Let me begin by saying these are great powered speakers. I had originally purchased the Edifier R128’s and the klipsch R-41pm and I returned both. I really enjoyed the R-41 PM speakers but it was missing a little bit of fullness “bass” and power. After listening to my turntable and Bluetooth devices on these speakers. I am really enjoying them and really happy I upgraded to the R-51pm’s. I actually need to turn them down, that’s a nice problem to have. At high volumes they still sound chrisp and clear. I am not an audiophile, but I know what I like. These are really nice speakers. I have no problem in recommending these speakers, especially after trying both. The R-41 pm and The R-51 pm. I definitely prefer the Klipsch R-51 PMs

Best sounding speakers I have ever owned, pairs great with vinyl players.

I spent months deliberating over this purchase, and I am so glad I eventually made it. Klipsch has won me over, these easily fill the room and sound great doing it - way better than any other set I have ever owned. They put out wonderfully crisp, clear sound as well as a surprisingly decent amount of bass all by themselves for being so small. On top of this they are absolutely gorgeous - the copper-color cones and accents really give my setup a pleasing aestetic. Though in saying this, if I had just one critique it'd be for the "wood grain" finish on the MDF cabinets; it's not exactly my favorite look, but easily forgivable for the price (also, I imagine, not terribly difficult to modify if I really wanted to) I have added a meaty 120SW since my original purchase, and could not be happier - I will likely end up with some towers at some point too, just to complete the set. Honestly can't wait for the End-Of-Quarantine party.

These speakers sound so good with my ortofon 2m blue and tube preamp. I love how clear they sound.

It beats the monitor speaker, but it does not compare to some other Bo53 hardware with a subwoofer. BB has a lot of great other options.

I would rate these at 4 1/2 stars. Clear, clean sound. Amp can be made to turn on and off automatically when sound source is switched on and off. Worth the price if you want clear reference quality audio.

Great sound. Has wireless remote but now I have too many remotes. Sound can only be controlled with the remote that comes with the speakers. Also larger then I expected. About 12 inches high

I was very excited to try these out, but instead of the 5 inch driver R-51 pms, I was shipped the 4 inch R-41 pms incorrectly placed in the R-51 pm box. The smaller speakers were obviously not meant to fit the larger speaker packaging foam, and therefore were able to move around freely during shipping, damaging the corner of one of the R41 pm speakers. I also noticed the R-51 pm product label was stuck onto the back of the non powered left R-41 pm speaker. Regardless of whether this product was accidentally sent as a poorly managed open box item, or if somehow this issue was a manufacturing error, I doubt I will purchase this product from Best Buy in the future.

Crisp clear and very powerful for a self powered speaker. Definitely just what I needed

The Klipsch 51PM bookshelf speakers fill our whole room with great sound. I bought these after much research and talking to speaker gurus. You won't be disappointed.

The highs, mids and lows sound great. Great separation of instruments while listening to records.

These may not have a ton of features, no outputs, but the features it does have work great. I have this connected to a turntable and use the built in pre-amp. Clear highs and deep bass.

Plenty of punch, especially mid to highs. Learning how to use multiple devices and inputs takes a little tweaking...what I expected from Klipsch and happy with the purchase.

I was excited to try Klipsch but came in with defeatve RCA line input. i just returned. quality control is questionable

When they are working, they sound fantastic, especially with 10" sub attached. One morning, with no warning the input indicator shows a lavender color (not a valid source) and the speakers are non responsive. Klipsch tech support request is 20 DAYS in, and all we get is "we're very busy now, well get back to you". Not worth the money for one year of sound.

These speakers started out great and ended up sucking. They’re at a cabin where we maybe use them 10 days a month. After less than a year, the sound became so bass-heavy and distorted that we couldn’t use them at all. Nothing we had the ability to adjust made any difference. I contacted Klipsch. They sent me a new panel and told me to use it to replace the existing control panel with it. Supposedly that would fix the issue. It did help—we went from constant tinny, distorted music to intermittent tinny, distorted music. You never know from one day to the next what you’ll end up with for sound. I finally just gave up. Highly recommend Edifier R1700BT as a much better option. At least so far, they put our great sound for a lot less money. I’ve loved Klipsch since I was a teenager, and I’m really disappointed to see what a low quality product they’re putting out now.
