I had expected it to work, I ended up finding an article stating that the IPad wasn't supported but after I purchased it.

The only problem I had was that they kept falling out when I was running, riding my bike. This problem was solved with the jay birds freedom.

Great for the office

My only issue, which is universal, is that the earpods never seem to fit my ears. The "travel case" they give you is kind of horrible. It's a pain to get it closed secure.

The sound is balanced and full, not too bass heavy, but you can hear the bass notes. The treble comes through nicely, without being overly bright. There are enough tips and "wings" included to find the perfect fit. For my ears, I have had the best success not using any of the wings, and using the medium Comply tips.
