I researched for a long time which robot vacuum would be the best one. Time and time again it kept coming up as the roomba Had the best reviews. I have five dogs and needed something to clean the pet hair off the hardwood floor on a daily basis. Roomba does do the job on the hardwood floor but does not do a perfect job on any carpet surface. My carpet is very flat similar to hardwood not plush at all. And often times I have to re-vacuum that area. I would say rumba is perfect for anyone who has hardwood floors throughout the house.

I wish it could track where it went and didn’t miss so many spots. But it does good in the main areas. Gets stuck in tight spots.

Easy to use. Clean great under our couch and chairs. Also clean under bed where hard to reach area

Made this purchase due to have 3 dogs in the house. It does pretty good. It does get stuck on occasion but other I love it and it cleans really well

I’ve been inspired by this robot vacuum cleaner to clean my house more. It covers both carpet & hardwood floors and underneath beds with ease.

Overall the vacuum performs very good. It has its mishaps. But it's technology, you can't expect it to be absolutely flawless. I have two dogs, Pitbull and a Doberman and it seems to be doing a very good job picking up their hair.

After reading many user reviews for this product, I purchased it as a gift. She has not received it yet, but I expect she will be pleased. The price was great. The store was out of stock and ordered it for me. It was delivered to my home within a week.

It actually does a decent job! It reminds me of a mouse running across the floor not knowing where to go, lol! It runs around randomly with no rhyme or reason but it does manage to get to over 90 percent of the floor area. It runs until the battery gets low then it tries to go home. A problem we have noticed is when the unit tries to go home, there is a light sensor on the top of the vacuum and another on the base unit. The roomba has to lock on to the base unit by ( seeing ) the light on the base. With lots of objects between the roomba and the base when it tries to find it causes a major problem. I don't know if a wifi signal or sound signal that would start the unit towards the base from another room or area would help but it can sure use it. The unit is fairly easy to clean and after the first few times cleaning an area, you will find it easier to clean as the vacuum does a great job of cleaning. I have noticed a dramatic drop in seeing the dust 'Floaties' in the rooms when the sun shines in. My home HVAC filter has stayed clean much longer from the lack of dust in the house. You can wash the filter in the dirt bin by using a small amount of Dawn with warm water and my hands to gently work the dirt from the filter screen. I let it dry by using the supplied replacement filter that came with the unit. There are lots more I could say good about the unit but the one thing I wanted to say the most is how much my Wife fussed at me about not buying this thing for her sooner! Watch YouTube videos on what to prepare for and how to maintain the unit and you can't go wrong. Ours runs for around 90 minutes solid on a full charge. The docking issue is the only thing I see that needs serious improvement. Also, make sure the dock is stuck down if it is on a slick floor as it will slide around when the Roomba tries to lock on to dock. I used double sided sticky tape. It's thin and works well. Make the base heavier with a weight or something engineers! I absolutely recommend this!

Bought this thing years ago and still works great. Holds charge well and cleans up alot. Always picks up more dirt than you thought was there.

I use the Roomba 690 daily. I have a large home at 2700 living space. The Roomba cleans well but does not get the entire house on one cleaning. I normally move the roomba to different parts of the house to ensure a thorough cleaning. Overall, the Roomba cleans well. I have a hardwood floors in my home and my feet have never been cleaner when walking around. I would highly recommend the unit. You can't go wrong with the Roomba. Trust me, the roomba will clean better than you every could if you use it daily.

This bot is very thorough and has great battery life. It is just a bit louder than I would like, but other than that, not complaints!

My girlfriend is allergic to dust but unfortunately both of us work too much to be able to vacuum daily. With the Roomba, We are able to take care of this problem easily. It is surprising how much dust the Roomba picks up daily! I highly recommend.

The irobot goes straight and turns when "sees" a obstacle, so it is cleaning the floor randomly, its path is like a broken fish net, there are lots of big and small areas it never touched, and some area it cleaned over and over again. When it gets into a small area like restroom, it stuck in there for good 15 minutes, can't make its way out, I had to pick it up, take it out then put it down. My mom had to follow it everywhere to move the chairs, shoes, etc., but it only helped a little bit, her biggest complain is the floor is not clean even after 45 minutes of vacuum, she had to finish the job manually. And it also is quite noisy.

Don't know why we waited so long! All hard wood floors with a rug in living room, 3 kids and 2 100lbs Rottweilers. My wife and I swept and moped then put Betty down to clean. Bin was full after first run. Picks up everything and cleans baseboards!

This little vacuum really works. It cleans (reasonable items) very well. It's great to have it clean, even when you're not at home. You can set schedules and not ever touch the thing, except when it's time to clean/empty. It also allows for connection to Alexa, so you can just say, "Alexa, ask Roomba to start cleaning". The only thing I don't like is it get stuck under my couch. I've looked for attachments to use so it doesn't clear and just hit and turn, but hadn't found anything yet.

Just watching this thing go through a large room, you would think everything that it does is random. However, I placed it in a smaller walkway that I did not want to clean and observed how this device bounces into walls to ferret out its parameters. After a few turning motions and random bounces, I watched it cut a straight line down the wall at a perfect 1.5 inch distance from the wall. Don't let the price fool you, the brains on this thing are pretty impressive. I am pleased with the cleaning results as well.

Works good. Picks up all the pet hair and crumbs from my 16month old. Only down fall is it gets stuck often around my house.

Works as expected. Picks up dog fur and dirt, which is what I wanted. Kind of loud, but not a problem if you set it for when you aren't home.

We are very pleased with the great cleaning job this little device does. Amazing to watch it in action and very easy to set up.

Gift for the wife makes my job a lot easier just push the button and cleans daily after all my dog hair
