And a great value. The knobby legs have many hinges so they can adapt to all sorts of uneven surfaces. Good probably for filming, I used it with a mini projector.

I bought this tripod for my digital camera. I am transferring movies from an 8mm projector. So I need to get the camera set at a perfect angle. This works perfectly. Wonderful invention.

It is a good little tripod in a pinch. I use it for attaching to a Miroir Projector to get a bit of height but standard attachment to any device.

Grips great, works great! Can be a tad bulky compared to others but the bulky construction makes for a more solid design and worry free gripping of things.

Works excellent for my GoPro Session. The only downside is the detachable mount was shaky and loose. Fixed that issue with some duct tape as a spacer.

It worked for about day but then one of the legs fell off. It also didn't grip very well either when I tried to wrap it around anything thinner than a broom stick.

Other tripods would not fit the new iphone. Because we can get a Joby holder separately we hope this will tripod work with whatever phone she uses.

I tried my phone and also my camera and this little thing held both without struggling. The hot shoe area feels a little cheap but holds up fine.

It is a little difficult to get the legs straight again but otherwise works exactly as advertised. It has a good grip on metal bars and such.

This tripod can be put almost anywhere you can wrap its legs around, or just with the legs straight like a conventional tripod.

It is really small and feels very flimsy. I guess it will be ok for a small point and shoot camera.

This product is ok. Not great just ok. If you want for simple use then this is the product for you.

this product is supposed to do a lot, and it does do a lot in a sub par fashion. you want your camera to stand up? it'll take a good min to do so and will probably eventually fall. want to wrap it around something or hang it? you can after tying it, looping it, then jumping through a ring of fire. and it will definitely not keep its position. honestly everyone has these kinds of tripods, but they're not practical or user friendly.

I have been watching this item to go on sale, but it has not. I reluctantly paid full price so I hope it lasts and maintains its early good quality.

I'm using this with a sony RX100 M5 and it has a slight wobble where it clips into the mount ... wish it didnt have that wobble

Bought this for a trip to Alaska to mount the GoPro Session on all the activities we did. Help up well, and good grip on multiple surfaces.

Works well as a tripod or just to hold like a handle but pretty cool that you can wrap around objects. Had some fun with it in SF.

The gorillapod can be used in situations where the normal tripod will have trouble. Easy to use while being very stable.
