Makes good ice as advertised. Quieter than most. Do need to let you know that there can be additional installation charges due to differences in old ice makers

it need a water bump to connect the water to it cost $400. it doesn't come with it.

The ice maker is exactly what we were looking for. I didn't think that it was noisy but you can hear the ice fall sometimes. It makes small cubes which is great for me.

NO filter or pump

nice ice maker, make a lot of ice, quite. but beware it comes with no pump so if you don't have a floor drain right below where you are putting it you will need to purchase one, additional $400. also it does filter the water, but the unit comes with no filter, must purchase separately....another $60 bucks.

Stopped working after 6 years and the malfunction is related to the compressor, so it's done. Obviously, I'll have to replace otherwise I'll have an empty gap in my island or a pile of junk empty icemaker. With bindenomics/kamalanomics I currently can't afford a new one.

Overpriced and poor quality. Do not buy any Kitchen Aid Products. I invested top dollar for top of the line Kitchen Aid Appliances. Not one item has been reliable - not worth the money.
