This really does a nice job getting all the dog hair. Louder than I thought it would be. But no big deal.

Love that it can be controlled by my phone. cleans as expected and rarely gets caught on things.

So Furbuster (our name for the little cleaning ninja) definitely goes to town on our wood and ceramic floors. He’s a little louder than expected but still does a pretty good job! No set pattern just bounces here and there but hits everything needing cleaning. Did get stuck once under the coffee table but appears to have learned it’s not safe afterwards. Kind of loving my little splurge :-)

Programming is so easy. Works well. Easy to use. Sometimes gets caught on throw rugs though

Purchased this to make sure I liked enough to upgrade to the 890, which I still use along with Braava mop & 890, controlled via Roomba App; which is the only thing missing from this model

The product is priced right. And it is effective. It works well for a great present at the holidays as you will need it. THey all work similar to me find the best price.

Bought for my ocd wife and it cleans great. Does not dock all the time though.

For a long time I have been wanting to replace my original iRobot. When I saw this unit on sale for $80 off, I decided to buy it. It was easy to set up with the iRobot app and was almost fully charged upon arrival. Once it was fully charged, I started the unit. It cleaned very well. It made me realize that my old unit had not been cleaning well for a long time. I love that I can tell Alexa to start iRobot and clean.

I love the Rooma, only reason 4 not 5 stars is that they tend to die, so we buy a WARRANTY every time, makes getting a new one easy. They have made adjustments over the years for easier cleaning, but we have pets and fur. But we keep getting them, tried another brand, it failed to. So, ALWAYS get the extra warranty. It works great 99% of the time! I got one for my mom, and my kids got one too!

It works excellent and picks up a ton of stuff. I would have spent the money on a model that actually identified barriers etc. we have to remember it’s vacuuming your house which is amazing but it uses allot of energy wandering and you also have to roomba-proof your home or it will get stuck. Overall I am happy with it but if I had it to do over I would buy the more advanced models.

My only regret is not purchasing sooner. We live on a small ranch & believe me, our new little helper gets a workout. Works like a charm on our concrete floor & goes right over my cowhide rugs with no problem. Probably the cleanest they have ever been! Only con is that it is not compatible with our wifi, so cannot use my android to schedule. Not a deal breaker for me. No problem to push the little green clean button and see her work her magic.

Does it job, cleans well and the battery last all the way to clean my home (2300sqft)

Good: cleaning power, floor coverage, dirt collection, programmability, functioning phone app, convenience, peace of mind, gives me added free time. Bad: photosensitive feature won't let it clean black surfaces, big issue if you have black carpets or rugs; only seems to want to return to dock station 50% of the time when job is complete, requiring manual return for charging etc.

Works ok I would prefer it clean in better patterns and pick up more dog hair but it does clean well just in crazy patterns

The iRobot is great for everyday vacuuming as it greatly cuts down the normal track of dust and dirt that accumulates. My wife normally cleaned the floors twice a week and we still had allergy issues with pet dander and dust. With this addition, we are able to deep clean once a week and let the iRobot do the bulk of the allergen cleanup through the week. If you have dust or pet dander allergies or sensitivity, I highly recommend!

Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. The dust bin is large enough that it can do a whole 3 bedroom floor with no issues. The biggest down fall compared to the more expensive models is the mapping of the floor. This model gets lost after it cleans one side of the house and gets to the other, and can’t return to home when it’s done cleaning. Thankfully it does include the boundary marking lighthouse thing, so I simply divide the house in half. One other difference is the cleaning pattern. Honestly, the 690 just seems to kind of bounce around all over the place. You think it’ll follow an edge, but then it darts around and zig zags all over the place. The higher models have a more specific pattern to clean more effectively. Lastly, the Home base station is, for lack of a better word, janky. It isn’t the most solid thing, and with wood floors, Roomba will knock it around as it try’s to dock. Some command strips did the trick in keeping it in place though. In my opinion though, all of these issues aren’t worth the extra $200-$300 for the next model.

It picks up pet fur very well. I really like how long it runs before needing to recharge.

Love this iRobot Roomba. Help me save time from sweeping. Clean real well and picks up a lot of dirt.
