Ended up buying a Flip 4 because it has an audio out connection and the power connection is covered on the Flip 4.

It died probably 4-5 hours in. Now, just over 6 months of usage, it hardly does 2-3 hours before dying. It even dies while it's charging. Usually I like JBL products, but this one is a hardcore flop.
