These headphone are great! Not only do they look amazing and bring back a lot of great childhood memories, they have superb battery life, connect to Bluetooth without a hitch, and are light on my head but don't shift around when I am working out. The thin band is great and doesn't mash my hair down or hold heat under it and is easy to wipe clean. I also love the extra backup foam covers. The price is fantastic. The only reason they are losing half a star is because you get what you pay for with sound quality and lack of controls. The sound is sufficient for me, but a little on the airy side and I love that I can pause and skip tracks, but I really wish I could change volume and go back from headset controls.
Minor drawbacks aside, I love these so much that I bought a 2nd back-up pair in case the 1st ones ever break and they aren't selling them anymore! Ha!

Great sound and comfort.
Pros:
- Light weight
- Battery lasts a long time
- No pressure on ear
- Stays on your head
- clear vocals
- pairs fast
- shows battery percent on my phone when paired (came 80% charged in the box)
Cons:
- Does not have a usb c type plug (2018 all my stuff has usb c now)
- very hard to plug in cord to charge (not best design and I can see long term damage to the ear cushions)
- hard to see LED light when ear cushion covers it
- the ladies voice is really loud when you press button on the headphones
I have been using these on the go paired to my Nexus 6P. Wow do these sound great. Good to see they have little bit of boom to them when watching videos on my phone. Downside (depending on user) is I can hear everything around me. The trade-off is they don't hurt my ears after hours of on time. No pressure, no pain just pure comfort. Did I mention how light these are?
For the ladies out there (or men with longer hair), the band does not pull your hair. I remember back in the days, my metal band headphones like this always snagged a hair.
I removed 1 star for the placement of the charging port. It is a very tight fit when you input the cord. I only charged once so far (didn't need charge was at 70% after a couple days of listening).
The headphones come with an extra ear cushion (black). Wish they included another orange. Only comes with charging cable, no wall power adapter included.

Successful musical Deja Vu

I’m having a musical flashback moment. I was one of the millions of people almost 50 years ago who purchased the originals on which these are based. We’ll get to the sound in a minute, but I can assure you that my 50 year old headphones didn’t have ANY of the features you can find here, for 1/3 the price!
SOUND and COMFORT: I listened my way back in time, sampling Cold Play, Fitz and the Tantrums and back to early Beatles and Bob Dylan. There was no disappointment. All music genres were quite natural, nicely covering a complete range of sound, decent bass and treble with perfect voicing. Because these are NOT isolating headphones, the bass also came as a nice surprise. Bass is not pounding but it’s realistic. Dynamic range is a bit limited; in other words, these won’t get as loud as more expensive headphones before distorting. It’s physics, not magic. These are low priced headphones that sound very good.
These light, soft foam headphones sit nicely on my ears and can be easily tolerated for hours on end. It does not get better than this.
FEATURES and SETUP: Both the charging port and Bluetooth indicator are slightly hidden behind the foam ear cover which must be pushed away from its resting position. The large button on the right ear piece controls EVERYTHING.
Bluetooth (right side ear, press button for 8 seconds to connect using phone, etc). Select “JLAB Rewind” on your BT device.
Power on (Press button 2 seconds). Power Off, hold button 4 seconds. (It says goodbye!)
Answering/Hanging up phone. Play. Pause are a ONE button press.
Activate Siri or Google Assistant is 2 click press.
Custom EQ (3 click button presses cycles through 3 equalization settings). You’ll find one you like.
There’s even an extra pair of ear cushions (I could switch out my Orange for Black in my set).
COMMENTS / FEELINGS: <> The packaging is bubble-pack aggravating. <> There is no direct volume control . . but Siri increased or decreased the volume from my iPhone6 with no problem. <> There is no direct hard wiring to devices; it’s total commitment to Bluetooth, and that works perfectly. <> There is NO isolation from your environment, but that’s the design objective, and it can be desirable for many end users. <> I had to work to squeeze the micro-USB into its port, but that’s only because I was initially timid about lining up the earpiece to make space.
SUMMARY: JLAB may very well sell millions of these to another generation. And, no, they aren’t going to outperform today’s crop of super-accurate, completely isolating over-the-ear headphones. However, these JLAB REWIND WIRELESS RETRO headphones are tremendous fun for an absurdly low price. There is no excuse for anyone not to take an audio trip back in time, as Bob Dylan invites you “. . . to dance beneath the diamond sky . . . [and] . . . forget about today until tomorrow.” Highly recommended. Great gift idea.

I dig the look of these - so retro! Reminds me of the headphones from my Sony Walkman days. There's an extra pair of foam covers if you want to switch to black (instead of the orange). My only nitpick is the control button - it is the disk on the right ear. It doesn't seem to have multiple controls - I accidentally hung up on a call I was just trying to hear better. Other than that, they are pretty nifty!

I've been using these cool bluetooth headphones for the past 2 days. They are surprisingly comfortable, and sound good for the $ spent on them. Mids and Highs are clean and clear without sounding too tinny. Bass is good, not thump thump good but they have enough. Fully charged, after about 3 hours of listening the headset told me i was at medium battery the next time i connected them. I am pleased with these headphones and would buy them again. They remind me of the headphones my old walkman came with when i was a kid! I just wish the "cans" were a little bigger, or maybe i just have big ears. But they don't fully cover my ears and i have to readjust them from time to time.

I've only had these little headphones for two days, but I am quite pleased with them. The sound quality is much better than you would expect at this price, with clean highs and decent bass, a rarity in cheap headphones. The three built-in EQ settings ( if flat counts as an EQ setting ) are useful as well, the bass-boost manages not to be boomy. The volume level is controlled by the source device, and I found it to be adequate with several different sources. If you are seeking to liquify your brain, look elsewhere. I gave up my audiophile pretensions a long time ago, these headphones sound fine to me.
These phones are extremely lightweight and comfortable. The band is adjustable, with no silly useless padding. The earpieces pivot, and the set comes with two pairs of foam ear pads, black and orange, which gives you an extra set if you can manage not to lose it. These headphones are not for sports, they will fly off if you jerk around. Also, they don't seem the least bit waterproof or sweat-proof.
There is just a single button on the right earpiece that controls everything, and the only user manual is on the back of the package, so don't throw it away too fast. It's really not hard to learn the controls, which consist of single, double, and triple clicks, and some holds, with voice prompts to guide you. There is even an undocumented skip function: hold for 2 seconds until the beep. Battery life seems adequate. There is also a microphone in the earpiece for phone calls.
Bluetooth pairing is par for the course, kind of a pain, no worse than anything else. Make sure there are no other active Bluetooth devices around that might interfere with the process, and it will go better. The headphone eventually paired with every device I wanted it to. Once it is paired, connection is automatic.
A usb charging cable is included, and here is where things get a little weird. The charging port is at the bottom of the right earpiece, under the foam pad. The pad is not a problem, you can push the soft foam out of the way without having to remove the pad, but there is barely enough room between the rim and the band to fit the usb jack. A simple solution is to take a razor knife and shave off some of the excess plastic on the jack connector. I have seen this problem on many other devices - the micro usb jack is one of the worst designs of all time, but sadly it is now the standard charging interface for everything. Another nit is that the headphone is not usable while charging.
As far as build quality, at this price don't expect too much. Look it over good when you buy it and make sure nothing has slipped through QC. My set is flawless. The build is extremely lightweight, if you sit on them, they will be history, but other than that, I don't see anything that is just begging to to break. The headband is spring steel. I can't say how long the electronics will last, but the internal lithium battery will probably be gone in 3-4 years. At this price, if they last that long, I'll be very happy with them. I'd rather have half a dozen of these than one set of lead-filled beets.

PROs:
- Seriously...light as a feather making them ultra comfortable
- BIG one-button control on ear-cup actually works very well
- Bluetooth connection was quick and bulletproof
- Kitschy and retro--perfect for Halloween or Comicon appearances as Star Lord
- Bargain-basement price makes it decent value, especially if kitschy and retro were what you were after (a perfect stocking stuffer or white elephant gift!)
- Voice assist and phone answering worked well--not sure where the mic is hidden but callers had no trouble hearing me
- Comes with charging cable and another set of foam ear-pads (which you're going to need)
- GREAT size/easy functionality for little kids and cheap enough that you don't cringe at the thought of giving them a set of their own
CONs:
- Music sounds just okay--a bit thin and a little muted; bass is muddy and imprecise, especially in DSP boost mode; mids and vocals are passable but nothing special
- Colored pads like these pick up dirt quickly--after only 3 days of light use, I changed out the orange pads for black
- Charging port location almost guarantees the ear-pads will wear out after repeated stretching, twisting, and removal
- Clearance around the charging port is somewhat limited; if you have a chubby-ended cable you typically use for other devices, it may not fit in the space provided
- No remote volume control or music repeat/rewind (only FFW)
When I was 12 years old, I had a black Mura Hi-Stepper portable FM radio with headphones that looked EXACTLY like these--2 years later, I graduated to a Sony cassette Walkman with similar-looking phones. So yeah...some fond memories and sentiments are conjured up when I look at these. The thing is, what was compelling about those devices wasn't that they sounded phenomenal--they didn't--it was simply that I could bring some tunes with me pretty much anywhere without needing a grotesque "boom box" or home stereo to do so.
Flash forward to today and I'm not really sure what someone else would want to get out of these. On the one hand, they sound just as retro as they look--passable, but nothing fancy or over-the-top. Is that okay? For someone like me, old enough to remember this sort of style before it was retro, my musical tastes have matured enough to where I appreciate what good-sounding headphones can sound like. That being so, I'd probably pass on these for my own use.
BUT, if you weren't expecting to be blown away by the sound quality in the first place, then yeah--because you're essentially looking at a pair of "novelty headphones" updated for the wireless world. In that sense, you will get exactly what you pay for and maybe even a few more modern conveniences. They're ultra cheap and DO work as advertised both in function (wireless, voice-assist/phone answering enabled) and in form (retro--yay!), and they're incredibly comfortable because they weigh virtually nothing. Better still, if you give these to a younger listener who isn't so concerned with sound quality (like my 7 year-old daughter), the tune changes even further because everything "cool" about these headphones is that much more--light/unobtrusive, one-touch/easy-to-use features with informative voice prompts, comfortable ear-pads, wireless, just like daddy used to have, etc. For those reasons alone, I'll be keeping these.
One design niggle to be aware of; there is no way to access the charging port without having to pull the foam ear pad back and away from the plastic driver housing. My experience with such pads from "back in the day" is that the foam's natural tendency to sag, wear, and break down over time is going to be accelerated by the constant stretching and manipulation necessary to keep these charged on a regular basis. For occasional use, that probably won't be an issue anyway; but if you plan to use these as everyday listeners, those days would probably be numbered. Then again, the price of entry isn't so high in the first place, so maybe you can forgive that shortcoming as well.

I tried these over the ear retro headset because there are times in-ear buds aren't safe or pop out. These are perfect for everyday use. Recharging is simple with included micro USB cable. It plugs right into the jack hidden behind the earpiece. Once charged it lasts around 8-hours.
The sound was clear over BlueTooth. While making a phone call, I asked how the microphone sounded. The person I was speaking with said fine. So, to pair it is easy , tap the side button to answer a call, and adjust the volume or skip forward/back in your playlist.
All in all fairly nice sound. The orange foam cushions are interchangeable with included black pads.
Fit my head comfortably. No cord to get tangled in.
For the price, it's incredible.

The JLabs Rewind Wireless retro wireless headphones offer an acceptable sound experience for the price point. They are lightweight, stylish, and deliver surprisingly clear audio. They seem ideal for rock/metal and really shine with strong mids and reasonable bass depth.
The Rewinds definitely pair well with a mobile device and include easy access to the IOS/Android voice assistant. JLabs does have an app to help manage them, but I was happy leveraging the controls built into the single hardware button. With a single click you can pause/resume, with a double you can activate your voice assistant, and with a triple click you can cycle through the 3 built in EQ profiles.
I did experience issues when attempting to pair with a PC. Although they connected just fine, the sound quality seemed to severely suffer. Additionally, with no on-device volume control, managing the levels within Windows didn’t seem to function well. The audio would crackle and sound like it was on max no matter how low I had the device volume in Windows while trying to game or listen to music. Strangely, I didn’t experience any of these issues when connected to my phone.
As far as a mobile headset goes, they provided quality sound with minimal gripes. The built in mic, mobility, and easy to use controls make it a solid choice for a headset on the go.

I LOVE these headphones. They're lightweight, they're comfortable to wear for those of us with prescription eyeglasses, and they have that cool 80's look from when I was a kid.
Some people knock the sound quality, but let's be realistic... these are like $20 wireless bluetooth headphones. They're not going to stand up to Bose. But for the price, they really don't sound bad at all. I use them mostly for listening to podcasts (and sometimes music) around the house, and they do a terrific job! Not bad audio quality at all. And their bluetooth connection is quick, easy and reliable. They also hold a charge for a VERY long time!
I docked one star ONLY because the charging port can be a little cumbersome to plug into if your micro USB cord doesn't have a really narrow plug end. Otherwise, I love these.

I love these headphones!!!
They are so light weight you forget you are wearing them.
The sound is really good for a cheap pair of headphones. They are plenty loud.
The sound quality of the phone calls is good too. Everyone I've talked to says they can hear my really well on the other end of the phone call.
These charge fast and the battery last forever. All day of constant use and sporadic use will last a week on a single charge.
I bought a pair for both my mom and dad. The single button control is easy enough for them to understand and use.
The Bluetooth range is great. No cut outs when walking around, even when you are fairly far from the phone.
The retro feel these give me is priceless. Makes my think of when I would destroyed my hearing as a teenager listening to my walkman at top volume in the back of my mom's station wagon. I love it!
The only 2 cons for these headphones are that you can't control the volume from the headset and the charging port can be a little challenging to see when plugging them in to charge, but those are minor complaints.
I highly recommend these!

About what you'd expect

While the allure of nostalgia is pretty tempting, this headphones are about what you'd expect from something like these. If you're old enough to remember the original version of these then you know these aren't quite audiophile quality. These will simply play your music.
The headband is a tad on the small side however I have a pretty big head so yeah. The wires connected to the speakers run along side the headband so you'll need to be careful not to pull on them too hard. The spongey earpads are exactly as I remember them and they're no different on these. This does come with a a pair of black earpads if you're so inclined to swap them out. I kept the original orange ones in place.
Sound is surprisingly acceptable. While nowhere near noise cancelling or even close to it, they do an acceptable job at playing music and sound OK. Not great but they are just OK.
Biggest issue I found was the location of the charging port. It's buried behind/underneath the foam earpad. You have to pull out the earpad a bit in order to get the cable plugged in. Bad design and it'll definitely wear out that side of the earpad quickly.
I REALLY prefer my headphones/earbuds to sound good. I can't go with ones that are just OK, which is what these are. If you're really in the mood for some nostalgia while listening to your music, pick these up or you can gift these to someone as a gift. BUT, I'd say pass on these just due to the sound quality of them.

I got these pair for myself thinking of my old Walkman headset and being nostalgic person. Quality is good and sound is clear BUT its too small to fit on my ears taking into consideration my ears are midsize so I decided to give it to my little kid and he enjoyed it so much. Other than that BT connection is fast and no issues for now.

The JLab Audio Rewind Retro Wireless On-Ear Headphones are not only cool looking they are comfortable and work great. They are very lightweight and are comfortable on the your head and ears. These headphones sound good and look cool with the retro styling, and are very small and light to carry around.
They have 3 EQ settings which is nice.
They don't seem to get very loud, but that could be because they do not block outside sounds.
They only have one button to control, which means no volume control.
The battery lasts pretty long, but not as long as full size headphones.

Bought these looking for a nice pair of over the ear wireless headphones. Didn't want something too big and heavy as I planned on using them around the house and would be leaning over to pick up various things and did not want them to fall off my head. These fit securely and feel comfortable thanks to the cushion ear covers. Nice they give you a second pair of covers in an alternative color. Also like the 3 sound modes you can choose from.
A couple of minor dislikes I have.
1.) The sound is a little unbalanced. One side is more bass heavy while the other has more treble. I mostly use these for hands free conversations so it's not really an issue for me.
2.) The charging port is on the bottom, back side of one of the speakers. This is annoying because the port is in a really tight spot. I find myself pulling the speaker cover back to insert the charging cable and am very gentle with plugging in the connector as not to break the speaker.
Overall, a good pair or light, wireless headphones with good battery life.

I just recently bought some JBL headphones-noise cancelling. They're very good but they aren't very comfortable. The sound is superb but I was missing an old school pair of headphones like I had with my walkman back in the day. I didn't know they actually existed today, in the form of bluetooth. I was perusing the Best Buy site after they sent me an email promoting a sale. I found a retro item section and searched. When I saw these headphones, my heart dropped and I actually shed a tear. Then, they finally arrived and I love them more than I ever thought I could. I've tried multiple pairs of ear buds. I just can't get down with those. I always have one side that I can't get to stay in. And, they're never comfortable for me. These headphones are as light as I remember. SO comfortable to wear AND the sound is great, especially for $20. I use these everyday and hardly use my pricier, heavier ones. The fact that I can wear the headphones I loved from childhood--today--and they're wireless, which is completely magical. You will NOT regret this purchase. And it will bring you lots of joy.

This is the best headphones for what it is. The build quality is about the same as the old 80's - 90's style headphones. The sound quality is fine for being outside in loud places. The best part is that it is LIGHT and will stay on your head. I wanted something I can just have on and not deal with all the extra weight and cruft, and this was it! I wish there were more like it!
The bluetooth signal does cut out for me every so often. This is actually common for me for any small headset. I'm left handed, and my phone is usually in my left pocket while the receiver on any headset is on the right ear piece. If I switch my phone to my right pocket, a lot of the drops disappear.
I really wish the charge plug wasn't covered by the foam ear piece, but there's not a better place for them the way it's designed. Not a dealbreaker.
