Replaced a older aftermarket unit with this one. Best Buy Geek Squad did the instal and it turned out perfect. Lots of features to include multiple camera and a superior sound once it is balanced and equalized properly.. I would recommend this Kenwood to anyone looking for an advanced unit.

The wireless Android Auto makes this stereo a winner. Being able to navigate and use other Android features without the need for a cable is a game-changer. Overall, it is a nice radio. That said, there are a few places where Kenwood really messed up. First, the USB port, if you plug a modern smartphone into it, will immediately go "over-current" and shut down and not even work as a data connection. While Kenwood support simply denied this is an issue, I was able to get past it with a USB power blocker. Next, loading a photo gallery onto the device from USB, if the size of the photos is not exactly what the device expects, it pans across the photo in an attempt to fit it to the screen. The exact size the image must be to have it just plain fit is not documented. Asking Kenwood support what size the image also got no answer.

This stereo is an awesome piece of equipment. The amount you can do on this stereo is end less.Sound is great.the features are incredible

Replaced my old Kenwood (2013) with this unit and I am very happy with this one. Had the Geek Squad install it, did a fantastic job. The Apple CarPlay is all I hoped it would be. This unit has so many extras and settings that I will be able to customize to just what I want.

Love this kenwood. Android auto works flawlessly along with the mirroring. Dvd plays great with great picture and sound. I mirror my phone and watch netflix, hulu and any other streaming device. Fits great in my 2017 toyota corolla. Installed the maestro data link and the steering wheel control adapter and everything works great. The equalizer has many preset options or u can customize it. It may seem pricey but everything u get is worth it. Next will be a kenwood 5 channel amp and a downfiring sub woofer with some JL audio speakers and this system will rock.

Bought this to replace Toyo Corolla system. This system is flippin great. With a sub in the trunk. Easy to navigate.

Love the KENWOOD stereo. That Apple play is amazing. Syncs perfectly with my iPhone. Install was good. Had the backup camera installed as well

I love the radio dual USB charge and use maps from one and listen to a USB thumb drive at the same time that it awesome. Too bad Best Buy installation didn't know how to install to get my backup camera working. I had to return it, it turns out that they forgot 1 wire to make the camera work.

KENWOOD In-Dash CD/DVD/DM Receiver is an awesome unit. Has a ton of features. Too many things to say about this unit! I’m overjoyed with the performance and it’s versatility. Just buy it/you won’t be disappointed!

Overall happy that the unit is wireless apple and android and also has wireless phone mirroring! Perfect. Only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the screen image quality is not like HD and not as bright as a cell phone screen. I felt like the screen should glow just a tad brighter. Terrible service at the Best Buy install garage however. I have a G-Wagon and they could not figure out how to install it. I had to go to a independant audio shop for install. But besides that I recommend for the price for what you get!

worth every penny, not only, not only because i got it on sale but because of the actual quality of this unit, the responsiveness of the screen, the clarity of it, with the additional options of navigating with mechanical buttons versus butting wear on the screen, i absolutely LOVE this unit and the value is unmatched.

This stereo has a great display. Android auto and weblink are both okay. Android Auto basically takes over my phone and you can really exit out of it all the way without turning bluetooth off and/or unplugging it. That could be my phone, the app itself, or the radio. Not really sure. Weblink is conceptually awesome but lacks apps and the apps they do have feel way behind amd need updated. Overall I am happy with this stereo though as sound and picture quality is good.

Just had it installed at Best Buy Geek Squad! I'm simply amazed at how kick butt this stereo is!! This has turned my 2007 Chevy Silverado truck into a brand new truck! Amazing sound and controls are perfect and easy to use. Worth every penny I spent on this unit!

We purchased this radio in order to be able to retrofit a backup camera, front camera & side view cameras...when you hook up your phone to the radio, you can access all your music and use whatever map guide/GPS you use on the phone...all of which display on the radio screen! The technicians at Best did all the installations of the radio, the cameras & wiring to radio, the steering wheel controls and wired in the UBS port to hook up the cell phone, all of which was free as a Total Tech member...

This an amazing radio, capable to do a lot of things at once, very good quality and sound perfect, I really took the better choice buying this radio…

Best radio iv ever owned. Was easy to install. Has good quality sound.

The technicians were great but now I have a lot things that don’t work. Mirror link, wireless and USB want connect. The CarPlay continues to disconnect. The screen freezes randomly and I have to restart my vehicle to get it to connect. I also have a DVD player that only plays when you are parked… It’s also very difficult to see the screen when any amount of light hits it… Other than that, it’s has a lot of features that are cool..
