I recently purchased a new TV and wanted a cleaner look to the entertainment area. Our sound bar is a lot smaller than most and I was concerned that I would have a hard time finding the correct fit. This flexible fix holder worked perfectly and was easy to install on the new TV while I was in the process of putting the wall mount on. The mounting holes on the bracket allowed me to get the perfect width for the bar and the perfect spacing under the tv easily

Since my original TV mount is rated for 55 pounds, the math works out safely, but it is something you should check before you start. - Unboxing, Design, and Build Quality - Right out of the box, the product feels sturdy and seems to be a quality build. It comes in standard packaging and includes a good variety of hardware and parts to accommodate different TV sizes, designs and VESA patterns. The attachment pieces are simple and finished in a matte black that blends in well behind the screen of my television. There are plenty of adjustment points, which is helpful since you can shift the arms to fit various soundbar lengths and heights. I used this on a 40" TV and it seems like every size and type is accounted for. I kept the extra hardware in my toolbox. - Installation - The process took me roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. (If I had to do it again it might take me 30 minutes, I slowed down to make sure everything was correct and secure.) To do this properly, I had to pull my TV down from the wall, remove the current mount from the back of the set, and then sandwich the soundbar mount between the TV and the original hardware. On a 40 inch television, the final result feels sturdy. I found it a bit awkward to get everything perfectly level while holding the bars in place, but it was manageable. The arms that support the soundbar can be adjusted by loosening the knobs, allowing for minor tweaks to the positioning. While the design is effective, its overall stability largely depends on the quality of your existing TV mount. My mount swivels from the wall, which adds a layer of complexity, but even with that movement, the soundbar stays secure and doesn't feel flimsy. - Conclusion - I would recommend this mount to anyone looking for simple all-in-one setup or those looking to avoid a wall install for their soundbar. Just be mindful of your TV's height on the wall, because the soundbar attaches to the bottom or rear of the set, your mounting height will determine where the sound originates. I love a surround system including sound bar with my wall mounted TV. The problem is that it takes up so much space on the stand under the TV. I was so excited to find that there is a solution to this eye sore. The Insignia Rear/Bottom Mount (for TV Mount Install) attaches the sound bar to the TV and it looks amazing taking up zero stand space. It matches the TV wall installation that we were currently using and the TV as well. It looks great. The TV Mount is sturdy made of heave material. I do not worry at all about my soundbar falling down. We wanted it to attach the sound bar to the TV in Family Room. However the TV mount we were using to attach the TV to the wall interfered with the installation of the sound bar. So we used this sound bar mount to attach the soundbar to the TV in the living room. It was so easy to install and only took a few minutes and the installation was totally complete. Everything we needed was included in the package.It was black so it matched everything so perfectly. Now I just need to see if Insignia makes other types of soundbar mounts that will work with our family room TV. I suggest looking over your wall mounted TV installation before purchasing this particular soundbar mount system to make sure it will work with your TV and soundbar. My Problem is Solved in the living room and it only took a few minutes and I love it! I have attached photos so others can see just how great this mount looks

I have been trying to make my entertainment areas less cluttered by hiding wires behind the wall and wanted to move my soundbar from my wife’s dresser to under the TV. I have had good experiences with Insignia products and wanted to try out this Insignia soundbar TV mount. The mount is well built with strong metal brackets and rubber padding lining the soundbar cradles. The kit includes universal parts to work with a variety of soundbars. The kit also includes various screws and spacers for the back of the TV. I found the installation was so intuitive, I did not even have to look at the instructions. After the installation was complete, I was able to make adjustments for proper soundbar placement. The adjustments were easy to make since the kit used wingnuts for easy loosing/tightening (see photo). I would recommend this soundbar kit for anyone wanting to mount their soundbar to the TV. The included parts are high quality and installation was quick and easy. My wife is also happy to have more room on top of her dresser.

INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE: This is where things get interesting. The mount is marketed as a universal fit, but "universal" does its usual overconfident work here. My TV setup required skipping a portion of the included hardware entirely — the bottom-mount rail configuration was incompatible with my TV's geometry, so I defaulted to the rear/VESA attachment method using only the bracket arms. The unused parts (several screws, anchors, and the top part of the base rails) went back in the bag. The modification process itself wasn't complicated, but it does require you to problem-solve on the fly. The instruction sheet is minimal, so if your setup deviates from the intended configuration at all, you're largely on your own. A bit more guidance in the manual for common TV stand shapes would go a long way. BUILD QUALITY: The metal rails and bracket arms feel solid and have a clean matte black finish that pairs well with most soundbars. No flex or rattle once installed. The Insignia soundbar now sits snugly below the wall-mounted TV, just under the bottom bezel — exactly the integrated look the product promises. THE RESULT The after photo says it all. The soundbar is flush under the TV, the dresser top is cleared for decorative items, and the whole setup reads as intentional rather than improvised. The visual upgrade alone justifies the modest price of this mount. BOTTOM LINE If your TV and soundbar match Insignia's intended specs closely, this is an easy, clean install. If you need to deviate — as I did — expect to leave some hardware unused and do a bit of trial-and-error fitting. The end result is worth it, but the mount could benefit from clearer documentation for non-standard configurations. I gave it 4 of 5 stars as the universal fit didn't fit my TV as expected.

The Insignia Rear/Bottom Soundbar Mount is a surprisingly smart little upgrade that solves a problem anyone with a wall‑mounted TV has run into. Most soundbars include brackets meant to bolt directly to the wall, which works fine until you introduce an articulating TV mount. The moment you swivel your TV, the sound stays pointed straight ahead, completely disconnected from where you’re actually watching. This mount fixes that elegantly. By attaching the soundbar directly to the TV mount instead of the wall, the soundbar moves in perfect sync with the screen. Wherever the TV points, your audio follows. It’s one of those why didn’t I do this sooner accessories. Installation is surprisingly simple. If your TV is already mounted, just loosen the lower screws that secure the TV to the mount, slide the slim metal brackets between the TV and the mount, and tighten everything back down. The only tricky part is choosing the correct mounting hole so the soundbar sits exactly where you want it. Having a second person hold the soundbar in place while you line things up makes this step much easier. It delivers a clean, unified installation that just works.

This does exactly what it looks like, it gets your speaker off of your dresser or gives you the ability to ‘wall mount’ your speaker without drilling even more holes. I have a TV in the loft that has a sound system that is wall mounted but I got an even better one that is now mounted in my room, I thought about installing the nice one with surround sound in the loft, but decided not to because of the holes that would be obvious if I did switch them. I could patch the holes and paint, but that that would require me to figure out if we even have spare paint at this point or going and buying another gallon, that is quite a bit of annoyance when the speaker is still excellent just not quite as good as the new one and surround sound is a little wasted in my room versus the loft. If I had installed that sound bar on this stand, I could switch it with ease. I had looked at shelves, but I could never decide on one that we both liked. This is because it mounts to the existing TV/mounting systems just kind of disappears. It took about ten minutes to install and came with all of the required hardware to replace the lower two screws that were part of my TV mount hardware. One of my worries was potential vibration that could disturb the quality of the sound; however, this wasn’t an issue at all, and it sounded just as good as before. Overall, I love this solution.

If you have a sound bar and want a cleaner look or you just don’t have the room, these Insignia sound bar mounts are a great option. I have a tv mounted with an articulating mount and I always keep it extended so my options for a clean mount were limited until I got these. I’m using these with a 65 inch tv, the sound bar I use was a little to tall but I was able to do a workaround. When mounting these to the back of my tv, even on the lowest setting my sound bar wouldn’t fit. So I just used the bottom screws to hold it to the back of the tv and I was able to mount it. The screws they include are very robust and my sound bar is only 5 to 6lbs well within what these are designed to hold so I had no concerns mounting it like this. You have different options when mounting your sound bar with these, you can sit it on the L bar bracket (like I did) or it can be screwed to the back of the sound bar using the flat bracket. The brackets also can swing to the sides for sound bars with screw holes that aren’t directly in the center. This is an overall great option if want to mount your sound bar directly to your tv for a cleaner look.

This is an acceptable and a cost-effective sound bar mounting solution for HDTV’s that are either wall mounted or using a pedestal base stand. Performs as advertised with easy installation if you are installing in conjunction with your intended wall mounting bracket or pedestal (initial installation of the TV). But if you are adding a soundbar after the fact, then complete removal of the HDTV from its current mounting is required to attach this soundbar mounting system to the VESA mounting bushings. Includes numerous installation hardware for various screw sizes and with an assortment of spacers for most all mounting patterns. What is not included are mounting nuts that would allow this soundbar mount to be attached directly to your wall mount or pedestal base bypassing using the HDTV’s rear four internal VESA mounting bushings. One feature of notable mention are the angled mounting arms are “notched” to “lock in” the two padded brackets where the actual sound bar sits. The thumb screws with tee-handles are easily adjustable and will stay in place with this design. I have used other mounting systems that will drop the sound bar over time. Once set, this one stays in place. RATING: After installation and seating an Insignia sound bar attached to a 40” HDTV on a pedestal base, I believe this economical sound bar mounting solution earned itself a solid 5-Star rating.

I have tried numerous sound bars for my TVs. Each time the technicians went to install them, they said that it could not fit properly for my Mantel Mount TV mounts. In fact, I had to change out my sound bars completely. This set is the only one that finally worked!

I purchased an Insignia sound bar to add a little something to my outdoor patio set-up. We had a small older flatscreen that we wanted to use to watch games and stuff outside on our patio but the sound wasn't great at high volumes so I wanted a soundbar I could mount to add to the experience. Set-up was super easy and the mount came with plenty of options for mounting screws to match my TV. Insignia has really been putting out some very good products at lower price points.

Fits perfect on my daughter’s new tv and soundbar really save me from making more holes in the wall for the soundbar

My only issue is that these are tedious to adjust after mounting. They feel durable and well made and haven’t given me issues.

I had already purchased metal to make my own bracket and saw this item. Cheaper than the price of the metal and saved me from having to make it. Online the title says bottom mount but the product says you can mount above or below the TV. I mounted above and looks great. The brackets mount under the wall mount on the back of the TV.
