L.A Noire has to be one of my favorite games of all time. the story is great because you play as Cole Phelps, who comes home from WWII and becomes a patrol cop, then works his way to detective in 4 different kinds of desks: traffic, homicide, vice narcotics, then arson in the end. I first played this game when it came out back in 2011, and i'm still having a blast with it on my XBOX 360 and now on my XBOX ONE remastered version which looks nice in 4K. overall great remaster to an outstanding game.

I bought this game for Xbox 360 when it originally came out and really enjoyed but for whatever reason did not finish it and eventually traded it in. This remastered edition definitely seems to be an upgrade visually and performs well, but make no mistake, it does not equal a game designed specifically for Xbox One. I purchased on sale which probably makes it more worthy than paying standard price. I really like the adult story and the ability to search for clues and follow up on leads.

If you don’t mind a little slower pacing with more storyline and an innovative detective gameplay that utilizes one of the best facial motion captures that the industry has done, this game is for you. You really have to look at their face and determine if they are telling the truth or lying. It’s easier said than done. Sometimes it’s annoying because they look like they are obviously lying and they’re not and vice versa.

Game takes place in a post WWII L.A. as a veteran turned detective. Solid storytelling in a dark series of murder mysteries, definitely a game for an adult. This game uses a revolutionary character face desig. and you MUST pay attention to people's reaction to properly solve the case. Solid story with good twists and immersive game play.

This game is good, but it’s repetitive. I got bored playing after a few hours of the same thing. The interrogations are fun, but when you’ve played one mission, you’ve played them all. Worth buying on sale, but if you own the original, nothing to write home about here that merits a purchase for this game on a next gen.

This game is okay. Doesn't really belong on Xbox One though. The graphics look nothing like anything else released today. They are a small notch above Minecraft. The gameplay is nothing to brag about. Most of the shootouts are flimsy and uncoordinated. However, the game is still fun, and I would totally buy it if I were you!

I adored this game back on the 360 when the lie detecting mechanics were fairly revolutionary. While those mechanics have since fallen off Rockstar's plate (and thereby hasn't received some of the evolution it rightly deserves), LA Noir still holds up well. If you missed it last gen, it's worth jumping in now.

In a world where of Multiplayer is king, it's really good to revisit story! This remastered is pretty good the graphics appear to be on par with some of the better remasters I've seen but it does appear to be a little dated when it comes to the aliasing I imagine this would look really good on the One X if I could just get a 4K TV to try it out.

I played LA Noire back when it first came out. It's been years since I've touched it, and I have been hoping for a sequel but this will do for now. For people like me, it will still seem somewhat fresh as its been so long since the original. The improvements are great, and its nice not having to switch discs. A must buy for any LA Noire fan

If you already own this on XBOX 360 or PS3, there is no need to buy it again, unless you no longer have the old console. If you have never played this game, pick it up today. It is one of the best story-driven games of the past generation and is still fun to play today.

A solid game that recreate late 1940 Los Angeles, and follows a newly promoted detective as he solves crimes around the L.A. area. If you have seen movies like L.A. Confidential, then you will understand the setting and feel of this game. It plays similar to games like GTA and Mafia.

This is a unique open world game that isn’t for everyone, but if you enjoy police procedurals then this game may be for you. However, the remaster is fairly week. Environments look decent but persons and faces look like they received little attention. If you’ve already played this game, you probably aren’t missing much.

This game definitely reminds me of GTA & Red Dead Redemption, however it's a different time period. I like that you have options and have to use some logic and reasoning, in addition to the other typical gameplay you find in Rockstar's games. Would recommend at this sale price point.

While the gameplay may be reminiscent of Telltale Games now, the graphics and world of 1940's LA make this more than worth it. A fun game with interesting characters and riveting cases make this feel less like a game and more like a tv show throughout various seasons.

It could be fun at times to go around and solve crimes, but unless you like games like "where is waldo?" or you like to stare and examine things for a long time, this is your kind of game. If the player had the freedom to deviate (similar to GTA) this would be a great game.

This game flew under the radar back in 2011. Hopefully, it finds a wider audience with this release. If you’re looking for GTA or Red Dead, this isn’t the game for you. Very story driven, very rewarding for paying attention to details. Your interview skills and people reading will be put to the test.

A period piece of games, it brings you back to the 1920's. A time when murders were still shocking. Great up-rez'ed graphics, with that Rockstar pedigree. Another masterpiece. Just learn how to read lies on people's faces and you're golden.
