    Great... For some.

The JayBird X2s are a wireless headset that's just ok. The X2's don't get very loud and have little to any bass. If you are just looking for sound quality and low volumes then this is for you, but if you are looking for a wireless headset with a little more bass try a wireless headset with a bigger driver. With this driver being only 6mms you can't really expect much. Overall the headset isn't fit for everyone, the earbud will fall out of your ear or will make your ear hurt of feel very uncomfortable over a little period of time. They are a little bulky but these headphones look amazing. The case and the extra "ear cushions" is a great addition with these earbuds. But for 149.99 I will tell you, you can get a much better wireless earbud set. P.S. If you plan to keep these earbuds and are happy with them then tweak your phones audio settings, it helps a little but makes a difference.

Finally found a Blue Tooth Head Set

I tried several Bluetooth headsets. Some in ear and some over ear. I just wanted decent sound quality. I didn't like the in-ear Yurbuds, the over ear Skullcandy's, or even the over ear Beats Solo2. Of these 3 I thought the Skullcandy set had the best sound, but was way too bulky. A Best Buy sales associate suggest the JayBirds X2 and they are really good. They stay in your ear and sounded surprisingly good for such a small speaker. Would recommend these.

Hands down the best headphones for working out. They are very rugged and can take on sweat no problem. I returned the wireless beats for these.

good headphones, good quality but i had some issues with them. 1. not loud enough 2. the foam tips are great for blocking noise and giving you a good seal which makes music sound better, but if you don't use the included (large) hard case those foam tips will get shredded in your pocket. 3. having to roll the foam tips to get them to seal meant taking them in and out of my ears if i had to a pain. 4. Bluetooth connection issues had to keep my phone on the same side as the control unit otherwise i had cutting out issues. decided to get the bose sound sport wireless and they are far superior in sound quality, noise isolation, fit, quality and ergonomics.

Unfortunately I will be returning my new X2's. I pumped to get them they would not stay in my ears no matter how many variations I tried. My Freedom Sprints were going to be replaced with these but the Sprints fit and sound so much better in my ears.

I was nervous about spending this much on headphones. I tried them out and did not like them at first. I fidgeted with the fit and really like them now. I use them in the gym and like the freedom they give and they do not get in the way.

    "Known Issue..."

    Posted .

The 2 stars are mostly for Jaybird's absolutely horrible support and some for these headphones with a "known issue" according to one of their service techs. Their headphones are okay, but their service is remarkably bad. One of the leading reasons for purchasing these headphones was for their support in the event that the headphones short out due to sweat. This happened twice. First, after 3 months, then again 2 weeks later with the replacement pair. Every single interaction with this company has been an absolute nightmare. There has not been one thing that happened without me following up at least once to push things along. Information will change from one service tech to another and emails will go unanswered unless you call. When you do call, be prepared for a 20 minute plus wait time before they pick up unless you call the last hour they're service department is open in which case they don't answer. Save yourself the time and energy by skipping over the X2's and Jaybird, in general. Here is my last correspondence that was sent a month ago to them when asked about my experience. And, as I thought, they never responded. "My issue was addressed, but the process has been more trouble than I was lead to believe Jaybird could offer. My initial ticket was lost for a month where I had to call to find out what happened. The next step, “cut the cord”, I had to again follow up to see if the picture was received. Only after I called again was it “released”. Part of the reason I purchased Jaybird was for the responsive service in the case of sweat impacting these sport headphones. After my experience, I can not say that I will recommend these to anyone I know. In fact, due to this I steered my sister away from this product when she recently was in the market for headphones to use during running and crossfit. As with my other emails, I’m sure this will go unnoticed since I won’t be calling back to follow up, but, for what it’s worth, this is what I got to experience after purchasing these expensive headphones."

    poor fit

I bought these headphones to eliminate the wire. I'm always finding a way to get the wire stuck on something and yanking headphones out of my ear. The quality seems very good on these headphones. They are very easy to set up and use. However getting them to fit in my ears was an impossible feat. There was no way I could workout with these and expect them to stay in. I returned them and bought the wireless beats. Much better fit and better sound. So if you are like me and have trouble getting earphones to fit in your ears, do yourself a favor and just buy the beats. They are the same price and a much better overall product.

    Good Sound

So after looking and looking for a good pair of headphones I decided on these. I had bought a pair of JBL's refurbished that didn't last long so I was burnt on that brand. These got decent reviews and the store associate said they were the best they had in store. The sound is good but after trying all of the different ear buds none of them stay in my ears while I am working out. This actually makes the sound not as clear and is very annoying when trying to actively work out. They will be going back to the store tonight... Also did not like the storage case, a more pliable bag or case would have been nicer.

    Good, but with flaws

I had high hopes for these earbuds since i've been searching for one with great sound quality, along with the call quality. They're a bit difficult to keep a good seal in your ears, since they keep falling out. It's still the case no matter which size ear tips I've used. My biggest gripe is probably the call quality. I really wanted a good pair of earbuds that would be compact around my head, but also be able to use them for calling. The person on the other end always had trouble hearing me because I either sounded muffled or far away. I hope future generations fix this issue. Otherwise, great product.
