Big upgrade to the 1000s. They are just tiny bit louder and hit little deeper than the 1000 but not by much. But if you are into the light show these are solid. Also the bluetooth connection whit your phone and on party mode connection with other speakers is drastically better than the 1000s. You can walk anywhere around your place with the phone and the connection wont stop unlike the 1000s. Highly recommend. I dont know about 1700 a speaker but for 999 which i got it for its absolutely worth it.

Beautiful sound and clear beautiful light show easy to move around. It is the ultimate sound for a party of any kind home the yard or a small venture amazing

All around this speaker is definitely worth the hype. I purchased this for hosting minor events but ended up with way more than i needed. Definitely loud enough for whatever you may be planning. A definite buy....

Bought 2 of this JBL ultimate party speakers and JBL 320 I Owen 3 of this they sound awesome loud the bass hard shake the house.

The JBL PartyBox Ultimate is a powerful, high-end portable party speaker known for its impressive sound quality, especially its deep bass and clear highs, and its vibrant light show. It's designed for large spaces and events, offering loud, immersive sound with features like Wi-Fi connectivity, mic and guitar inputs, and the ability to link multiple PartyBox speakers together. While it's a powerhouse, its size and weight make it less practical for smaller spaces and everyday use.

I’ve been using this speaker for a few days and I really like it. The sound is clear, the bass feels strong, and the battery lasts a long time. It’s easy to carry and works great for watching movies or playing music at home or outside. Overall, a solid speaker for everyday use.

Unbelievable sound, bass is amazing and the lights create a club like atmosphere

It arrived exactly on the day they said it would, the package was very well protected, and I absolutely loved it; it's beautiful, large, and powerful, and it met all my expectations.
