Its plenty loud for indoors or outside on the deck for you listening pleasure. Small compact size makes it easy to bring along when traveling, camping or wherever you may go. I give it an A- only because there is no Eq on board.

It starts charging and then stops and if I turn it on, starts for 1 or maximum 2 songs and then stops working.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. Your JBL Flip 5 might has a bad power adapter to have a problem like this. The charger may not be powerful enough to power the unit and charge the battery. Check the adapter and make sure that the rating is 2 amps or higher. Reset may also fix the issue, please follow these steps: Remove or forget the speaker from the list of paired Bluetooth devices in the settings of the phone or tablet. Then, with the speaker powered on, press and hold the Volume + and Play buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until the unit turns off.
The speaker has now been reset. For further assistance, feel free to contact our customer support.

The one issue I had was that after it needed charged the charging cable shipped smashed and I was unable to plug it in. I returned it and I’m now waiting on a replacement. Hopefully this is just a one off thing and that this will be a great speaker.

Great for pools

I love the color and this is our pool music maker, i connect via Bluetooth on my phone and can play pnadora, anazon, Spotify...etc. it's great, but don't expect massive base. It's better than the Alexa units.
