I am totally satisfied with this product. It's affordable, practical and great quality. This dash cam captured a lot of road activities during our drive. It will always remind you to reformat the sd card, i dont know why. You can download videos over usb cord to your laptop or wireless through your phone. This dash cam is good paired with 256GB or higher sd card. Easy hardware installation. Software can easily downloaded through app store. I just loved the software, it has a gps too.

Works great, good price. The micro SD card that comes with it is only 16gb and if you drive a lot like myself then you will be notified daily to, “format” the device. This means there isn’t enough memory so it has you erase the recordings to continue to record. The app is awesome because you can connect your phone to the device via BT and you can save the videos to your phone and erase them off the device. The video quality is clear and stable. It comes with clips to hide the wires and comes with two cords, one long and one shorter so it’s customizable per vehicle.

This dash cam is a overall good entry level device. Comes with a 16gb sd card which is nice. Has lots of nice settings like park mode, speed, date and time readout. Nice clear image. If you want something that can protect you without breaking the bank i think this kenwood dashcam is the way to go! Image in photo does not represent actual image quality, phone shutter speed distorted image.

Straightforward easy set up, hi definition footage very clear and screen is bright. I love it.

Good image quality and features, but not mage for tropical climates. Mine melted the support due to sun heat in April, in Houston. Wish they would use better quality plastics or other thermally stable compounds.

The car camera is very good at the morning. Night time the anti-glare isn’t that good. The street light create a little glare. Regular lights at night time and store lights are fine. Post a picture at night time at wawa.

It's a nice little dash cam. It does work well and is light and easily portable, especially if you use a power bank to run it. It could be easier to use and made easier to navigate it's features. I do wish it were easier to turn the audio recording feature on and off, for instance. There is a learning curve involved and the instructions that are included aren't always very clear. The 16 GB card it comes with may not be adequate space wise. I did get a high endurance 256GB card which works much better and you can go more than a couple of hours before it asks if you want to overwrite the previous videos, which will come in quite handy if you drive a lot. The app does not work well. It does install on my phone easily and will open but even when it says that it's connected, it won't talk with my phone. It needs a lot of work and I don't use it though I've kept it on my phone, in case the needed improvements are made. Luckily the videos can be reviewed right on the cam itself, needed videos can be protected so that they won't be overwritten, and the videos can be transferred to a laptop fairly easily, especially if you know how to transfer items between files. The suction cup does stick to the windshield well and hasn't even hinted at coming loose on it's own. It does have good light gathering ability and the quality of the videos is decent enough, and the small size of the camera makes it less obtrusive. It can be easily set somewhat behind the rear view mirror and doesn't block the view. Overall, a good dash cam.

Option to use suction cup or adhesive (prefer suction cup for portability for use on a different car - they stay on pretty strong). Patent designed magnetic charging mount easy off/on removal. Cigar lighter adapter and USB cable included. Wireless link allows video playback, set up via smartphone app (I have an iPhone). Awesome price (bought another set for a friend. Great price!!

Always a fan of Kenwood's product, brought this a couple of weeks! Very easy to install. Video quality is very good. Do check those video footage and format the memory card. Love the super capacitor feature. No need to worries about internal battery issue! Good job Kenwood!

Good device for the price. Pros: Easy to use once installed. Easily connect via USB (to computer) or low power WiFi (to Phone). 3 recording lengths (1/3/5 min). Clear recording. Tracks time, date, GPS, speed, & internal audio on the video. All good. Cons: Set up instructions are poor. I found a few set-up videos which made it a LOT easier. You will need to download the app (no surprise) and first set up is clunky. But after that, it's not a problem. High recommend (with patience). Purchased 3 and gave 2 as gifts.

At $79, on sale, this camera is more than I expected, especially when the videos are viewed through the Windows software application. Though it has wifi transfer to a phone, the microSD card is easy to remove and replace and the Kenwood app on Windows uses the file to display a GPS location map and other parameters of the video while it's playing. I had Best Buy install the camera. I downrated it one star because I had to order the parking cable through another vendor as Best Buy doesn't stock the cable. It comes with a power adapter to plug into a "cigarette lighter" outlet. Though that makes the unit more portable with its suction cup mount, I wanted a permanent installation so I asked the tech to use the adhesive window mount to attach it just left of the mirror and a bit below. The tech did a good job of installing the cam and hid the cable, connecting it properly so that it records for 30 seconds if someone bumps into the car when it's parked. The only time that would be of value is if someone backed into the front of the car while it is parked, but the main advantage of the power cable is that it is wired into the car for a neat installation.

I bought this dash cam after finding that my cheaper dash cam was creating very poor video quality. After using this cam for a few weeks and locking a few vids that include idiot drivers and some deer on the road, I find the quality and features are nice. One thing I love is it is easy to just pull the cam from the mount and not having to remove the suction cup or cable from the mount. The PC software is nice as well as it allows you to edit and even view GPS tracks for each vid. As with most mid level cams, you wont be able to read license plates very well or at all, but the quality is much better than those I have had or seen prior.
