I purchased my headphones and loved them. After about 8 months of use I encountered an issue where the red light would always remain on even if the headphones were turned off. I read the forums on jaybird and found others with this issue. Tried troubleshooting and nothing worked. I contacted jaybird about getting a replacement since they are still under warranty. At the first response the customer service rep didn't address the issue I wrote about. After over a week they agreed to send me a new pair using a label they created. This was about 10 days before my marathon and I didn't want to risk not getting a new pair by then. They told me they could speed up the process if I took pictures of my headphones and cut them in half so they could no longer be used and they'd ship me a new pair. Over 8 days after sending the pictures I still have heard anything. Terrible customer service, I will never purchase from jaybird again.

They sound good and the battery last a long time. They are comfortable

I bought these to replace my LG wireless headphones that stopped working. I went with these based on some online reviews from a few different reputable websites stating that these had the best sound quality amongst wireless headphones (earbud style). After trying these out I must say that they blow my LG headphones and my buddy's Powerbeats 2 out of the water! I couldn't believe how nice these sounded and the bass is really good when you change the eq settings in the app. Speaking of the app, they have a ton of different presets available for you to choose from or you can play with it on your own to get just the right sound for you. The only thing I could say might not be a positive is the way they fit. While not too bad, they just aren't quite as comfortable as the LG's were.

These headphones are a great pickup for anyone looking for a good workout/activity based headphone. They fit extremely well, tune out outside sounds very well and extended listening(3 to 4 hours) is easy.

These are my first running bluetooth headphones, so I can't really compare them to other bluetooth/fitness activity ones. I experienced some difficulty with them staying on at first. But I have found the best fit with time. The soft/expandable inserts also help them stay on. Once they're in, they are quite comfortable. As far as sound I would say they are ok, not great. (Again, comparing to my previous non-Bluetooth headphones, which have better sound than bluetooth). Pretty happy with them overall, and with what I paid.

This is my second pair of Jaybirds. I was not expecting them to be as good as they are. The X3s are on sale right now. Worth the extra money to go wireless. No cords and they are comfortable. They won't fall out if you fit them right so don't listen to any of the reviews that they fall out. The app as not the greatest but is much better at an equalizer than the standard iPhone settings. The more you drive them though, the quicker the battery runs out. Just keep that in mind. As an add, buy the mophie charge case to go with these! You get both for the price of the retail of the X3s.

The Jaybird X3 headset is extremely customizable both for sound and wearability. The accessories make possible to configure you headset for comfort and functionality. With the Jaybird app it is possible to setup multiple custom sound profiles for your listening pleasure that can be easily switched between. Also, the app allows for you to locate your headset if you missplaced them at work or home. Battery life is pretty good (8h of listening) and they charge quickly. The design for charging allows for a smaller comfortable headset, but does require a specialty connection for charging. Extra accessories are cheap if you choose to get more.

The earbuds sound amazing, are really durable, hold a good charge and charge really fast, are customize able via the JayBird app, etc. I would definitely buy these again

If you want a set of wireless headphones for working out these are great. Sound: Excellent Fit: Excellent (I recommend watching the videos on finding the right fit. I tried to fit them without watching and almost returned them because they were falling out. After finding the right earpiece and wing, they were so secure that I had to adjust them so that they were less in place.) Price: A little steep but you get what you pay for. Falling out: After working out for an hour, running for 2 miles and shooting around, I am pleased to say that they stayed in the entire time. I would definitely recommend these!

Purchased these headphones back in December to use mostly for running, The fit is great, the sound is great but.... Cation. Do not lose the charger. I lost the charger and cannot find a replacement charger anywhere. Jaybird support is no help. The charger is a clip that is unique to these headphones, so if you lose it you are out of luck.

These buds have great comfort and battery life. The sound quality is as good as you can expect from bluetooth. My girlfriend steals mine all the time.

The jaybird earbuds have been great. Comfortable, great battery life and they stay in no matter how hard I am working out.

I was hesitant at first to buy these headphones because so many "sweatproof" headphones have failed me. As someone who runs on the treadmill a lot during the winter season, it is annoying to constantly have to fix headphones that refuse to stay in my ears. These are the first and only headphones I found that do not fall out when I get sweaty/run faster/etc. The sound gets fairly loud, and they are super easy to use with a great battery life. Highly recommend! I've only had them a week and they are worth every penny.

With both the X and X2 not having been the best fit, I can finally say that these are it. I no longer have to use the comply tips to get a secure fit as the silicone tips finally work great. The sound quality is improved over the X2 thanks to a better low end. The mids and highs are nice and crisp and not over the top like the X2 was. You get a nice balanced sound regardless of what music you're enjoying. The app allows you to customize the EQ if you wanna be super picky but the signature setting works just fine.

Sound quality is great and if you download the jaybird app you can adjust the eq settings. My only problem with them is the battery dies quicky, but makes up for it with a super fast charge. They stay in my ears while working out. When you turn them on and off the voice is obnoxious. I almost returned them because of that.

I just switched from my old Blue Ant Pump headphones to the Jaybird X3's. Wow,what a difference! It did take me about an hour to figure out which size ear buds to use and which fins fit best, and to adjust the strap...but it was worth it! The sound is incredible and they stay put through all my workouts including boxing and jumping rope. And I like the app, as well as that it tells me how much battery life is left. No more guessing. That is so helpful. Very glad I bought these. Worth the price.

Coming off a great experience with the original Jaybird Spirits, I figured if I'm going to upgrade I stay within the family. Being that battery life was a factor for me, I decided to buy the X3 (8hr battery life.) I bought these twice - I returned them because the sound was incredibly flat. I almost sounded as if it had no life. I re-bought them when I learned there's an app that allows you to customize the EQ. No matter which EQ I used, however, the sound still sounded flat to me. I even further customized the bass preset, which worked well, but once you start shuffling music into different genres you soon realize it isn't sufficient. I also recommended the Freedom F5 to a colleague thinking they would solid workout headphones. Unfortunately, he's also told me about about average sound quality. I recently told him about the EQ app, not sure if has returned them, or if he is sticking by them.

These are the best headphones I've ever owned, period. That includes wired and wireless, over head, cans, everything. The best part is the jaybird app that lets you customize the sounds to meet exactly how YOU listen. Add to that the X3 charges fairly quickly, and a full charge easily gets me thru a full day at work. The only down side is that they're not indestructible, and EVENTUALLY I'll have to but another pair....but no time soon!

I bought this as a recommendation from a Best buy employee and I just wanted to try them out without thinking about keeping them but as soon as I tried them, I'll never go back from this. I love the sound quality, way better than the sound on the beats X which I had before this ones and it's very light weight and comfortable. It has an app you can download on your smart phone and you can customize your music how ever you want to. Love it!!!

I had tried out a pair of the Samsung level actives for running and they would fall out of my ear constantly and cut in and out. So I went into my local best buy and talked to one of the employees and they recommended these so I exchanged the levels for the x3 and I am so glad I did! They sound amazing, don't fall out of my ear at all and don't cut in and out. Perfect workout headphones and they come with adjustable straps and extra wings and buds for a perfect fit.
