I’ve owned and enjoyed JBL products for decades. It’s one of the first brands I think of when I want high quality audio. The Everest Elite 750NC enhances my positive perception that JBL usually offers excellent sound reproduction. The earphones’ design is not unique when compared to others—the basic design has after all been around since WWII—but it is very comfortable and could easily be warn for long flights. The noise canceling function is very good in most settings. (Note, however, these do not appear to be ANSI-rated for ear protection when working with machinery or in other industrial environments, although I could not find any such warning or information in the voluminous, unreadable multi-lingual documentation. In sum, here are the positives: Comfort; Very good music reproduction; Easy Bluetooth pairing; Rechargeable battery; Includes compact case, necessary cords, and airplane adapter; Good noise-canceling function. What more could one ask? A lot in this case. JBL seems to have fallen into the contemporary trap of equating complexity with quality. I’ve owned high-quality noise canceling (non-Bluetooth) headphones for more than a decade, and it has ONE function button. The JBLs have SEVEN extremely small controls, all clustered on the right earphone. One would think that mastering these would be helped by informative instructions. Not so! Obviously, JBL intends to sell these world-wide, and thus includes a “Quick Start Guide” that has 28 foldout panels with 4- or 5-point type face, virtually unreadable and useless. The only way I could get instructions was to (1) download the guide from JBL;’s website, (2) enlarge the pdf document by 400%, and (3) print relevant (English) pages. Even the few graphics (see photo) are nearly indecipherable. The unit is warranted for one year (typical) but contains the notice that the earphones “may deteriorate from use or storage.” In sum, these are good earphone that are overburdened by—and overwhelm the owner with—too many functions (e.g., “Ambient Awareness,” “TruNote Calibration”) and excessive complexity.

The "NC" in the model # of Everest Elite 750NC should stand for "NO COMPARISON"! They are truly in a class by themselves. SUMMARY: JBL Everest Elite 750NC (NC = "No Comparison") Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones are truly in a class by themselves. I was totally blown away by the audio quality & customizable design of these personal listening devices & unequivocally recommend them!!

First off, let's start off by saying these headphones do sound good, clear and well balanced. But at this price point, that is really the minimum expectation here. For the issues: 1. Noise cancelling could be better. I tested while mowing my lawn on my riding mower, and these did not cancel as much noise as another cheaper pair of noise cancelling headphones that I have. Also, I am not sure how useful being able to control the amount of noise cancelling really is for me. When I use noise cancelling, I use it so I can block out everything, not so I can block out "almost" everything. 2. Controls on the headset are really lacking and are hard to find without taking it off. All the buttons feel the same, so it is difficult to know what you are doing without taking the headset off and you only seem to have the ability to pause and change volume from the headset itself. Other good points are: These are very comfortable, you could easily where these for a long time if you had to. The included hard case is nice for travel. If these headphones cost about $100 less, I'd give them a better rating, but for price, it is really hard to excuse it's drawbacks.

I believe the folding option of these has caused them to fail early. They started coming apart awhile back and finally broke.

I just got these headphones in the mail yesterday. One thing that got my attention was how stylish the whole set up is, everything from the box, to the carrying case. It's just the carrying case and inside includes the aux cables, audio inputs, and the headphones themselves. The buttons to control volume, power, and Bluetooth are small, they are located on the right side of the headphones. You'll have some trouble at first but you'll get used to them. The cushion from the headphone feels okay, after an hour of use, they still felt comfortable. Although i must say, the cushion looks like it will get worn out fast (just from past experiences). The headphones themselves do not feel sturdy for me. The headphones are made of plastic with a metal attachment. I don't like the plastic feel and the sound the headphones make when i put them away in my carrying case. It sounds cheap, the plastic squeaks, if the makes sense. I don't know, for the price you'll think they would feel sturdier. That's the one big thing about these, thus minus the one star. Now to the sound quality. It is what you expect of JBL. The lows are great and the highs are great as well. I played anything from beethoven to Metallica and they sounded great. Very good sound just what you expect from JBL. I will say that the noise cancellation wasn't too great. I could still hear outside noise which is a big disappointment because i would like to use this option while studying at home or school. You can't hear outside noise if you turn up the volume high, but still Noise cancellation should try to eliminate outside noise and these don't do a good job. I think the sound is great but it's the lack of sturdiness and noise cancellation that make not want to recommend these headphones to a friend.

The JBL Everest Elite 750NC headphones clearly are advertised to compete with the Bose QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones - but they don’t quite rise to the occasion. Both headphones are fully wireless and sport active noise canceling technology (that Bose perfected years ago) - and both have comfortable over-the-ear cushioning (though the Bose are more comfortable). Both headphones allow for a non-bluetooth connection - and both include flight adapters for airplane use. So: the JBL’s compete admirably with Bose in comfort and volume - and their style appears to bridge the gap between Bose and Beats (and I'm not a fan to Beats). But for their price, the JBL’s can’t hold a candle to the Bose headphones they are up against. The only functional difference that the JBL’s have to advertise is a button to toggle between three levels of active noise canceling. Overall noise canceling is far better in the Bose headphones but the toggling on the JBL’s might be attractive to people using them in airports or while biking (or around troublesome children). The biggest issue with the JBL’s is their sound - the equalization sounds off. While every type of music I listened to sounded good, it didn’t sound great (and surely couldn’t compete with the Bose sound). It wasn’t an issue of bass or treble being off - it was more an issue of imbalance. Music just sounded off. The JBL’s have a calibration feature that is supposed to adjust your listening experience once you try the headphones on but I wasn't aware of any positive adjustment. The quick-start “guide” has print that is nearly microscopic - and it’s poorly written and illustrated (one of the buttons on the headphones isn’t even documented as far as I could see). The JBL headphones are very good but they aren’t great - they surely don’t rise to the Bose standard.

I picked up the JBL headphones due JBL being a company that has been around for a long time and for Noise Cancelling feature. I already have a Bose and Beats pair of headphones that my kids have taken over so I needed a new pair of headphones. In comparison to those two...these surpassed my expectations!! They are extremely comfortable and the sound quality is fantastic. There is an App you can download to adjust the EQ on the headphones and function buttons on the headphones. I was able to get 15 hrs of listening time on one charge and I am always on the go so this helped me out tremendously. It also has calibration so the headphones adapt with age to keep them Top of the Line for years to come. I love these!

I bought these headphones on sale for $100 off the list price I returned them due to a small buzzing in the right earphone they didnt have anymore in stock. I traded them in for Sony's if the buzzing wasn't there they would have been a great set of headphones

I live Bluetooth headphones.. especially over ear for the sound quality and the JBL Everest elite750NC do the job perfectly with no issues.. cushions are supple and comfortable. Also the weight of the phone don't fatigue your ears after a 3 hour walk and could hours of working out.. Battery power is good if you forget to recharge your headphones for a couple consecutive workouts. Plus they are beautiful and stylist.

These are noise cancellation headset. The sound is great, easy to sync up with my ipad, phone, oled tv. It comes with a carrying case and orange charging cord, so its easy to find when you have to charge it. Charge last a long time. Dont waste your money on beats. This is worth the money and so comfortable and really cool looking.

Very comfortable, Sound is excellent not too much bass but strong bass. Better sound with mid-range and treble. You can hear all lyrics. I had Beats STudio and like these much better

Picked these up Black Friday for $149.99 and I challenge anyone to find a better set of headphones for that price. My other headphones were the original beats studios and these sound loads better and are Bluetooth. A little bass heavy but I like that, so I would definitely recommend these to anyone

These are great. Good sound. Good noise cancellation (without cancelling EVERYTHING). Very comfortable. I only wish they would connect to multiple devices (as far as I can tell they don’t).

Sound quality is good but not as loud as other headphones would be better with an amplifier controls are difficult to find while wearing very high-pitched sound hurts ears when calibrate

These headphones are comfortable to wear. The charge lasts a long time. The bluetooth range is better than expected, with no latency or noise. The sound quality for both music and podcasts is excellent and well balanced. The ambient-aware noise cancelling is a godsend. I am extraordinarily fussy about headphones and I love these.

Overall, I like these cans. I fly 100K miles a year on business, and wanted to go wireless. Have the Bose QC25 and the ANC on these JBL's is about 80% of the 25. It is good, just not isolation chamber good. That said, I do not feel the ear pressure with the JBL's, so that is plus. Sound quality is similar, but the JBL's are a little more bass heavy. I am picky on sound, but I actually really like the default sound on the Everest. What I like more is the EQ on the app. If I want to crank the sub-bass, it does so with ease and rarely if ever distorts at normal volumes. What sold me was the soundstage. These do a really nice job of creating a wide, realistic soundstage that is a lot of fun to listen to. Price: At $299, I think they are too expensive. At $229, which is where you can sometimes find them on sale at BB, they are a god deal. I sometimes wish I had splurged for the new Sony cans, but that is just me wanting every headphone ever made. Then I listen to these JBL's and with the many EQ settings, they sound the way I like, so I am happy...for now. :-) Recommended at the sale price.

Very punchy bass with control over highs, mids and, lows through the “My JBL Headphones App” which also controls the “Active Noise Cancelation” and Awareness of your surroundings. I can’t believe YouTube doesn’t put this on there holiday gift guide thing!!!! Love these Headphones and would get more JBL products. These were originally priced like Beats and Bose, so when I saw them on flash sale, I thought I'd give them a try. After all, JBL has a fantastic pedigree. I was impressed by the construction, though the design was a little bulky and plain. They had a good feel, and they fit my head perfectly. Then I connected to bluetooth. Buzzzzzzzzz..... I reconnected. Still there. I plugged in the aux cable and the buzz was gone. Ok. So I turned on the music and was happy with the overall sound. The bass was even deeper and harder than my Studio3's, but the mids were unstable and the highs were flat. Not worth the big pricetag at all. I reconnected to bluetooth and there was that infernal buzz again. Tried a firmware update, but it didn't help. In the end, I decided my money would be better spent on a live band and drinks. At least then, I knew I would be able to explain the ringing in my ears the next morning!

The sound and comfort of these headphones is outstanding. Easy bluetooth connection and it comes in a nice and easy to use case. My only beef is the control buttons are not easy to use while on your head. Stopping and starting and jumping ahead to the next song is easy once you get the hang of it. The rest of the buttons are easier to use if you take them off your head first. I like them very much though.

got 2 of these jbls for my wife and teenage daughter. both have had Beats before these. so far they say the jbls are much better with the bass and clarity mix. I tried them out and I was amazed at the sound. the noise cancellation was great. I couldn't hear nothing but the music.
