Had a couple issues of it not completing its full cycle and returning to its charging station. Also fills up with dirt pretty fast. Mostly use it on hardwood floors. Had a throw rug which it couldn't go over, so I have to pick them up the rugs at night before it cleans and it does well weaving between the dining room chairs. Have to say I am very impressed. Might need to invest in one that dumps the dirt itself.

I was skeptical about buying a robot vacuum after my wife requested one. After quite a bit of research I decided to buy the iRobot 960. I’m glad I did! This machine is awesome and performs way better than I ever thought it would. Please note that this will not replace the need to use a regular vacuum but it’s perfect for running daily. We have 2 large dogs and had to vacuum daily to stay ahead of the dog hair bunnies. Now we can vacuum weekly and run the iRobot in between.

This is our third Roomba. We have worn out two an invested a little more money in this one because of the additional features. However, this Roomba has trouble finding its docking station. It also does not stay charged near as long as our previous models. I am still a big supporter of the brand, but I recommend you consider a different model.

This thing has a mind of its own and bumps in to me often to remind me that I need to be watching for intruders. Gets a lot of pet hair off the floor, which is good because we are trying to pretend we dont have pets.

My experience so far with this vacuum has been excellent. It vacuums very well and thorough. It’s smart enough to know places it can and cannot get into and only lightly bumps into obstacles, not damaging them. The only negative is that the battery on a full charge only lasts about an hour. However when this happens, it goes back to the recharge station and then when it’s charged finishes the job.

Very easy to use, Does a great job. Quieter than a 2016 model. Make your house clean without working real hard.

I can't imagine my life without this robot vac I push the start button and it cleans the entire downstairs twice. I have to kitties and most times I'm just to exhausted to vaccum and Roomba does the job for me !!!

Let me start with the fact we really like this. We have small kids and dogs, one sheds REAL bad (not going to clarify kid or dog). In general this does a great job. Reason for the lost star is too often it gets stuck during cycle so we had to adjust the automatic cleaning time to closer to when we get home so we can get it unstuck to finish the cycle. Would I buy again, yes. Would I buy a less expensive model, I think so. Cons: 1. Gets stuck a lot Pros: 1. Auto clean cycles 2. Self docking 3. Multi room (big plus) 4. Great job of maneuvering around 5. Does a really good job cleaning up hair and debris

Roomba cleans ~1700 sq ft. This takes a couple of hours and bin typically needs to emptied twice. We run the Roomba daily. My wife and I had a Roomba vacuum cleaner several years ago and were honestly a bit disappointed by it. Having said that we needed something to clean the floors on a regular basis and decided to give this a try. What a difference the newer models make. They have dramatically improved navigation, the WiFi reporting of what areas have been cleaned is impressive, and the new silicon rollers do a great job without getting perpetually clogged with pet fur. I will say that if iRobot could come up with some way to have the bin empty it's self (perhaps into a larger stationary vacuum bin) that would be amazing.

Needed to replace my old Roomba and decided to go with one which would interface with Alexa. Have to say absolutely love this Roomba. I have a heavy shedding dog and two long haired cats and this Roomba has no trouble with the pet hair, I've even had one of my nonpet owning friends comment that my floors were cleaner than theirs. The space I have this Roomba on is a mixture of tile, hardwood and carpet and the Roomba doesn't have issues changing between the different surface types. The only gripe I have with it is the lever which holds the dirt receptacle closed has gone bad and no longer engages. I empty the receptacle daily, but I've had the Roomba maybe two months and that just seems too fast for parts to go bad.

I have 2 cats and recently got a little puppy. I got this vacuum thinking it would help manage the hair and dander. After hearing friends say the roomba is ok, but I would still need to vacuum, I was skeptical. I’ve let it run a few times and man it this amazing! It picks up every bit of pet hair and dust, no spots missed. It’s also not super loud so it doesn’t freak the cats out as much as my normal vacuum. I’m glad I spent a little more for this version, it’s amazing!

Good product - does the work with occasional mishaps :-). The Roomba does a good job at picking up dust and pet hair on our main level - mostly wood floors. While it does clean carpet and area rugs, it sometimes needs a second pass (hence the 4 * not 5 *). Can occasionally get hung up it tight space but a nudge here or there is fine. Overall, I am satisfied with its operation and performance.

Works well picking up the animal hair (I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, one long haired) I love the fact that I can work on laundry or making dinner while the vacuuming is being done. I can set it to vacuum the kitchen then come behind and mop. It’s a little different then I expected, but once you get your routine down and figure it out, it’s a game changer! Only thing I would prefer is a longer battery life.

This model Roomba works well, maps consistently and doesn't get stuck very often. I have used other robot vacuums and was ready to give up on using them because they just wandered around cleaning some areas well and other areas not at all. This model vacuums well after our dog fur, and light debris collects on the floor. It goes back and forth from carpet to tile well.

So far we have loved it. It does makes sound when cleaning floors but if you are in a different room you won’t hear it. If it cleans carpets then you won’t hear it. It pick ups hear with no problem. We have not programmed yet but hope that helps with the house cleaning better. Tha battery lasts about an hour and then will go back to recharge and will start again once the battery is loaded.

This is a good purchase. The camera helps the roomba navigate the space so it is not just blindly, randomly vacuuming. The bumper is easily scratched upon impact and it has trouble with one of my rugs. The dispenser could be bigger. But overall it gets the job done with my 800sf condo. The mapping functionality is pretty cool, and it is drawn out on the app which is regularly updated.

I bought this robot vacuum to help my mother clean her house so that she didn't have to put as much work into herself with her recent knee replacement. It was very easy to set up and get going. It keeps her floors clean with ease and has had no trouble going over tile, hardwood, or carpeted flooring. It is able to clean her house on one charge also. It has been a great help and has had no troubles!

I bought Roomba for my wife on Mother’s Day. She had been asking for one so I finally pulled the trigger after reviewing most of the models. This one was the best unit for the price. After charging the unit, it started to clean the downstairs carpet and wood floors. We were all surprised at how well and quiet it operated. We highly recommend this product, you won’t be disappointed.

I have had a long line of robot vacuums, this one has been hands down the best. Cleans the best, maps the best, battery life is great, doesn't require magnetic tape to not roll down staircases, can be started with Google Home. Works quickly and does an excellent job. The slightly newer model that self empties is an upgrade, but for the cost savings, I would highly recommend this product.

I have been eyeing Roomba's for years, and thanks to a great price from Best Buy pulled the plug on the purchase. It was easy to set up and works great! After much research I chose this model because it maps my house to ensure no space is missed. The Roomba doesn't go on my tall, shaggy rug but that's not a problem for me. I am really happy with my purchase and would highly recommend!
