The 8K video is insanely sharp, and being able to reframe footage later means I never miss the shot—even if I wasn’t facing the right direction. Expensive camera BUUUUT, WELL WORTH THE PRICE TAG! Great for vlogs, capturing adventures, and impossible shots you otherwise would not be able to capture. Great audio and video! Can get the selfie stick or 2-in-1 stand a record kids games or family functions! Great for most occasions period! Will get great use, very small and compact, easy to bring along anywhere. I suggest probably getting one spare battery and it should be enough battery life to give you plenty of videos and pictures! LOVE THIS CAMERA! Plenty of features to use on insta360 app as well!

I bought X3 last year and swiftly upgraded to X4. Definitely worth it as bigger is better! The difference is the notable longer battery life, bigger sensor chip, and improved performance overall. After final rendering you are still left with a gorgeous clip that easily surpasses the X3's capabilities.

The Insta360 X4 is a great option for individuals who want to capture those precious moments in life where taking a picture just isn't enough. My opinion stems from my experience on my motorcycle. Setup: Out of the box, I had some initial difficulties with getting the camera set up. I wasn't able to activate the camera for some unknown reason. I checked the app for updates and didn't see any. I ended up finding a fix by downloading the latest app directly through the insta360 website. This ended up letting me finally activate the X4. Add-ons: It comes with a pair of lens covers and a carrying case. Performance: The improvement from the X3 is actually fairly noticeable. The jump from 5.7k to 8k video recording sharpens the footage and removes excessive graininess. HDR video and photo was especially good and the different "lab" options in the insta360 app made the possibilities endless. Battery life: This is where I saw the biggest difference. The X3 sports a 81 minute battery life while recording while the X4 shows off an impressive 135 minute battery life. This increase is due to the 2290mAh lipo battery. If you've ever used a GoPro or any action camera in general, you'll know that a 2+ hour battery life is insane! In 360!!! Conclusion: Truth be told, I've only had a few hours of play time with this device and can't really provide a better review, but as a previous, GoPro, Insta360 x2, and x3 owner, I can say confidently that this new iteration is an amazing value.

I started looking into 360° cameras recently and tried out an X3 for a while. The possibilities are super cool. However, I exchanged it for this new X4 due to the higher quality and additional features of the X4. The upgrade was very worth it. The list of improvements is very long. I love the AI gesture recognition to take pictures or videos hands-free. The color, dynamic range and detail is much better than the X3 in both videos and stills. You can now do 72MP photos in HDR, a huge boost from the 18MP on the X3. The camera also processes PureShot (extra high-quality shots) directly on the camera without having to load the photos into the Insta360 app and process them yourself. The detail level of video and stills also looks better in VR in 360°, especially 8K video and 72MP HDR stills – the quality is still not perfect in VR, but noticeably better than X3. One of my favorite things about 360° cameras, particularly the X4 with its great image quality and range of useful features, is that you can walk around with the camera on the invisible selfie stick and easily take photos or video without having to pay any attention to framing the shots in the moment. You don't need to pay any attention to the camera at all while capturing, it simply records everything happening all around you and lets you do all kinds of creative framing later, so it's great to use during travel and other activities where you want to stay present in the moment and not be distracted. It's a huge plus compared to shooting photos/videos with your phone, where your eyes have to remain on the screen the entire time, which really takes you out of the moment. I love this camera.

I’ve been using this camera with my GT350R and it’s been absolutely epic. The 360-degree footage looks insane, especially when I’m carving through corners or cruising with the exhaust roaring. It handles motion really well, no blur or shake, and the stabilization is top-tier. Super easy to mount and control through the app too. If you’re into cars or motorsports, this is hands down one of the best action cameras out there. Worth every penny!

This camera is perfect for beginners! The controls are straightforward and intuitive, so I didn’t feel overwhelmed trying to figure it out. The auto modes work really well, and I was able to start taking great photos right away. There are also lots of YouTube videos on how to best use this camera for beginners.

I've has this for less than a month. I've used it about three times. The quality of the video is great! But, I've struggled with the editing. Haven't figured that part out yet. Takes a long time to edit and then export. Maybe I am doing something wrong. It also get very hot, and battery drains quickly...

This camera is unreal for the price! I'm like a kid at Christmas with the coolest gift ever! I'm blown away by how easy it is to use and the quality. I'm thankful I can use it as a webcam as well (with the firmware update) since I needed one. Best purchase I've made in years!

As a photographer and filmmaker with way too much professional gear, I wanted to dip my feet into the world of 360 photography to see what the fuss was about and this camera seems to be the gateway to get said feet wet. I used this camera recently to a trip to Korea, mounted on the proprietary selfie stick mounted on my backpack sticking out a foot above my head. I bought the audio adapter so i could attach a wireless mic attachment and mic'd my co travelers as we walked through the streets of seoul and to the countryside. I was able to turn on the camera and shoot at will with my phone and adjust the direction of the camera and also edit the direction of the camera later, which is a pretty cool and novel way of editing a one take shot. Also worked great as a single cam on a carmounted shoot where I could "cut" or pan between the driver and passenger editing a convo. For timelapses, pretty cool gimmick in capturing sunsets and sunrises as you can rotate around to see the whole visage of the camera. As a photography tool, the 360 gimmick is pretty cool as an interactive photo on social media. The focal length and picture quality are meh, It's what would you would expect from any wide angle go-pro like device. Color adjustments to be made later in post. My single criticism of this relatively affordable device is that I didn't wait long enough for the X-5, which I am reading is far better shooting in low light situations. I imagine this would be heavily discounted soon, so that maybe the only pro compared to the x-5
