I have been impressed with the KitchenAid line for some time so when I remolded my kitchen this was the first thing I bought to go with my new KitchenAid range. Vented to the outside it will move cooking odors out quickly. Simple and easy to use, filters are easy to replace or take out to clean. One of the best on the market.

We’re huge KitchenAid fans so when we remodeled our kitchen we went with them again. We changed from a 30” KitchenAid microwave above the stove to this vent hood. Oddly, this Vent Hood did not fit between the old cabinets we refaced. Whereas microwaves are 29-7/8” in width, this hood was a fat 30” that lead to some unexpected challenges. Also, the LED lights are located at the front of the unit as opposed to the rear on our previous microwave, which is resulting in a shadow on our featured mosaic backsplash. Also, these LED lights are very blue in nature…perhaps 5-6000K and do not match our 3000K color under cabinet lighting. These are 2 details we were not aware of, and I have gone so far as to contact KitchenAid to see if there are options to correct this. Finally, we bought an expensive extension kit so we could intersect our vaulted ceiling. It is a 2-piece construction like the original, so you get stuck with a seam anyway. For what we spent, we would have preferred a more aesthetically pleasing 1-piece extension. Outside of those issues, we do believe it is a well built product. The fan is reasonably quiet (about just what we expected) and does not need additional make-up air for proper function. In the end if I’m being honest, we’re probably a little disappointed given what it cost us to purchase and have a qualified installer install it (Best Buy does not offer installation for these), along with the aesthetics. I might look at other models or brands to get these details correct…gets a mild recommendation.

This isn't a great product as we expected a lot from Kitchen Aid. The functionality is good, but sometimes the fan produces weird noise and then going normal automatically. Timer doesn't work! It don't turn off automatically after the time is done.

Great range hood..does the job..my wife cooks alot so that 600cfm comes in handy..some people complain about it being noisy but i think its normal obviously the higher the speed is the noisier it will get..has 3 different speeds..been having for a week now & wife is happy..me too since she is lol. Has 3 filters

The first unit arrived and the latch for the filter cover was broken and it took another 2 weeks to get a replacement. The fan looks good and has a fine amount of suction but not as strong as I would like.

The product was sold completely damaged. No real action was taken to resolve the issue. Instead, the manager, Carlos, blamed me for the damage because I attempted to return the product on day 21 instead of within the 14-day period. It is unacceptable manipulation. Absolutely disgusting experience. I spoke with Manager Carlos at the Best Buy located at 615 E Palatine Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. He blamed me for damaging the product. His logic was that if I returned it within 14 days, I didn’t damage it, but if I returned it on day 21, I did. He refused to take any responsibility for selling damaged goods to customers. The attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. Best Buy sold a damaged product and then tried to shift all responsibility onto the customer to avoid accountability. The problem was not resolved.

First let me say I love my Best Buy, the employees are always willing to help & give you there honest opinion .... I paid top $$$$ on all my New KitchenAid appliances , so when we received my Hood & geek squad installed the hood the KitchenAid emblem was on crooked , & long story short my Hood doesn’t work... they said they think it was installed wrong.... But BestBuy said they are going to make things right....

Our kitchen didn't had any vent hood and it required a vent hood urgently because of the kind of cooking we do, and our entire house would have the cooking scent for hours in it. Since we got this vent hood, it has been working great, keeping all the cooking scent out very efficiently and now our neighbors know when and what we're cooking. Works great. 4 different speed levels in the hood works great for any type of cooking, low on noise (highest speed can be heard, but isn't bothering at all). Wasn't easy to install, not so great on the installation instructions present in the install guide, but with some patience, can be installed fine.

4.5 stars. We've had this hood for nearly a year now and no complaints. I wish it was quieter, but it's not too loud. It needs to be regularly cleaned of dust and grease build up like any other hood. It is not fingerprint resistant, but it does its job well of removing odor, smoke, etc. Matches our other KitchenAid appliances.

Hood works great. Light is very bright and fan is functional. Aesthetically, I think KitchenAid could have done a little more, but we like it

The hood looks very compact, yet powerful. Took the cabinet space above the range, but otherwise looks really great and works like a charm.

The product itself is awesome. High quality and good suck power. You cannot smell the food even stand by the cooktop when you cook. Looks sleek and matches my new white kitchen cabinets.

It's quiet as compared to our previous microwave hood combo unit. It is sleek and simple to use. It does a great job at exhausting cooking odors. It's pricey, but well worth it. Over the range is a less than desirable location for a microwave. We are happy we changed that.

This is a very nice range hood. Volume choices for the fan are a good range; I wish the light brightness could be adjusted.

Very nice but when it's on top setting makes too noise was not expecting this much noise from kitchen aid product caz it's coming on high end but now this products r available at Home Depot also so they have done some compromise with quality also

KitchenAid is my go to for all my homes that we build. Great quality. Great handles.
