First off, am getting tired of everything getting bigger. Studio size headsets are great, but much too bulky to lug around. These at its price point are a good buy. Sound reproduction is good, battery life dood (7-8 hours), the reason for 4 stars is doubt they are that durable. The headset themselves are made well, but the on/off button is questionable in durability.

Brought me back to the 80s and my first Walkman!

I was drawn to these because they reminded me of my first Sony Walkman (with the distinctive orange ear foams!). I purchased these for my daughter. She opted to take off the orange foam and replace with the black foam ear covers that also came with the headphones. Love, love, love the style of these - and wish I could give them 5 stars. Unfortunately, I found sound quality wasn't that great and the blue tooth connectivity wasn't as stable as I would have liked. Because the cost is so low for these, I'm willing to overlook those drawbacks. However, I would not want to pay more than I did for these. What it does remind me of is the lightness of the original Sony headphones. So many headphones nowadays crush your ears and are heavy on the head. These are very light weight and do not cause headaches or earaches. The recharge plug was really difficult to find at the beginning, but once you know where it is, it is easy to use.

Yeah, they look retro, but the sound quality's good, and they're particularly good for winter running (i.e., over a hat). One caveat: I had to use the USB cable that came with the headphones in order to charge them. Also, it doesn't take much running time to get a low-battery warning when I turn them on. But keep 'em charged and they'll work well, and they're a bargain.

This is not the first Jlab product I have tested and reviewed, but it is by far the least expensive. What's interesting is that this set of phones has the widest range and best bass of any of their products I've had so far. They have a "retro" look, pretty much like the Sony and Panasonic cheap little lightweight on-ear models we all used back in the 90's when you plugged into a stereo audio-out jack on the (hopefully) front of your PC. Those darn things had a cord usually no longer than 3 or 4 feet, so the Bluetooth wireless solves that issue. The phones are very light, don't make you sweat with light foam covers (red ones installed, spare black ones are included) and are very easy to connect with cell phone or PC etc. There is a big button of sorts on the right ear that you click according to the instructions for power-on, Bluetooth pairing, and three equalizer settings (CHOOSE BASS!) You can check the battery level also. The included USB charging cable attaches by leaning an earpiece back away from the foam cover, and sort of forcing the connector in about halfway in the port. A tiny light changes from red to blue when charged. It did seem a little cheezy and I wondered if I was going to break it, so be careful. Giving this set of phones 4 stars, definately worth the twenty bucks or so. Nice sound and lightweight and easy to use.

These headphones definitely brought back memories. However, that is where they should have stayed. I have used them a couple of times and although I can hear the people I am talking to easily, I am told that I sound quiet or far away. I think these will be great for music only but I wouldn't recommend them for phone calls.

This definitely fits the bill as I can easily wear them while in bed or on the couch without feeling like the headset is to intrusive. The treble and bass levels are decent and the added touch of 3 different equalizer settings allows for more range. For less than 20 dollars it’s well worth it as they perform beyond my expectations. In the box you’ll get a micro usb charging cable and an extra set of ear muffs. All in all it’s a great set of entry level headphones that are more then capable for everyday use!
