Great product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use the gorillapod for my flipcam. It's handy to set up anywhere and holds sturdy even in wind gusts. I would buy another one for my camera or other video accessories in a heartbeat. It's not the easiest thing to store, but it's flexible enough that you can fit it in most bags. Overall, I would highly recommend the product to anyone. If they took the time to make it an excellent product, by offering different materials or a better storage option, then I would give it 5 stars.

Excellent Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this stand for my SLR camera, however, theres an old saying that reading is fundamental. I ended up purchasing the wrong size. My SLR is to heavy for this stand. I got lucky because my wife has a smaller camera and she was able to use the stand without any problems. The stand works perfect. I love to wrap it around items and be more creative with angles while taking pictures. Be very careful when purchasing the item. Make sure that it is the right stand for the camera that you have. I have purchased the correct gorillapod Tripod for my SLR. Great product. Well worth the price.

Great little tripod
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great tripod to carry around, since it is so light and small, yet still very useful. it isn't for heavy cameras (like the bigger point and shoots) but works great for small, light cameras.

Creative, innovative and all around good product.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just received my gorilla pod a few days ago and haven't really had the chance to experiment with it aside from playing around with it in my house. It seems as though this product will be really useful when trying to capture those memorable moments without leaving anyone out. It's very lightweight and compact and will probably be able to grip on to anything. Even if i didn't receive this for free with my digital camera purchase I would buy it anyways.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took it to Hawaii and used it in the airport, plane, beach, hiking, and dinner. It lets you decide what you want in the picture and then you can set the timer and go instead of having the Jones take an average photo of what they think is good in the background. Use the lock to prevent the camera from sliding off. I leave the adapter on my camera, making it much faster to attach to the pod. My lock broke, but I had the pod replaced. Can't wait to take it hiking in the mountains.

nice little tripod to use on uneven surfaces
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great gadget to take on a vacation when you have a small camera and want to have a tripod that is easy to carry. Ideal for smaller point and shoot cameras but for the small camera point and shoot camera that has a interchangeable lense you must be careful of lack of stability to hold camera. Love the ability to fold the legs into any angle both for shooting and for storage. Ideal for self timer use when you don't have anyone to take your picture.

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great purchase. I now use it all the time. It is very easy to set up and to use and my picture quality didn't diminish because my camera was set up on the tripod.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With a tripod that could hang from things or be stable on uneven surfaces, I was hoping to get some interesting shots! But unfortunately, it seems unless your camera's tripod hole is centered (or close to it) on the bottom of your camera, the tripod won't stay standing. I have a very small Sony camera (listed as a recommended product below); its weight is listed as 7.1 oz. on its Best Buy page. The packaging for this tripod says it can hold cameras weighing up to 11.5 oz. My camera is well within the weight range, but because the tripod hole in on the left side rather than centered, the tripod wouldn't stay standing, not even on my desk. It's not worth risking my camera, so it's going back to the store.

Great new product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This flexible mini-tripod is wonderful! Great for use in unusual places, like uneven surfaces. You can easily wrap it around a tree limb, or set it up for a shot on a mountain trail or hillside. Very good price (around $20-25) for a "must-have" for all photographers!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Tripod as a early christmas present and i started to play around with it and it was just too short and if there is something to wrap the legs around its great but if you are into photography and this is your first tripod DON'T EVEN CONSIDER IT!!!!

Great tripod until it broke
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second joby mini gorilla I've had. The first one lasted about 6 months and then broke but that one was not treated as well. This one I babied and it still broke, after having it for only 3 weeks. The joint at the top where the camera attaches is weaker than the rest of the tripod and has been the breaking point both times. This is a great tripod, just needs to be redesigned or different materials used so it won't break so easily.
