Everything I was looking for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just started going to the gym again a few months ago so I just bought a pair of Bluetooth ear buds from ebay. They turned out to decent but weren't loud enough. I decided I would invest in a nice pair and these are the ones I chose based on the research I did. I couldn't be happier. They fit perfect, great battery life, and you can customize your sound via an app. Highly recommended.

Awesome bluetooth headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got these and am very pleased with my purchase. It will take you a little time to figure out the best feel for you and how you want to wear them (over the ear or under the ear) but once you get that set you will be pleased! :) ********YOU NEED THE JAYBIRD APP!!******* When I connected mine and started playing music the sound was dull. I then downloaded the APP and started making my own preset sounds and what a world of difference. They have very nice bass and treble. The sound is clear and I have had no distortion from rock-r&b-pop and country. I wear mine under the ear because I'm a sweater and didn't want the buttons on the back of my head. The hanging below the ear also helps keep them more dry even though they are water resistant. I did weight training with them as well as running on the treadmill and they worked flawlessly! After you figure out the buttons it is easy to go to the next track, repeat the last song and use your volume as well. I haven't used it for a phone call yet but I'm in the gym not on a conference call...haha. Anyway for the price you cannot beat these! They were ranked #2 for top bluetooth headphones under $200.00. The Bose we listed #1 and were about $70 more. I cannot comment on those because I don't own them but I am definitely hooked on my Jaybird X3's!!!

Great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I lost my Samsung Gear Circle headphones and had to replace them. After trying the Beats Pro bluetooth, and returning them, I tried these out. They have been great. I've used them with the ear wings and without, and have tended to use them without more often. They stay in well when walking or on an elliptical and sound great. Phone calls on them have worked well too. I have never had anyone comment about the call quality. I like that I can get replacement ear covers and wings for these, unlike some other pairs of headphones. The only downsides I have for these is the battery life and proprietary charger. I wish the battery lasted longer. If using regularly during the day, tough to get much more than a full day. For the charger, you have to keep that around in case you need to charge. I would definitely recommend these.

Best Wireless Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had experiences with a huge range of headphones, from HD598's, bose soundsports wired, bose qc20, solo 2's, and powerbeats 2. The Jaybird X3's are definitely the most comfortable earbuds of them all, and surprisingly the quality was better than all headphones I've tried excluding 598's, which i expect those cans to be superior quality to any earbuds. It does take a while to adjust the cord length to the proper fit and find the right tips for your ears. I went with the foam medium tips and the small hooks (wearing over ear). After finding the right combination for comfort and quality, i decided to test them out in the gym. Got a few miles on the treadmill and a good hour of lifting in. The headphones didn't become loose once. The App is definitely a huge advantage giving you the option to adjust the equalizer for different genres of music. This was my first Jaybird purchase and I am a firm believer that they put out a top quality product at a fraction of the costs of overpriced brands on the market.

Great Bluetooth Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headphones, use them everyday. Decent battery life and are great fit over ear as recommended. They do not fall out. Also good bass and volume. Only con is sometimes sound may chop up if i place my phone in my jacket pocket but it may be interference. Fixes when i pull phone out. Hold good distance of connection. Also packaging come with nice little sticker. :-)

Very Satisfied
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research when I began looking for Bluetooth headphones. I wanted the best all around. Over the ear didn't seem feasible for working out, tho very practical elsewhere, however I eliminated that style first. In searching I came across Jaybird. I was unfamiliar. I knew about Bose and Beats, but not Jaybird. Unfortunately when I finally made my mind up to get Jaybirds, they were sold out everywhere...which was actually a good sign to me....but I was tired of waiting and figured I'd go ahead and get some headphones, they can't all be that different, especially with the likes of Bose and Beats. #Wrong I ultimately bought them all: Bose Soundsport Wireless, Powerbeats 3, and finally Jaybird X3. First off, extremely disappointed in Bose. Comfort is good, sound is sub-par, in a bad way. Was very very surprised in that. Bose were bad enough that I easily decided I would stick with the Powerbeat 3's. sound was there, comfort not so much but I could deal. Then, I happened to still be searching for jaybirds and found them restocked in some Best Buy's! Purchased right away. After dueling it out with Bose and Beats, and settling with Beats, these Jaybirds blew me away. They sound amazing. You can adjust the sound with the app. They're comfy and have multiple applications. Look no further.

Great earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I had the powerboats the wired ones and then the powerboats 2 which i loved them that's why I hesitated before getting those. I got rid of my powerboats 2 waiting for the powerboats 3 to come out and was planning on getting them on Black Friday but found those on sale so I got them to try them out and if I don't like them I will take them back and till now they're still with me :) The sound is nice out of the box but if you wanna change anything the MySound application will do the work for you. I used to compare anything to the beats regarding the sounds quality and the Base amount, I mostly listen to EDM, and these are amazing. You can change anything you want with a pre-made settings on the application and they work great. Battery life is nice so far, Been using hem on and off since I got them for music and calls and till now I didn't have to charge them. Fitting wise, I miss the ear hooks with the Beats but the wings actually keep them in place while walking around the mall for 5 hours to buy stuff on Black Friday just find the right fit for you, that's the key. SO basically, it was the best decision I made regarding buying headphones was to got those. I still have the powerboats 1 and the jaybird x2 but those and the ones that go with me everywhere.

Things to know before you buy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had these headphones for six months and waited to offer an accurate review. Pros: - If you use the foam buds instead of the rubber buds, the sound is amazing! Best I've heard when compared to Beats (both over the ear and sports buds) and other listening devices. - The suggested app to download helps when wanting to customize your listening experience and with telling you exactly how much battery life is remaining. - If you spend the time to properly place the ear wings and the strap sliders for when you want to wear it in "sports mode" is well worth it. These will not fall out during a workout/run. Cons: - Wearing them for more than an hour and a half can hurt your ears. To be fair though, I do have sensitive ears. - Unless you're using the app, you can't tell what the actual battery life is since it rounds off to the nearest 20th percent. - Specialized charger. While you can use a mini usb cable, it still has to get plugged into a small adapter piece that is specific to the headset. - Music skips. This is what forces me to give a two-star review. If your music source (phone, iPod, etc.) is placed in your pocket as you're walking around in the outside world, the music will most definitely skip and sometimes drop out altogether. I originally thought I had a defective unit. But, when the headset was replaced, it was the same reoccurring problem. When I contacted Jaybird, they said that the replacement headset passed their quality assurance tests and that I should check my music source. I was using a Galaxy Note 5 and then an iPod touch 5 to play my music. It was the same issue between both devices. I never had this issue with other wireless headset devices. However, when I workout, if I place my phone or iPod in an armband, the music plays smoothly. I also don't experience this problem if I place my phone or iPod in my backpack. But then I have to take off my backpack each and every time I need to access them. Very annoying and frustrating! So, unless you plan on either carrying your music device in your hand while walking around or your backpack or wearing it in an armband while playing music, you're gonna be super upset. It is the best sounding headset I've heard by far, but it's not easy to use.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are very good. The sound is good but can be improved with customizable sound profiles. For workouts most of the time they seem to stay in just fine. battery life seems to be good as well. Overall great value.

Great Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very hesitant to buy these headphones after reading reviews critical of the inline controls being heavy and awkward. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased them and I am so glad I did. I have the X2, with which I was very pleased. However, the X2 did not have the best ear canal fit. I had to remove the fins because they did not sit well in my ears. I did buy the Comply Premium foam tips, which provided very good fit and stability. I read the reviews about the X3 having great sound and improved fit, so I decided to get the X3. The sound is amazing right out of the box. I mean the difference between X2 and X3 is unreal. I thought the X2 had good sound, but there is no comparison to the X3, and it blows the X2 out of the water. The fit is perfect as well. I can use the fins because they are slightly oriented more forward to fit the contour of the outer ear. My biggest concern was the inline controller being big and heavy, but it is actually feels lighter than the X2. It is larger, but it does not interfere with my workouts. I also like that the cord is shorter than the X2, so it fits around my neck perfectly. Overall, anyone on the fence about purchasing these, DO IT! You will not regret it!

Awesome In-Ear Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones after much research online. I couldn't be happier. The Comply Sport tips are comfortable and really help the headphones stay put during running, cycling and other activities. The Jaybird My Sound App also lets you change the bass and treble settings for the type of music you are listening to. Well worth the money!

BEST Bluetooth earbuds for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm just going to say that I have had these for about a week now, and they have to be one of the greatest pair of earbuds I have ever used. Once you actually try on all the sized ear tips and wings and find your perfect fit, they are just amazing. The sound is unbelievably clear and detailed with good bass, mids and lows. I feel like I'm wearing studio headphones sometimes while listening to these small earbuds. I think these are the best earbuds for the price. If you own the freedoms, or x2s I think they are a very worth upgrade. Only downside I see with them is trying them on for the first time. It took me a while figuring out which tips and wings to use and the instructions that come with them are not to clear but once you get that figured out it's all fine. An amazing 8 hour battery life btw. All in all if you are looking for good wireless earbuds, go with these. By far the best quality earbuds you can get for this price.

Fantastic Bluetooth Heaphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a replacement for my horseshoe-style LG 810 Ultra headphones, which were serviceable but wanted something new & improved. I initially shyed away from the Jaybird X3 due to the proprietary charging system, but I regret my delay. I even waited until the eventual rollout of the Beats X, which I ultimately returned because the sound quality was only incrementally better than my LG 810s (and didn't care for the necklace style fit), and couldn't justify the $149 price tag. The sound quality of the X3s surpasses any other bluetooth earbuds I've ever heard. Customizing an optimal fit takes some trial, error, and patience, but the X3s include enough options (3 sizes of fins, 3 sizes of both silicone and Comply Foam tips) to eventually give you an optimal fit. The MySound app provides the ability to customize the sound signature of the headphones, with plenty of pre-set options by fellow app users. I use these with a full face motorcycle helment for my daily 50-mile round trip commute, and they effectively drown out wind noise. I am very happy with these headphones, and would recommend to all.

Great Wireless Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really unsure about purchasing these earbuds because my sales guy at Best buy said he had an older pair and he did not care for them, he recommended the Bose , problem is Bose limits the volume on all the ear buds and sometimes I want to crank em up, I bought the Bose wireless anyway and sure enough the volume had a limit so I brought them back the next day, another salesman turned me on to a pair that was half the price of the Bose and they were really bad so they went back, I went over to the earbud aisle and looked at those JayBird X3's again and I pulled the trigger, I got them home and down loaded the free app, paired them to my iphone and was amazed at the quality of the sound, the app is a necessity because it raises the volume and the EQ , you can create your own sound or choose from hundreds of presets, I've actually had to turn the volume down on my phone a bit but man these buds really sound great , I really like them and they are perfect for working out at the gym , I enjoy road biking and not having wires hanging down by my knees is a good thing , I recommend the Jaybird X3's.

Delighted I picked them up!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been anxiously awaiting the release of the Beats X. However, after Apple blew the release date and now not available for months, I started looking at alternatives. Came across the X3s and picked them up day before yesterday. Since then, I haven't been able to put them down. Have worn them to 24hr to workout twice, Indoor and outdoor runs and simply using them to, get this, TALK on my iPhone (what a concept, right?). They are fantastic with respect to sound, fit and the app works very well. Admittedly, I have only fiddled around with the app to create two profiles but it's pretty darn cool. I read some negatives about fit and someone complaining about it taking a bit of time to fit them. Well, yes, you have to try a couple of combinations to get to perfect fit. It's like shoes, right, Nike fits different than ASICS...so, yeah, you have to see what fits. A silly complaint in my opinion. But let's not that take away from the great fit and performance of these headphones. Glad Apple blew it on the Beats X release. The Jaybird X3s are great and are more cost effective. My 2 cents. Greg T.

Spectacular in all respects!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The X3 is a great wireless headset! Purchased a Plantronics Legend somewhere else for my iPhone. Legend had a strange hiss. Then, I saw all the great reviews on the new X3. I've got a music quality headset that also works to answer calls. Very comfortable after using the right earbud inserts for me. And Love the MySound Equalizer app. Jaybird X3 is a Dream Come True for me! i recommend the X3 100%.

Perfect for workouts and busy campus life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first, I was not very impressed with the headphones. With my first purchase I had bought a defective pair. They sounds muted and scratchy and skipped around my music. About a week after receiving them, I decided that there was no way this was just how these headphones sounded and I took them back to BestBuy to return them. They were quick to be understanding and offered me to try another pair. I took the chance because I really wanted a good pair of running headphones that would also be easily carried by a student on campus. Once I received the second pair, they were perfect! Honestly the best headphones I've owned and extremely convenient. I was worried that they would not provide ear pieces small enough to fit in my small ears, but the smalls they provided were perfect and I don't know what I would do without the headphones for my workouts and campus life! They don't even slightly slip out of your ear and they are extremely comfortable.

Great with a few minor gripes.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not an audiophile but these are the best sounding headphones I've owned. Battery life is also a great balance between being lightweight and lasting long enough. Build is also awesome. Now for some complaints: -The earbud tips fall off SO easy. I've been super careful and already lost one. -I don't like the optional hook things and there's a little ridge that locks them on. Depending on how my headphones are sitting in my ear this ridge can cause some discomfort. -i wish the Bluetooth range was slightly longer -I wish I could plug directly into the headphones rather than the clip on charger. Those gripes aside they've been awesome. Highly recommended.

Awesome In-ear Headphone with quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a great Earphone in my experience for the 2018 thanks giving price with few cons. Pros: # The sound is amazing and comparatively good in my opinion. # Same song can be heard in different custom notes when using EQ presets. # Nice Passive noise cancellation # Battery life as stated or 40mins more. # Not bulky as bose sound sport or sony Xtra bass earphones. Cons: # Fit - sometimes i need to adjust the earphones while running or during weight exercise and its difficult to use over-ear fit. # the voice assistant is considerably loud even after firmware upgrade.
