The sound quality is amazing for such a compact speaker, with clear highs, strong bass, and it gets surprisingly loud without distortion.

The JBL isn’t my favorite speaker in the world, as I tend to care a lot about sound quality, but for quick sessions for more background music, like a shower or an impromptu hangout with friends, this speaker is perfect. My last JBL speaker (Flip 6) is still in pretty good condition after about 2 years, with no real problems, and this one is holding up well too after about a year of use. I have had friends who have had reliability issues with theirs, and I had one JBL crap out after about 2 years (Flip 5?). The sound quality isn’t the best on this speaker, but it sounds good enough to get by. Honestly, I prefer the previous generation’s sound signature, as it feels more balanced and clear, however the new one can get louder. Another disappointment is the inability to pair this speaker with one of the last generation Flips. I’ve noticed that there really isn’t a solid universal pairing system between all JBL bluetooth speakers, and this seems like a missed opportunity. Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve tried using the app across multiple different points in time and combinations of speakers, and I’ve never been able to pair multiple JBL speakers together if they aren’t the same speaker.

JBL makes the best speakers! The sound is excellent, the size is perfect for portability, and its durable. I would purchase again and again :)

I used to buy $20 lil speakers from amazon for my work. They'd last a year or 2, then stop working. I had a gift certificate so I splurged and tried the JBL Flip 7. Amazing sound (compared to what I'm used to) I could hear all the instruments like it was on a real decent stereo! Bass is good, and the app lets you adjust the EQ! Battery life is amazing - I can use it 2 days on 1 charge! Only thing I don't like is that there is no USB stick input. I have a lot of music libraries on my sticks. I'd still recommend for anyone looking for a decent portable speaker that won't break the bank!

!Pun intended lol! Amazing sound quality and it’s loud also! I get about 8 to 10 hours out of a full charge with continuous play at full blast! I was amazed at the connection distance as well o don’t know exactly how far apart my phone and the speaker were but it was a good distance before loosing connection. I was out of range for about 5 minutes and as soon as I got back in range it automatically reconnected to my phone! The removable clip strap and carabiner are pretty handy as well! If you Download the app and you have equalizer controls and other cool features.

I’ve really been enjoying the JBL Flip 7. The sound is clear, the bass is strong for a speaker this size, and it gets plenty loud without sounding bad. The battery life has been good, and I like that it’s waterproof and easy to carry around. It also feels durable and well made. Overall, it’s a great portable speaker and I’d definitely recommend it.

Spunds great. Love the color. It does turn off before i wake up in the am and there is still a charge left so i gavent sorred this out yet.

JBL is definitely one of my favorite brands when it comes to speakers. Their sound and bass is unmatched everytime especially with their larger speakers. If you care about sound quality JBL is the way to go everytime.

Even though it's a small speaker, it delivers excellent sound— with fantastic bass. I downloaded the JBL app, which allows me to get even better amplification from my speaker.
