Worked wonders for our kitchen trash can. Highly recommend if you don’t want to keep buying batteries.

Purchased the trash can and wasn't looking forward to changing batteries. This resolved that problem.

I bought this for my itouchless trash can so I don’t have to keep charging the batteries. This works much better and worth it to spend extra for it, although I feel like the manufacturer should just add it with the purchase of the trashcan.

I purchased this when my batteries seemingly started to die and my garbage lid was only partially opening. It'd open about an inch and then I'd have to manually open it like any other garbage can. Purchasing this did NOT address my problem and messages to this company resulted in failed attempts to fix it (power off lid and then manually open/close 15 times or a full system reset). Overall, I'm unsure I'd purchase this trash can again. first, this adapter should be included in the original package. I hate that it's a separate purchase for this. Second, the cord isn't very long so make sure you have an outlet nearby and then you still have cords showing, which I'm not a fan of. That said, this particular item works as promised (provides continuous power to the garbage can lid so if you don't care about the above, then it's a worthwhile purchase.

Charger eliminates the need for the D batteries so it will pay for itself in no time. If you have the touchless garbage can i definately recommend using the charger over the batteries..and it also eliminates the need for changing the batteries in the compartment.

Using this with my iTouchless trash can saves money on batteries. I wish the cord was a hair longer, but I do have the convenience of a nearby receptacle to avoid batteries and use this.

I bought this for the trashcan instead of having to replace the battery & I have a plug right behind where I have it.

Gotta have it if you bought a itouchless trash can. I can't imagine how many batteries I'd use up as often as I put trash in that can!
