Fantastic sound, better fit than Freedom F5

I have been on a bluetooth headphone journey. I started with skullcandy method wireless and was satisfied, not blown away, until my dog devoured them. By then my headphone needs had grown from a use them when I work out or audiobooks to full time hardly ever take them off use them for everyrhing: music, audiobooks, work phone calls, movies, and games. I needed something of a do-it-all setup so I wanted to invest in a quality set. First up were the freedom f5, because they were on sale for 50. Great sound, but the weight of the battery in the module below the right ear drove me nuts. And 4 hour battery life without the additional cradle couldnt cut it for me. Next up were Sony xbass over the ears. Great sound (though not as good) and they'd never fit under a motorcycle helmet. Up next were samsung uflex. These filled all my needs on a daily use - having a samsung phone they pair as a samsung accessory, not just another device, the earbuds are small enough a helmet will fit over my head, and the battery life is good. However, the around the neck part was large and heavy and would fall off while working out, so that one had to go. I tried these after reading the design was somewhat different from the f5 in that the weight on the piece below your right ear was not as severe, and finally I've found the sweet spot. They weigh almost nothing and no amount of running or lifting has managed to dislodge them yet. They are LOUD and the jaybird app is fantastic for customizing your sound, every bit as good as the f5 in my opinion, and the battery life is great at 8ish hours. Calls have so far been fine. The only issue is the charging cradle design...i know it's only a matter of time before I forget or lose it, but thats the only blemish on an otherwise outstanding set of buds I use all day, everyday.

So this is my 3rd pair since aug 2017 this is a love hate relationship the only reason why I got them because you can adjust the EQ where as the rest of the Things aren't worth it ! The battery doesn't last as long as 8 hrs they cut out fast barely made it 2 weeks without having problems ! For 120$ you're spending on them they are worth 40$ Not even! Right side let out a big white noise and never worked again . They turn off after 80 60 or 40% of battery ! Such junk!

These headphones just wouldn't stay in my ears and the bass was pretty weak. The option to download custom equalizer settings is pretty cool though

These sound good but don't fit the ear right. They constantly fell out while running. Didn't matter the size I tried.

Returned this product. Great sound but they are the biggest ear buds I have ever put in. Even with the small ear pieces they were too big

    Finally released by Jaybird!

These are most likely the best wireless headphones on the market. The earbuds are slightly smaller than the X2s (although they still protrude from your ears somewhat). My LG Tone Platinums are my everyday buds and these give them a run for their money. The bass is much better on the X3's without washing out the highs and midtones. The My Sound app that allows you to change the equalizer settings (either to a large selection of predefined settings or your to own custom settings) is what sets this apart from the X2s and in a big way. Changes that you make to the settings can radically change the sound - and the changes are saved to the earbuds so that you don't lose the settings if you pair them to a different device. I was originally skeptical considering that Jaybird first announced these in February at CES and then they finally released them close to November. This means that they are already antiquated. But it appears that between then and now they have made some modifications including slimming down the earbuds. I expected them to be released minimally at the X2 price point and was pleasantly surprised that they were priced much more competitively. For $129 these are great earphones and blow away the more expensive Freedoms (which I tried and returned). If you have the X2s these are a worthy upgrade. If you are using anything else then I think it's a no brainer to purchase the X3s as a replacement.

These are rather decent headphones. But if you pay a few more bucks, you can get a significantly better brand and sound quality.

This product worked great for the first 30 days. Then the headphones would only turn on when plugged in. So much for wireless. The Jaybird customer service is making me wait 2-3 weeks for replacement. This is my third pair of Jaybird Headphones. I had 2 pairs of X2 and when they went out the customer service was great. This new policy; I will be with headphones for 30 days and then without them for 30 days. I am officially no longer a Jaybird customer.

I saw the ratings for the headphones and decided to try them. They were comfortable and adjustable. Two issues for me: I don't need super loud audio, but even at the loudest setting, it wasn't quite enough to hear details unless I was in a totally quiet space. The microphone would pick up any movement/or bouncing of the cable connecting the two earpieces--it was just too distracting. I returned them, but I haven't tried anything else yet.
