Amazing for wireless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my very first pair of wireless of headphones and let me tell you...they are the best in my opinion. Previously had the Bose Ultrasport but they began started to fade out (after 2 years) and the Jaybirds knock those out of the park hands down.

Great sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This by far has been one of the best headsets that I had. I've got only used it on the treadmill but also on the sana and have had no problems with it whatsoever. The app also allows you to control the sound so you are clearly in control.

MAJOR FLAW
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy this product! First, I must say that I wanted to love these. I have had 2 previous models of Jaybird headphones and these looked pretty cool. I love the app that comes with them - customizing the sound is an awesome enhancement and something I used initially when I got them. The sound is amazing too. HOWEVER, after normal athletic usage for less than 2 months I started to get static in the left ear. The crackling that started is major and clearly a problem. The charging seems to be intermittent too, as sometimes it would light up and sometimes would not. The response I got from Jaybird Support was to do a factory reset. That didn't work, so now I have to mail them back because I didn't buy the Best Buy protection plan. I didn't think I would have to buy that for a product that costs $130 and has a warranty! I Googled the issue, and apparently there are a LOT of other Jaybird customers like me - static in the left or right bud, instructed to do a factory reset which is useless, and then disappointment. Don't buy these....bummed!

Great Overall Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the X2"s, now I'm all about the X3"s. Jaybird has really improved the headphones overall since the previous generations, but it does not mean the X2's are not worth looking into. The X2"s first retailed at about $180 which was a pretty steep price for some people. the newer Jaybird Freedoms were even more expensive at the premium $200 price point. You would expect the X3"s to follow suit but they don't. They retailed them at $130! The Mysound app was also a big plus for anyone complaining about the X2"s not having enough bass. My only gripe about the headphones is the charging method. As of the release of the review, there is no way to replace the charging cradle that comes with the headphones. But for me that is not a turn-off. Overall i think that these are excellent headphones and that they are something that anybody will enjoy.

Great out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just received these and they are so great, for me it was between the jaybirds and the powerbeats 3 and these are much better. My brother has beats and they aren't as good and they are so much more the price difference isn't worth it.

Best workout headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My powerbeats wireless broke in less than a year. After that, I know I'm not going back to beats. I bought this because it was the next best thing. Now, it is the best wireless earphones in the market in my opinion.

Awesome earphones with a great app and community.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The different eq creations really elevate these earbuds to a whole different level because they allow you to hear whole different ranges of volume, bass, treble and all of the other settings you can mess with.

Great Sound...when there is sound.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounded great out of the box. I had to return both pairs due to poor signal. I wore these in the over the ear configuration and the sound would cut out while running. My old Jaybirds worked just fine. I think this is an issue due to relocating the Bluetooth to the inline control. Sorry Jaybird fix this issue and I will gladly purchase another pair.

X2: Sonic Pleasure, Short Life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll need to check more reviews on the X3, but if the X2 is representative I won't be upgrading to the X3s. Love the fit and sound (both better than PowerBeats) but they only lasted 8 months before the battery had issues. Customer service replied with suggestions, but nothing worked. Online I learned that I could plug in a portable USB charger to shock them back into action, but this only worked for 3 months. #EpicTechFail

Wait for an updated model
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a love hate relationship with my X3s. Pros: - Sound quality along with the My Sound app are awesome! The X3s outperform (sound quality wise) my other earbuds which cost $200-$300. - I like how I am able to adjust the cord so that it rests against the back of my head so there's no cable bounce while I'm jumping rope. Cons: - Battery life is horrible. I fully charged my X3s before going to bed and about 16 hours later, they were down to 80%. On average, the battery life lasts about 4 hours Unless you constantly have access to a power outlet, forget about using the X3s for travel or commuting. - The BT signal range is only good for about 15 feet with a clear line of sight. For example, I place my phone down when I'm working out because I don't want a brick strapped to my arm or body while sports training. If anything is blocking my line of sight to my phone, then there is the possibility that the signal could cut in and out on occasion and I'm not necessarily talking about a wall. Even a narrow pole could disrupt the signal. My testing conditions: Gym and I'm usually the only person in there. I will update this review as I feel is needed.

Works perfectly fine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The buds work perfectly fine and I haven’t had any problems so far as much as the sound and physical appearance goes. The only thing I have noticed is that the battery does not last as much as promised maybe only half. This might because I’ve had them for a while but even in the beginning the most they’ve ever lasted was 6 hours out of the promised 8 and now only 4. If this bug could be fixed or a manual for charging it to help teach its capacity would be appreciated.

Poor range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not sure why the Jaybird X2 and these have such high reviews, but the Bluetooth range on them are absolutely horrid. The moment you put your phone in, for example, your side or back pocket, the audio will cut in and out constantly. If you do a web search for "Jaybird X3 Connection" you will come across their official forum of other users having the same problem. I loved the X2, despite the issue explained in this review, so I bought the X3, only to return them days later because the issue is still not resolved. I sincerely hope that the X4 will have this fixed. Third time's a charm, right? For reference, I have tested these earbuds, all having the same issue, on an iPhone 6S, OnePlus 3T, and 2015 Moto X Pure Edition.

Very Disappointed After Reading Customer Reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones after receiving a great recommendation from a friend and after reading all of the great reviews online. When I received the headphones, the instructions themselves on how to assemble the ear pieces was super confusing. After finally assembling, I started to use these everyday at the gym. The reason for purchasing these is because I read they were sweat proof and great for very active workouts. Being someone that works out 6 days a week, this is just what I needed. Boy was I wrong. These headphones are constantly falling out of my ears during my interval sprints on the treadmill. I thought the little ear wings would help, but they definitely do not. I spend most of my workouts adjusting the headphones so they stay in my ear. Now, in additon to this, the actual silicone earpiece is constantly falling off or gets stuck in my ear. This happens now during every single workout. I’ve replaced the earpieces multiple times to no avail. I wish I could return these but with Best Buy’s strict policy, I can’t. I’m now using my original Apple headphones with the cord since these never cause me issues.
