I was a little skeptical and my wife was very skeptical of this product's abilities...Now we simply have clean floors with little to no effort on our part. Bob, our Roomba's name, is able to move room to room, even over uneven thresholds, and cleans better than our shark vac. WIth four dogs, two cats, two teens, and my woodshop activities, our floors take a beating. With Bob on the job, they're always clean. Love it...likely getting one for the upstairs soon.

We got this unit after we found that a friend, who also had a Golden Retriever, didn't have any problems with dog hair. When we asked why, she said, "Roomba, baby!" With a shedder like a GR, you do have to clean it out every night, but that is a minor incovenience compared to having snowdrifts of dog hair accumulating next to your dining room chairs. This is not the most expensive model, not by a lot, but it works great.

Picks up dog hair very well , navigates around furniture nicely, returns home when needs charging

This is a great product. It does clean up our hardwood floors and carpets in our new home. I'm so glad I have purchased this, it's been a great help with the house work. Now I can do much more without having to deal with cleaning our floors. It sometimes do get stuck underneath our couch but I guess that's something that cannot be avoided. I would probably get another for our 2nd floor so that I would not have to keep moving it around.

A fantastic time saver for those of us who are on the go all of the time. Saves you from many "embarrassing" moments when you have company coming and you just haven't had time to properly clean the house.

Roomba cleans great. The only issue it has is that it likes to wedge itself under cabinets.

The romba really made myself easier, it does the job. Some times he misses spots and don't come back to them, sometimes it does. That's why it's not a 5 star, but it's a great product

We love the iRobot. It does a good of vacuuming the house. It has a tendency to get stuck under the corners of the furniture from time to time but for the most part it does a great job of cleaning house.

It seems to clean pretty good. I purchased another virtual wall to help control the cleaning area. I usually clean each floor at different times. Each floor is about 1800 square feet. The battery charge only last for one floor. You do have to prepare your floors so that it runs efficiently by moving anything that will obstruct movement. That’s a small price to pay for me not to have to vacuum. Very good for everyday maintenance.

I watch her when she starts to clean, I think she's going to miss stuff, but when I come home she's got the place spotless. I like the idea, that after she does her thing, she knows how to go home. When I come home she's always recharged and ready to go again. I am always surprised about how much stuff she picks up, I think my place is clean, but when I go to empty the container or (bin), it's always got a lot of dirt and lint in it. I am glad I bought her.

My wife says that the Roomba is wonderful. It was easy to setup and does a good job. She even named it, Rosie.

I absolutely love, love, love my Roomba. There is nothing better than coming home to clean floors. I have mostly wood and tile flooring in the main living areas. With two dogs, it would seem as soon as I had dust mopped I would see hairs on the floor. When you download the app, you get to name your Roomba, ours is Mrs. Beasley. Everyone in the house talks about Mrs. Beasley and how much we love her! It's the best money I've spent in a long time!

I was skeptical of the robot vacuums but I read a lot of great reviews on the Roomba 690 so we decided to try it. We have 2 full size Golden Retrievers and we run our Roomba once a day and it does a great job keeping up with the dog hair. I personally don’t mind emptying the container after it runs, or cleaning the dog hair from the rollers. This thing vacuums for you so you can do something else. Just turn it on and let it do it’s thing.

This was a gift and I have to say, one of the best gifts ever! I can’t believe how this little machine can pick up so much stuff out of the carpet and hard and tile flooring. It goes for a long time too and I have to say ‘Rita’ (that’s what I named her) does a better job than me! Yes, you have to empty the bin every time but that’s not hard at all. There is some maintainance also but it does come with an extra filter. Five stars from me!

I have two kitties and notice there is hair everywhere, not a lot but enough to see. I usually get the broom and sweep but I seem to always be chasing the hair. I don't want to pull out the big vacuum and thought I'll try the Roomba. It seemed like I was being lazy but I knew I could try it and return it if I don't like it. I like it. My kitties are somewhat amused by it. Its a keeper. I just turn it on and let it do its thing. I'm a happy camper :)

As a cat owner most of my vacuuming is cleaning up cat hair. I finally had a friend talk me into getting a robot to do that for me and oh man do I regret not doing this years ago. Its so great to turn it on and walk away, coming back to a kitty hair free floor. Losing 1 star because I didn't realize this version of the product doesn't give you the cool house map on the App, apparently thats only the 900 series.
