Customer Ratings & Reviews

JBL is a trusted brand and truly lives up to it. The sound bar enhances the listening experience. Extremely happy with this purchase and may even buy another one in the future for out 2nd tv.

The sound bar is great quality, especially the Dolby atmos but the setup was slightly confusing. At times the audio settings change but issue resolves itself shortly after. The ability to change the bass level on the subwoofer is great and works good with the soundbar. Even with the volume all the way up the sounds is still great.

Easy setup and great sound. Love the bass and voice quality it gives off when watching a movie. JBL also has a nice app and with apple play the streaming music can fill the room.

This JBL soundbar has amazing sound, and talk about Bang for your buck, you can't beat this soundbar for the price. I Would definitely recommend this soundbar to anyone who wants Great sound at an affordable price. Cheers!

Sound effects of the bass in my basement Nothing so far I don’t like

This is the best subwoofer I've purchased from best buy. The sound quality is superb

Great soundbar. We were looking for deeper broader sound. So we bought the MK2 1000 JBL soundbar w removable side speakers for surround sound experience. Still a very amazing experience..

Perfect for my space. I have a rather open living room and this provides great sound while keeping the voices very clear.

What a great system! True movie theater feel with thunderous bass and sound feels like it comes from multiple directions. Also music sounds amazing. Very happy with the purchase

The sound on this thing is AMAZING! And I mean that! Easy to setup. Definitely worth the money and if you're looking for a soundbar that is going to be legit good.

Very substantial volume and bass. There's a little fluctuation in volume between scenes or medium (switching from gaming to TV, or a scene with explosions etc) but overall a great purchase.

This JBL BAR 500mk2 soundbar system is amazing the clarity and bass are perfect. The app is user friendly and works great. If you’re looking to buy a soundbar system this is the one.

Awesome bass... I enjoy watching my movies now ...can't wait for the weekend

Absolutely amazing addition to our living room that put the added surround sound we was looking for

Excellent sound, it is more powerful than JBL1000, because of the most part of the power of JBL1000 is on the sub woofer

Good sound. Easy programming. Love the equalizer of 7 bands. Love the JBL app. Love the simple and short remote. Excellent price. I recommend this soundbar dearly.

Once it was set up, we love the sound. We replaced a 10 year old Samsung home theater system that is starting to fail. This new JBL system bring out voices well, gives a rich and full sound especially for movies. The bass was a bit overpowering in our 15x25 ft room with the standard settings, but was easily adjusted with the equalizer settings on my phone. The setup however from the quick guide failed. The software update stopped and while bluetooth and optical cable gave sound, it had to be set up every time the set was turned off. I had to call the number found in the registration email to go further. Even with tech help it took 40 minutes to get things working. The only set up that finally worked was to put my fire stick in the input port of the sound bar, download manually the JBL app from the play store and use the add feature on the app. I also had to go into my 1 year old Samsung tv settings turn off the CEC then back on. It finally worked. So now it is great, but 2 hours to set up soured my experience.

Amazing. Absolutely love it. Easy to connect, very user-friendly, excellent sound quality. The only issue was with the delivery from FEDEX.

Powerful bass. Using the app , can do much more. Adjusting spund and adding music apps
