This adapter worked awesome so that I could have 3 screens running off of my laptop that didn't have enough ports to handle that many. Sure made working from home for the last 2 months a lot easier to handle.

needed this adapter to hook up a projector to complete a school project. This worked right out of the box and was working within 5 minutes of install. No driver updates or downloads, exactly what we needed.

I have this for almost two years and it is working perfectly. I can use this from one computer to another and projecting my presentation to an LCD projector or a second monitor was without glitch.

This has been a great piece of equipment. My boyfriend works from home and was having problems with the one he had. Got this one at a much reasonable price and has not had any problem with it.

Served its purpose to convert for a screen as we were in lockdown. I was using an older screen that did not have a usb connection. I paired this with a 4 port usb converter as I had a Microsoft surface and needed to see what I was doing on a bigger screen.

If you have an old monitor and your laptop has no VGA ports, this adapter is perfect for converting your VGA monitor to a USB monitor.

I plugged it in and it worked without any problems. I was able to use the VGA adapter to operate a second monitor. I encountered no problems at all. It was worth the price.

Had to get new computer and ended up with 15.5 inch laptop. Not good for these old eyes, I wanted my 22" screen back but my IT and other techs couldn't give me any solutions to hook up my screen to this laptop. I stopped in Best Buy and guess what...BINGO, your staff came up with a great solution. Granted it was a bit much for this Social Security funded old ager, but you have to do what you have to do. I have two old monitors styled with a VGA and DVI port. I’d been trying to get them connected to use multi screen option for a minute. This particular adapter wins and did the trick.

Purchased Adapter to use on my laptop. Works great and keeps me from wearing out my eyes on the laptop screen. I just plugged the adapter in the vga cord and I have a monitor.

This is like a perfect bridge between legacy systems and newer technology. Honestly I was not expecting this to work but - surprise! Image quality is as good as an HDMI output.

The Insignia™ - USB to VGA Adapter - Black is a good little adapter for general purpose and business use. I use mine to drive a 3rd monitor on my media creation computer. I am an audio engineer, and I use both of the monitors attached to my regular video card for displaying my audio and video mixing / editing software with all the controls I use. This device gives me one more monitor at full HD to keep the less than necessary but very useful "fluff" windows on. This includes Windows Explorer, a word processing window with notes, a web browser, that kind of thing. These are things that could really go behind other windows, but are convenient to have not hidden. Video performance is decent. I can get full-screen 1080p 30 frames per second on it with no problems. I wouldn't suggest this for a gaming screen (I'm not aware of any USB video adapter that does that well) but it's nice for many other things.

I needed a way of connecting my older monitor to my relatively new laptop. The adapter was the solution of coupling my two pieces of equipment together thus avoiding to purchase a new monitor.

I needed this adapter because I got a new laptop that didnt have any VGA ports. I have 2 24" monitors with this laptop and one is older so needed VGA. Very happy with the performance.

Bought this adapter to connect a touchscreen hp cpu to a dell computer monitor. It worked shortly after the settings adjusted.

does what its supposed to do, I loved the fact that I plugged it in and it worked, some adapters require installation, not sure if its the case with all computers
