Slightly Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a pair of inexpensive headphones that work just fine but I was tired of being attached to the cord. I run 5-6 days a week so I could have really benefitted from going wireless. After A LOT of online research, I decided to get the Jaybird X2's. So...The fit was good using the Comply ear inserts. The earbuds did not move while I was running. I also liked the cord retention system to keep the cord from hitting my next and driving nuts while running. Here is the big downside. The headphones were not compatable with my fitbit or my Strava App. The music constantly skipped. Super irritating. When I contacted Jaybird, they said the headphones were not capable of sharing the wifi with the fitbit. I'm not willing to stop using my fitbit and I like the Strava App to log my run routes. Sadly, I had to return the Jaybird X2's. Back to the old headphones. Bummed cuz I really wanted them to work. If all you have is a phone with music then these would probably work great.

Best sounding IEM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a wireless IEM (in ear monitor) because when I lift my wire on my previous iem would keep on getting cut on my lever belt so. Then i saw a lot of good reviews on how they sound and how they fit. So I got myself a pair. setting it up was kinda hard but was easy after i looked up the how to video on jaybird's website. After that i listened to my music and OMG they sound f*** amazing! I own an ATH M50 (one of the best sounding headphones imo) and these jaybirds are really close or equal to them in term of sound.

Good, high-end headset, but with reservations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The X2 replaced my first generation Jaybird Bluebuds. The build quality is good as usual, so is the sound quality if a bit bright. The bass seekers need to look elsewhere (e.g. Adidas / Monster Adistar). The ear tips that come in the box are ok, which is a shame because what makes or breaks an in-ear headset sound quality is really the fit and comfort of the ear tips. Despite the slight discomfort, I ended up using the largest size silicone tip to achieve good seal, and thus, a properly balanced sound. Addition of the alternate foam tips from Comply is definitely a step towards the right direction, but the tips that come in the package are not the same type that Comply sells for Jaybird separately, which I own that I used with my original Jaybirds to make them perfect. The earwings are stiffer than the ones that came with the original Jaybird. Not sure if that's good or bad yet. I am not a huge fan of the whole thing anyway. Nobody, including Jaybird, has even come close to Bose earwings, so the bar is high. If you can find these on sale at $120 or below they're good value, mostly because there aren't a huge selection of alternatives. At full retail, however, I'd say keep looking.

Great wireless headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these for exercise and sitting at my desk at work. They do a great job of passive noise cancellation AND staying in my ear while running, biking, jumping around like crazy, strength training, etc. Solid product and the 8 hour battery life is a real plus.

Best wireless headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was stuck between the powerboats and the jaybird X2 headphones. I decided to purchase the beats but soon realized that it was overpowered with bass. I did like the over the ear design but I could tell they would soon break and BestBuy did not offer geeksquad protection on them. I then bought the JayBird X2 in the alpha color. Awesome color and very similar design to the previous model. The JayBird X2 offer a great audio experience. The only issue you may encounter is trying to find the right fit with the wings. Ive had issues and have used them without the wings. It is great that they come with memory foam ear tip that offer a nice seal. I would definitely recommend these.

Best bluetooth earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.IMO this is currently the best bluetooth earbuds in the market. The sound is crisp and the new comply eartips that come with the earbuds creates a great seal. I had the bluebuds x before and this is definitely an upgrade from the previous version.

So much better than Powerbeats2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried 2 different pairs of powerbeats2 and the in call quality was horrible because of poor bluetooth range. The only reason for 4 stars rathe than 5 is the lack of base when listening to music. Other than that, these blow the powerbeats away.

Bleh
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My ears are small and these were perfectfor them. Sound quality was great. My only issue was that there wasn't a drop of bass in them when using spotify or anything for that matter. I appreciate the sweat resistant material, but if I can't hear my workout music the way it was meant to be heard then it's not for me.

The answer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read reviews for months and was getting pretty disapointed that all bluetooth earbuds seemed to be flawed. I have owned 2 pairs of beats by dre wireless earbuds and while i absolutley loved them for a time they each broke after about a year and either wouldnt charge anymore and or the volume wouldnt adjust. Clearly a sweat issue since i primarily wore them for gym and yardwork. Customer support was no help since i was out of the 1 year warranty term. I decided to just give up and go back to cheapo headphones but the problem was that the level of audio in those cheapo headphones is a huge drop off! So one day i worked up the bravery/cash to try another type. The Jaybird X2s and jabra pace were on my radar. Lucky for me as i was browsing trying to decide between them a guy walked over who could prob tell i was having trouble deciding and chewed my ear off about how amazing the jaybirds were. Honestly, i didnt believe him after what i had been through but i realized they were on sale and couldnt pass up the emphatic review he gave them with what seemed like very similiar circumstances to my own and the fact that they were on sale. Fast forward to a few months later and hallejujah!!! i am a believer! First of all the audio sounds great. The headphones are super lightweight and comfortable and they do seem much more sweatproof than any other headphone iver ever seen. They connect to my phone lightening fast too! i dont understand how they connect so fast! haha. They are just designed so well. If you can catch these on sale and want high quality dont hesistate to buy them. Theyre worth every penny for sweaty people like myself. haha.

Good sound but fit not secure for running.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried these for a month. Sound quality is good once you get them set up correctly for your ears. No issues with Bluetooth connectivity. Unfortunately the fit is very insecure and the cord always gets caught on my neck, causing them to pull out of my ears. Trail running they are OK for a couple of miles then I usually get so frustrated messing with the things that I end up just putting them in my pocket. Over ear method did not work for me at all, mostly due to the location of the controller. In addition, they cannot be used with most helmets as the helmet presses on the earbuds, apparently preventing them from making much of any sound. Returned this product.

Great earphones for running
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound and battery life, I also like the buttons on the cord, much easier to change songs while you are running. Definite upgrade from the earlier version. I do recommend taking the time to adjust the fit correctly, once you do the earphones stay in very well.

Run don't walk to buy these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like on or over ear headphone but was hunting for a great set of headphones for workout and casual listening. Tried and returned Powerbeats, Plantronics, JBL but either didint fit right or didn't sound quite right or both. On my last try I found these. All I can say is WOW! great sound and battery life (8hrs) with no wires.

Simply the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are simply the best wireless BT ear bud style headphones on the market for anyone who's active or in the gym. They are the only ones that I've found that actually stay in your ear, & sound great. The cord management is by far the best on the market. Battery life is fantastic. Just buy them already.

Second Pair of Jaybirds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I fought the recommendations I had been getting for the first generation of BlueBuds. I should have listened to the promoters. I bought the 1st gen and absolutely loved them for all aspects of listening. I bought the X2 Storms and was confident that they were an improvement over the X1's and they are. I am a very critical person when it comes to music sound quality and noise cancellation. These exceed all of my requirements and I will continue to recommend them to others

Durable. Great earphones!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely worth the price tag. I have tried a lot of cheaper brands in the $30-50 price range and they just did not cut it. I frequently had issues of with one of the earphones cutting in and out or going out completely. I finally decided to just take the hit and spend the money. I am glad I did. They are constructed very well and feel durable. I read many reviews about having issues keeping the buds in place. I will say that you are provided with a lot of different ear bud tips and wings to keep them in place. I run and lift weights without them falling out. I am drenched in sweat and they stay in ear. Of course you may have to make an adjustment here and there as you're working out, but its nothing excessive. I found that the sound quality really is superb. I've read that others have said the sound is "tinny" ....I too experienced a very minor version of this when using spotify. However, the sound quality is amazing when you are listening to music that is actually on your phone's hard drive, or music that you purchase and download. The higher the bit rate, the better the sound quality. These deliver the sound quite well. A big selling point was their life time warranty against sweat. That was really awesome of Jay Bird. These are very comfortable.
