the sound quality is poor no bass . voice high pitch

I did lots of research before choosing my first BT earbuds. I was so eager to try them. But I HATE them! The sound is not as good as my Apple iPhone earbuds. It took many tries to figure out how to connect them to my phone. I was even able to connect them to my laptop. But after they worked a couple of times, I cannot get them to connect AT ALL! They are charged up, I am following all the steps, I've tried on different days at different locations. These things are USELESS. I wish I could return them, but it's been 30 days since I ordered them. I hate them. I should have saved my money. Don't waste yours. My husband bought some $20 BT earbuds and his are great.

Pro: bought on sale. they look nice. They come with a case. Several sizes of earfins and buds. Fairly simple to set up. Cons: my first set would not charge. My second has a very audible whine when connected. Play a song and pause it. You'll see what I mean. Didn't matter what app, the noise is there and very distracting. No matter what earbuds or fins I use, they won't stay in my ears. Poor range. They disconnect or lose quality when only a few feet away from my phone. They don't come with their own charger or a charging dock or anything useful like that. Just a 1 foot long flat micro USB cable.

Two pairs in two weeks!! First pair lasted almost a week then would not turn on. Second pair lasted a little longer and same thing would not turn on. They worked great while they worked, but $179 for one week is not acceptable.

Bought my husband a pair for Valentine's Day and he loved them so we ended up getting a pair for our brother in law too

I bought them for my husband to use while running and going to the gym. He said is the best gift he has ever received.

I consider myself to have given theses a fair assessment, I could not get past the comfort level of them. and the some assembly required part. Jaybird puts great emphasis on their comfort ear pieces, I tried small medium and large, and they all were uncomfortable. They caused me physical pain in my left ear. I am sure I had them in properly both hanging and cord over ear config like their directions say. I tried the silicone ear pieces after the foam ones. Still discomfort and pain. I get that they put in different pieces so they will work for a wider range of people but having 2 different pieces for your ear piece is a bit over the top. I ran 1 mile with these and couldn't take the discomfort anymore had to stop. I packed them back up and took them back. Purchase the BOSE SOUNDSPORTS. I tried these right out of the box they were assembled (their ear piece sizes S/M/L are all 1 piece and feel better made than the jaybirds 2 piece ones you must assemble yourself. all in all do not waste your time, the sound quality was okay however the comfort was crazy bad and their "foam" ear pieces were anythign but comfortable.

Save your money, over priced! Sound quality ok not what I expected from jaybird but most important uncomfortable, irritated my ears and fell out easily. Go with JBL reflect sound quality same and less expensive!

These headphones are pretty nice. They're ear sweatproof to a decent amount. Don't fall out of ears too much.

If you want a pair of severely overpriced earbuds that fail after less than 6 months, from a company that ignores all of your attempts to resolve the issue, then these are definitely the earbuds for you. I received a pair of these as a birthday gift from my girlfriend in May when they still cost $150 a pair. The Best Buy store sales rep told her they were the best, but I assume, if the sales reps make any commission, he probably just sold her on the most expensive pair available simply because she was a female who doesn't know electronics. I really loved them from the get-go and used them daily at work, but this lovely gift abruptly turned into a $150 bundle of scrap electronics that's worth maybe a few cents now. I've attempted to contact the manufacturer about the problem, but so far have not spoken to any of their support reps. I've emailed 3 times and received no reply, I've called and never gotten off hold, I've attempted using the chat feature on their own website and have received no reply there either. I don't know if anyone else has had the same issues with the manufacturer, but they have definitely lost any chance of me or my girlfriend being return patrons. After doing some research on Jaybird, I see that their poor product quality is not a new thing, but I have read mostly positive things about their customer service, which has left me really aggravated and confused as to why I have yet to speak with anyone from their support department. I have no clue how Jaybird hasn't had a lawsuit brought against them yet.

Here it is is simple terms. Bought a pair of X2's they took a little getting used to. Low volume and difficult to mange in the ears. after a month or so I did. Then a few months later... they died. I chatted with cust support (that is important, we'll come back to that later) and they were a good company and sent me a new pair if I sent the old ones back. Oh by the way, cust support said I charged them too much. They only have around 300 charges in their life. :( Anyway, new pair, worked fine.... for about 4 months. Then new ones died as well. Frustrated and not getting anywhere with cust support.... Why? Because their chat feature and "phone lines are down". For how long, they don't know. So emailing back and forth, "Grace" tells me that I need to try resetting them, blah blah blah. So I go buy a new pair of Freedoms. Problem solved right????? Well, I bought them on Monday, charged them and used them on tues, no issue. Wed, they cut off and died 28 min into use. Went to use X2's as a back us as I had brought them back from the days days earlier.... nope, they want to stay asleep as well. Brought the Freedoms back to life on Wed afternoon and used them Thurs morning. They coughed up blood and died 20 min into use. Have been frantically trying to get in touch with Jaybird to talk about this..... crickets. What is the moral of this story?..... I wouldn't buy Jaybird products. You just read why.

Great earphones while on the run! User friendly set-up! Worth every penny!

The sound quality of these are good. The only thing that isn't good about these is that they slowly fall off my ears. They don't stay in there for long.

As a runner these headphones are not that great, as I started to sweat they tend to slide out of my ear. The fin did not hold them in place.

Something has be done with the design to add a clip or something to prevent these ear buds from falling off during a run, bike or climb. I have lost two sets of these ear buds less than two weeks after purchase. I lost the first pair rock climbing and the second pair after stopping during a run and not putting them back in for a couple of miles. I went back on the trail but they must have fallen into rocks or weeds and I could not locate them.

Jaybird products were good initially, but the warranty and customer service are awful. The first pair I bought from Bestbuy with a lifetime warranty started to fail to charge. When I contacted customer support, they said that their lifetime warranty actually meant three years and then they wouldn't replace it. I bought a second pair, and it failed within two years, and this time they said that they could not replace it because, although it was purchased using Amazon Prime, the seller was not an authorized reseller. I've been wronged twice through the company's lifetime warranty and am very disappointed, since each time the headphones cost around $150. And given that I needed to use the warranty twice means that their product is not as indestructible as they lead you to believe.
