to Right-Angle USB-C Braided Charging Cable is and excellent choice for your charging cable needs. At 7 feet, you have plenty of length to reach a wall outlet and still be able to use your phone, and it comes with a very nice cord wrap to either neatly store the cord when not in use, or store the excess cord you don't need. The right angle comes in handy when watching videos or movies on my phone. It should fit most phones with cases. It fits mine with plenty of room. The cord itself has a very nice braided material making it look like high end cable. The material itself still allows the cord to move and bend freely without being overly stiff. It has just the right balance of stiffness and flexibility. The first time I used this charge cord I swear it clicked into my USB-C port on my phone. It's a very snug fit and has zero play. I'm very impressed with the quality of this cord. I've been using this cord in my truck with my phone and Android Auto without any issues. My last cord would disconnect when going over bumps or adjusting position of the phone. I've even received compliments on how nice the cord looks from passengers in my truck. I would definitely recommend this charge cord.

The Insignia 7 foot USB-C to right angle USB-C braided charging cable in white is just what I was looking for to replace the current one I have which is on its last leg.
I think an angled charging cable should come with all products that we purchase as it would prolong the life of the cable. I’m sure all of us have charging cables that are frayed or damaged because of the angle of the cable or just the positioning of the thing we are just trying to charge. With this cable being right angled this solves all of the strain that is associated with most common problems charging.
The Insignia USB-C cable is angled at 90 degrees , is 7 foot long and braided white/grey for added durability and is shielded. It also comes with an adjustable loop strap to keep your cable neat and organized with is a nice touch that they added. The Insignia USB-C angled charging cable is rated at 60 watts to delivery fast charging when using a USB-C PD charger.
Overall I think this cable will meet anyone’s needs who is looking for a new charging cable.

Excellent cord for charging USB-C devices

If you have owned a lot of charging cords, you know “a cord is not a cord is not a cord.”
What makes this USB-C charging cord better than others is the high quality of the material and the build, as well as the 90-degree turn on one end.
I find this last feature to be very useful for fitting into USB-C ports that are positioned in a way that could put a lot of stress on the cord due to bending.
It also works well for situations where the port is hard to get to or where it is adjacent to either another USB port or AC outlet that would not allow a regular and larger USB-A plug to fit adjacent to it.
Longer, however is almost always better than shorter for charging cord and I appreciate the extra length of this cord. This especially helpful while traveling when outlets and charging ports are few and far between, such as bedside in a hotel.
Overall, I really like the feel of this product and I expect it to last a long time, especially now that USB-C on both ends is becoming a global standard.
I recommend this product.

I don’t know what material has been used to make this cable, but the charging process is definitely faster compared to my old USB-C cable. This USB-C insignia cable works great with either my Android cell phone, my wife’s Iphone 16, or my laptop. The 7” length is perfect for connecting it to the Car Radio. It allows you to have more movement and the connection is very stable so I can use it with wired Auto android, or Car play. The right angle feature prevent is a clever idea, and it seems to me that it will help to avoid damaging the port, and it is a great solution while watching videos or having a video call because you can place it in vertical position. It’s perfect my laptop because of the 90 degree connector which makes it look organized and clean. The braided design of the cable and the white color, looks and feels very high quality. The connector locks into the port firmly and secures on both sides. Even if the cable design is reinforced and shielded, it is still flexible. It’s definitely a great value product with a long lifespan.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that our cable is enhancing your charging speed. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate you sharing your positive experience.

I am always looking for a better charging solution at work, home office, or home. It’s a bit frustrating to mess with awkward plugs, reach, and fear of damaging the cable. Well, I think this cable may the solution. Let’s look at the checklist:
Length -Check. 7’ is plenty long as I can reach the charger on the wall, under the desk, or around furniture such as my couch.
Quality- Check. The braided cable is well-made. I don’t see the cable fraying any time soon, and I’m certain it can withstand stepping or running over it with the chair. The reinforced USB-C port is welcome.
Functionality- Check. The right angle helps in keeping the cable neatly along the device. This helps in decluttering the space as well as keeping it from being tangled. Also, it keeps other ports clear in some cases. The handy rubber strap to neatly put the cable away is a plus.
And finally, Price- Check. For the asking price, I think this a great value.
As you can tell, I am quite pleased with this cable and certainly recommend checking it out.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us! We're delighted to hear that the cable meets your needs in terms of length, quality, functionality, and price. It's great to know that the 7' length allows you to reach chargers easily, the braided design ensures durability, and the right-angle feature helps keep your space organized. The right-angle connector is a perfect touch to keep things looking neat and organized while I’m charging my laptop. The connectors are firm and lock into place nicely. Both ends are molded plastic, and the cloth sheathing feels like polyester. The white color is aesthetically pleasing and inconspicuous.
Cables with the braided cloth exterior like this one are usually much more flexible than cheap plastic-sheathed cables. This cable is indeed more flexible than average, but it’s not perfect. Although I didn’t cut into it to find out, I suspect that there is a thin PVC liner underneath the braided sheathing that gives it a little bit of stiffness. It has the telltale perma-bends where the cord was folded in the package that probably will always be there. But, like I said, it’s still relatively soft so it’s an improvement over a standard plastic cable.
As a bonus for my inner cable management nerd, the cable came with a nice rubber strap to keep the excess length neatly tucked away. I love it!
Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback! We're delighted to hear that you appreciate the design and functionality of our cable, especially the right-angle connector and the braided cloth exterior. It's great to know that it helps keep your setup neat and organized. Price & flexibility of the cord are the only cons

When it comes to charging cables, there's not a lot a company needs to do to succeed in getting customers to purchase their product. Generally, the critical aspects are durability, price, and flexibility. Insignia gets 1/3 here, correct, but lacks on a few others.
I realize $20 isn't much money these days, but it is when it comes to a charging cord made from an in-house brand. Finding a charging cable isn't difficult to do between online and electronic stores. There are many options, and paying over $10 for a cord makes you think twice. On the other hand, this cord is hefty and made to last. After unboxing, it doesn't take long to realize it's a durable cord that should last through multiple devices and charging blocks.
With durability, though, comes a flexibility issue. I like to use this cord with my SteamDeck due to its handy right-angle charging port. On the first use, it took a bit to unwind it and ensure it was straightened out, and then on the second use, I had to make sure that when I plugged it in, it was straightened out before plugging it in. This isn't a huge deal, though. I would rather have it as durable as it is than super flexible. But they could have done a better job at a compromise.
Speaking of that right-angle charging port. That's a game changer for a SteamDeck or handheld gaming device. It helps ensure a secure and non-distracting connection because it doesn't stick out and on top like a regular cord would.
All in all, if you're looking for a right angled charging cord specifically, this one is a solid choice. It should last a long while. Seven feet is a great middle ground for me. It's long enough for most use scenarios, but still manageable to organize bedside or other traveling.
Thank you for your detailed feedback on our charging cable. We appreciate your insights on its durability, price, and flexibility. We understand the importance of balancing these aspects and will take your comments into consideration for future improvements. We're glad to hear that you find the right-angle charging port beneficial for your SteamDeck and that the cable's durability meets your expectations. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to enhance our products and services.

I bought this cable to charge my phone in my new vehicle, which has a USB-C charging port. I did not like how typical cables stuck out so far (and could become dislodged or possibly damage the port by people moving around my vehicle). This cable has worked for me because the 90-degree angle is more flush with the port and has not been as easily-dislodged.
