The Jaybird Freedom 2 is well designed with features such as ear tips with integrated fin, the SpeedFit cable management and discrete controls. The Freedom 2 are some of the best sounding earbuds I have owned, providing a very detailed, rich sound that is surprising at this price point. In addition, the downloadable app allows you to choose from audio presets, browse community submitted presets, or even customize your own giving you further adjustment of the equalizer. The ability to fine tune them to match the style of music you are listening to is a feature I wish all headphones provided! In addition to adjusting audio levels the app allows playlist sharing and can even assist in locating your misplaced headphones. Jaybird claims 4 hours of battery life plus an additional 4 hours with the included extended battery. What they don’t mention is that the extended battery is actually required to charge the headphones! The included extended battery clips on to the controls and charges via contacts on the battery. Unfortunately, what you expect in an attachable battery (small, discreet) is not desired in a device required to charge your headphones. I have not lost my battery yet, but I wish they would of built in the USB port on the controls or provided a charging cradle. Furthermore, I had difficulty getting these to fit properly. If inserted too far the audio sounds bad, mid and low range drop off and only high frequencies came through. I tried all four sets provided, but they either felt loose or created a suction effect. I am not sure if this is due to the sweat proof design, but my significant other with smaller ears did not have these fitment issues so it may vary person to person. I would rate these higher it weren’t for my fitment issues. Regardless, they are a great choice in sport headphones. If you are looking for a lightweight set of headphones that will stay in place during exercise and sound great I recommend you give these a try!

These wireless Bluetooth earbuds are super comfortable and they hug your ears in a great way so you can run, jog or exercise without fearing of them becoming lose! They paired quickly with my android phone and there is an app that you can download that will let you choose from equalizer presets or even create your own, oh, and when the app is in the background you also get a reading of your battery life! I wish the charging cable was longer, however it comes with an external battery, that you can charge independently and then affix the earbuds to it to charge them, or you can charge the whole chain at once! The sound was clear and powerful (after some adjustments on the app equalizer, I like my bass to be strong). I will highly recommend these to anyone looking for good sound while running in example because the several earbuds attachments make it easy so they don't fall of your ear!

Almost better than the other "B"ig brand ear buds

Okay, I'm not going over any specs because you can read those for yourself, but straight out of the box I fell in love with these ear buds minus 1 or 2 small things. When first taking these out and handling them you can feel in your hands that these buds are going to be comfortable in your ears. The ever more common wing tips that the jay birds come with are super soft and flexible, but this does not take away from how secure they are in your ears. They are super comfortable and I can wear these for hours without that annoying pinch or poking feeling from other wing tipped ear buds. Once you have them in your ears there is this simple but awesome adjustment feature to lengthen or shorten the wire to the most comfortable position for you just by pulling the wires apart or together. Connecting the Bluetooth function is easy as any other Bluetooth device and I haven't experienced any drop off from my phone. Now the sound is just amazing with the factory presets for me, however you can download the dedicated Jay bird app to adjust sound via an equalizer type atmosphere if you wish. They have a deep toned mid and low frequency to me that sits right in that perfect range where I like to listen to my music. So I bypassed using the app to adjust the sound. Using for phone conversations is good but this where I got to the very minimalistic feature that I wasn't 100% fond of, but this just being petty of me in a review. I think the control module with the volume and main buttons is a little big for such a finesse set of ear buds. Also to charge it, you have to connect the backup battery module to connect it to the USB charger. I think this feature is a little burdensome if you just want to connect a wire to charge it without worrying about another peice. Now the good deal with the battery back up is that you can charge this separately and use it for another 4 hours of usage, but I don't think I will use it for that because it makes the control module that much bigger than I already like. Overall, these ear buds are great and they are definitely comparable to the other "B"ig brand name ear buds.

Very pleased to see that the Jaybird team have worked on the old version and produced an excellent enhanced version of the freedom headset. The headset is packaged nicely and come with different size of tips with ear hooks that are guaranteed to fit nicely and stay on no matter what. I charged these up and took them on a bike ride and also a run and they stayed on all the time without any issue. These are so light that at some point you forget you are wearing them. The sound is crisp and clear with right amount of bass. The earbuds fit snugly since they go inside the ear cause of the foam and never move even move while running. The cable manager works as expected to tighten up the cable behind the neck providing a secure fit. The package comes with a micro usb cable and a clip along with a storage pouch. A single charge is expected to last 8 hours or so. The jaybird app complements the earbuds nicely and will probably provide upgrades in the future.

The Jaybird Freedom 2 Bluetooth headphones are comfortable to wear and have many adjustments so you can achieve the ideal fit. You have the option of looping the wire over your ear for a more secure fit and the integrated cord management allows you to quickly tighten the wire between the buds. You also have the option of wearing the wire a little looser and clipping it to the collar of your shirt. An app is also available to adjust the EQ to your preference, so these earbuds are all about customization and options. Unfortunately, the earbuds seal to your ear and block outside sounds, which can be a concern if you're running near traffic. Sound quality is great and these earbuds pump out some good bass. The inline remote is somewhat large and the clip-on power bank makes it even bulkier, but extends the runtime up to 8 hours if you need it. Make sure you don't lose this power bank as it's the only way to charge the earbuds (there's no Micro USB port directly on the earbuds themselves: you need to use the power bank and it's proprietary connection). Overall, these earbuds have worked great for me while running and both the fit and the sound are very customizable to suit your preference.

    Earbuds wires fallout

Bought today. Pro: Good sound. Pairing was flawless and fast on my iPhone 7. Jaybird app well-designed. Headphone’s voices tells you how much power is left when you turn it on. Nice feature. Cons:Wires are too short to go over ear even on my small head. Ear fin stays in ear but wire falls out. Tried all 4 sizes in box - those that fit ear did not hold wire in place. Followed ear/tip combo but could not get it to work for me. I used old round earbuds and the wire stays in headphone when I remove the headphone. Workaround. The headphone battery is 4 hours but cannot be charged separately without being connected to external battery. Odd. External batt releases from headphone batt with some effort - worried wires may loosen. Would not recommend to a friend.

I had the Bose wireless earbuds and got tired of knocking them out with anything touching them (Hoodie, hat, hand etc). So I bought these for the simplicity over the x3 since the x3 stick out further and I didn’t want to go through the same thing of knocking them out putting on hoodie. First things first...I’m not sure where people are getting that these fall out of their ears??? They fit really snug in my ears. The only way they’ve come out of my ears is if I snag the cord on something. Pros: Light weight, very good sound but not as good as the Bose ones, don’t stick out far so you can wear hats and hoodies and not knock out, Jaybird app is great, and the easy sinch for chord Cons: battery life, the connector to charge them(if you lose it there is no way to charge it), Not magnetic like the beats so when not in ear they fall off neck easily

Great sounding In-ear Headphones! Works well fitting any type of ears. I know because I always have a problem with good fit! The only knock on these headphones is the lack of battery (4 to 5 hours). Reason I dropped from 5 to 4 stars. If battery is not an issue, these are an excellent choice!

I recently became an audiophile and tried a few pairs, (Jaybird Freedom 2s, AirPods, Anker sports, Beats) and these are by far the best. The quality of the headphones is tough and sturdy, the connections don't feel fragile. The ear tips are highly adjustable and customizable to your ear shape. I have strange, small inner ears and the foam tips are perfect (though they do get sticky). The app takes these babies to another level. You can control the firmware by adjusting the bass, lows, highs, pick from presets. I listen to podcasts and audiobooks and these make the voices sound so crisp and clear. It comes with a clip to hook it to your shirt, and the dongle to charge it on the go. The only qualm I have is, I have long hair so the texture of the cord gets caught/pulls my hair sometimes so I always have to put it up. Overall extremely satisfied. If you're picking between these and any other Jaybirds, pick these!

Bought these for my fiance for when she does her workouts and she absolutely loves them. Great sound quality and stay in your ears at all times. Only thing is they need to be recharged every so often as battery life is decent if you are taking a long trip etc.

Good overall earphones. Good bass and sound quality. Call quality is also good. Controls very easily with 3 buttons. If you are near an outlet you can keep them running forever if you charge the earphones to 100% and then charge the clip to 100% while using them and repeat. Mine finally gave out when somehow the wire messed up and one ear would go in and out. Don't know how that happened but that's the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. The comfort is about a 4 because I'm not crazy about the fin that hoes in your ear. Uncomfortable for me but it may work for others.

I have owned three sets of wireless headphones and these have the best sound by far. They were also easy to set up and use. I like having the additional battery that can snap on for up to an additional 4 hours of listening. However, it does add some weight and pulls on the headphone when running. I am also concerned that I may lose the battery, which is REQUIRED to charge the headphones. I would give them a 5-star but my first pair mysteriously died during a work-out. I commend Best Buy for their simple exchange policy.

I bought these mainly for work knowning not to expect the longest battery life. My main issue with them is how they fit. For safety reasons at work, I only have one earbud in at a time. Ive tried all four earpieces that come with them, and none of them seem to be able to stay in. Other than that they sound great when you have both in and find your preset or optimum setting on the app eq.

The earbuds have a short battery life on their own meaning the attachable clip battery is needed very often. When the side battery is connected the earbuds are more weighted to one side and put pressure on your ear to stay in place. If you are looking for an earbud that is wireless and very low profile this is a very good option even with the short battery life.

Ear Buds provide great sound. Have easy to work volume and other controls. Have 4 hour onboard battery life with an additional 4 hour battery attachment. Problem is the control/battery weigh heavy on the right earbud and will dislodge from right ear during exercise. Not a problem if you are just chillin’

I'm very uncertain about this product. I love jaybird and all of their products but this particular freedom 2 was not good at all. Battery didn't last but for 30 to 40 mins but the description of the product clearly says they last 4 hours and another 4 hours with portable battery charger which is a total of 8 hours. I don't know if I got a defective model or not but end up returning them for the jaybirds Tarah. Sound quality was excellent and definitely love their jaybird app.

Great sound. The wires tend to stick to your neck a little making it a little hard to keep them in your ears. The sound is great and you have to adjust the wire length to make sure that they are comfortable. Charging system is good and takes a little getting used to in that it is a (included) small rechargeable battery that attaches to the wires at the charging connecting point. Yes I would buy again but it takes a while to figure out the right ear bud sizes and adjusting the wire length. I did buy the compiy noise canceling buds but they will not stay in my ears, these sound good and help cancel outside noise as long as you are sitting still. The weight of the charging system and poor design of the wires hinders the ability of comply ear buds to stay in my ears
