Excellent product. Would recommend for any household

Received as a gift but upon further review I spent the money on a manual upright Dyson! No way this could compare to to the power. Thought it would drive my dog nuts and with only 60 min. runtime it would never finish the whole house.

Bought this for christmas.. the roomba never charged so we called roomba and they sent a new charger base and it still didnt work.. they told me to charge it for .. 16 hours...?? So we did and it still didnt work.. we took it back..

The unit requires a large open area around the docking unit which I do not have. It has a low lasting battery time before it runs out. It has only returned to its docking unit for recharging once as it gets lost in other rooms.

Very limited on what you can control on your mobile device. It doesn't allow any directional control; the unit will keep going wherever it wants, missing any ares uncleaned. Go for the more advanced model, if you really want one.

I have a samsung robot vacuum that is smart, does not get stuck and does an ok job. I got this irobot rumba and first use, it is horrible. Stuck 4 times, barely cleans and seems to have to ryme or reason to its process. The samsung is at least giving off the appearance it has a process and mission, iRobot just goes willy nilly here and there. it has gotten stuck three times in the same place, would be nice if it learned, guess not. This one is going back to the store its not for me!!!!

The iRobot Roomba is a neat robotic vacuum that helps tidy up the floors in your house. We did some extensive testing and there are some pros and cons to having this device. Before considering this device, make sure that you have a smartphone. The only way to set it up and operate it is through the iRobot Home app. If you do not have a smartphone, this will not work for you. Setting up the Roomba is easy. You download the app and it has instructions that will guide through setup. It should only take you a few minutes at most to get this setup to your Wi-Fi network. Once it's setup, you register your email address to create an account. You use the app to start the cleaning sessions and it has some neat features such as setting up a cleaning schedule and a performance log. The schedule is nice because you can set it and forget it. The performance log shows the number of cleanings, total time Roomba has cleaned, and a dirt detect count. This is nice because you can see the number of dirt detection climb up while you're doing other stuff around the house. The app also has a Care section that shows you how full the dust bin is and the status of your rollers and brushes. There are some parts you will have to replace, which you can order from the app itself if you wish. The Roomba itself is a little taller than I expected, but that isn't too much of a problem. The only issue that we had, was when it cleaned underneath our kitchen cabinets. We have an older home, so Roomba will not fit all the way underneath. There are brushes that will move dirt to get in the hard to reach places though. The dust bin on this device is a decent size. If you have pets, it's recommended to empty it twice and it does pick up a lot of pet hair. We have 2 cats and a dog with hardwood floors, so having the Roomba on a schedule is nice. The bin comes out easily for emptying and placing it back in is smooth. This device comes with a Dual Mode Virtual Wall that runs on two AA batteries. The first mode creates a straight line across the area and the other mode creates a circle barrier which is good for things like pet food bowls. The only thing that I worry about with this virtual wall is knowing when the batteries need replaced. There is no indication of this on the app itself, so I worry that the Roomba will run while we are out and take a tumble down the stairs. We can close the basement door, but this would be nice to have on the app if possible (but I doubt it). The only issue we ran into with the Roomba was that it got stuck underneath our dining room table a few times, which required us to pick it up to move it. Depending on your furniture, this may or may not be an issue for you. Another thing to note, is that you might want to move any cables out of the way. My phone charger was on the floor and the Roomba sucked it up and we had to intervene. Not a huge complaint, but just a warning (as with any vacuum). Overall, I'd say that we are very happy with this product. It allows us some extra freedom while it's cleaning to do other things around the house when we may not have all the time in the world to clean. The weekly schedule is a huge pro for us since we run it twice a week to keep up with the amount of pet hair we have to deal with. I recommend it if you are looking for one.

Honestly I wouldn’t waste your money, this little guy just randomly vacuums with no pattern or plan. I was very disappointed and returned it for the 960.

So I bought 2 on sale. The twins! One is stupid and can't figure out how to return to it's base so I returned it and the other is still working great-goes all over the house and comes back.

Unit seems to move around the hose and pick ups well. But you cannot schedule start times on the unit itself. Has to been done though Ap and getting it to connect has been an issue.

I loved my Roomba until I recently bought a new throw rug for my family room. The rug has some dark areas in it that cause the Roomba to stop constantly. Now, it's getting stuck on my rug all the time. It thinks the dark spots are cliffs. Now my Roomba won't complete a cycle without my help. I tried contacting iRobot to assistance but they were no help. Now I have a $300 machine that won't clean the room I bought it for.

I personally did not like.It would not go over the carpet rugs as well as I thought, sometimes I would have to search the house looking for it. I returned it.

Ok, I was so excited to get this. I have 2 German Shepherds and hair for days. The pick up on this vacuum is just sub-par. I have to move a lot of things to get a good vacuum.

Life saver for small pet hair..i have had it since february and it keeps making wierd screeching noises..i would give it a better review but it kind of disappointed me

When we bought this Vacuumwe thought this is gonna be great, not so much. Jams clogs and gets stuck way to easily. I went back to the regular Vacuum.

I loved it at first but the battery died easily . It makes a lot of noise too! It’s not as great as I thought it would be .

Its not all I hoped it would be. It just kinda blindly runs into things. It gets stuck on the same things everyday :/

Not impressed at all. Waited to purchase one of these once the bugs and kinks were worked out. I absolutely love robotic inventions, so this was extra disappointing to me. Does a pretty terrible job in vacuuming. Just blows everything around. Got stuck under a radiator and damaged the shell in 17 minutes of operating. The only redeeming quality is the electric fence that comes with it. It does a good job on directing the lost and confused robot. The mop version on the other hand is a wonderful purchase.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas after she hinted that she would like one. After Christmas she decided she didn’t want it. We returned it with no problems

This thing changes rooms every 10 minutes doesn't fit under a lot of the furniture and needs a lot of expensive replacement parts for upkeep not worth the money
