I love this microwave. It does a great job of cooking food both convection and microwave. Easy to use, easy to clean, looks good. I did have frustration since I never had an over the range microwave before. I had to have an electrician put in a plug and no one told me the plug is on top of the microwave so it does have to be in the overhead cabinet. I originally bought from Home Depot, they make you stay home to have the microwave delivered, then you have to stay home to have it installed, you can't pick the days or times. Anyway I ended up returning the microwave to Home Depot and took my business to Best Buy. Best Buy matched the price and was awesome to work with!!!

At first I was a little hesitant with the price of this microwave, but after receiving it I can see why it’s expensive. It’s a beautiful microwave and feels very luxe. It’s also incredibly quiet. I can’t believe how quiet — our last microwave was not a cheap model, but I was surprised at the difference in sound. The display is bright and easy to use. I also have found that the reheat function, that some complained about, is pretty close to perfection. I’ve never been fully satisfied with reheat on any microwave, but this microwave actually does a great job at reheating just about anything. The food comes out at a perfect temperature. I haven’t tried the convection aspect but will do so and update the review if anything changes!

This microwave was the perfect upgrade addition to my newly remodeled kitchen. Quality built and sleek design. Runs to quietly and I love all the gadgets it includes like the middle rack tray, heating bowls.

This KitchenAid convection/microwave is a great performer and looks great. it is quiet. The door latch has a solid feeling and sounds solid when opening & closing. Compared to all other brands, it's a new Cadillac compared to an old, worn-out Chevy.

Wow! This microwave is big inside. Biggest I've ever seen. The door encompasses the entire front of the appliance. I bought this model because all the touch controls are along the bottom edge on the front of the door. Makes life a tad easier for my wife who is in a wheelchair. Arrived well packed with no damage. This was a replacement microwave and the installation went well. The instructions were very clear and correct. Not hard at all. TIP: Don't even think about installing an over-the-range microwave by yourself! It takes two people. Overall, we really like this microwave. My favorite feature is how quiet it is. You have to be within a few feet to hear it running.

The BEST microwave EVER!!!!! Never would I have thought that I could write such a review about a microwave. I had a less than 1 yr old Samsung and I replaced with this purchase. Let me say…major difference. Super quiet, easy to use and melts my chocolate to perfection! I replaced my twice replaced Samsung oven range to a KA cooktop and single wall oven, love it. This microwave made the perfect addition and I will next replace my Samsung refrigerator with a KA. Thank you KA for a well designed microwave! It’s a complete experience (I know it sounds weird, but it’s true). Get one, you will not regret it!

The new kitchen aid appliances are super quiet and intuitive, I haven’t had any trouble figuring out the buttons on the microwave. The black stainless steel is sleek and very appealing.

This oven is large and beautiful! I researched every microwave/convection oven. This one had everything I was looking for. The only flaw I would say is that the keypad is not lit. Is a bit difficult to see, but still love this oven.

What a great buy. After ours finally died we decided to get a larger microwave with the convection oven feature and settled on this one. The design is sleek and spacious and while only being slightly larger than our previous microwave (deeper and taller) it easily fitted the space above the oven. Because the controls are integrated on the door, it frees up more cooking space on the interior due to no control panel on the side. He microwave feature is great but my wife is in love with the convection oven and how thoroughly it heats food. This unit is very easy to operate. It is also surprisingly very quiet when operating. Even the beep tones are muted and the door closes almost silently and effortlessly. We were lucky to find a great deal at Best Buy and purchased it for lower the other retailers offered.

This thing is crazy quiet. It's just super big. Absolutely gorgeous all chrome everything. The install is super easy. Wish it had a thirty-second option but then I never walk away.

Got this to replace an oldie we got with the house. Really like the unit very solid when you close the door. Convection is great, there are times when you need an extra oven or to cook at two different temps. Auto sensing works great for a wide verity of foods. Knocked off one star because of two items, first the add time button is for 1 min. not 30 sec. Second the lowest temp you can set convection at is 250 degrees, would like that to be lower to keep things warm say 170. Otherwise a fantastic microwave. Would buy again.

Love this microwave! Replaced an 8 year old “regular” GE microwave...love all the features & options this offers! Our food always comes out perfect. My kids even love it! Still have yet to explore all it can do, but extremely pleased with this purchase! As I always do, a lot of research went into this, so thankful I chose the KitchenAid!!! The stainless interior is a favorite feature! The microwave is extremely quiet & the signal chime is so pleasant. A welcome sound after listening to an awful buzzer for years. Now I want to transition my cook top & frig to KitchenAid. Love the brand!!!

The Kitchenaid microwave is everything I hoped for. It has both convection oven capability plus microwave. I used both during holiday dinnner when big oven was occupied with other dishes. Easy to use. Attractive.

I bought this unit as part of a kitchen renovation project. It has huge capacity, is quiet and very easy to use. It looks beautiful and is a great addition.

I am really happy with this purchase for our remodel. It is solid. It's very quiet. The only thing that I am not so happy with is cleaning it. When I clean the front of it, I can't lock all the buttons down. The light and the fan don't seem to lock and if you wipe over them they turn on and you then have to press the button five times to get the fan to shut off. Maybe I should pull out the book on this thing. I love it other than that. It works, but it isn't as powerful as my last microwave, but it is defintely better looking. It looks beautiful. We have had this 3 months. Some of the reviews I read said things about an open door message. When it says that hit the cancel button, and that message will go away if the door is in fact closed. Haven't had any issues with it, and my son uses it all the time.

Our old microwave died and we purchased this unit as a replacement - it's amazing how quiet this unit is compared to our old one! Nice and big, doubles as a convection oven. It's got all the bells and whistles!

Great quality. Quiet and stylish. The sensing actually works. The filler panel is needed for 36 inch installation.

It is extremely quiet. Easy to use. I like the preset options. Works so much better than my old product. It looks great with the matching stove.

I had this installed a few weeks ago and so far I'm very impressed with it. It looks beautiful, it's very quiet and it reheats foods and liquids much quicker than the one I replaced it with. I have a lot to learn with this one though since it isn't just a microwave. The convection option, once I have it down, will be a great addition to my kitchen. I love everything KitchenAid makes, I have a KitchenAid dishwasher with the window in the door, and the 30" gas cooktop. Next on my list is their refrigerator. KitchenAid products look and perform as well as other higher end products available.
