This drive works great on my MacBook and is definitely more rugged than other brands I have used in the past. The power draw was pushing my dock over the limit so I have to plug it straight into the laptop, but it is mostly for on the road anyway so not an issue.

I own several of these drives, which I find indispensable in my work as a photographer. As in the product description, they're rugged! This last one is being used as my Mac's Time Machine.

It is my first time ever having a hard drive and i found it works great for freeing up space on my iphone. I still have lots of space even after transferring years iphone albums (2018-2022) and youtube videos. l transfer from Iphone to my Windows Pro laptop where my LaCie hardrive gets connected to and I can store my photos & videos. To install I had to create a login & password. For the hard rice to work, it must be connected with the usb cable it comes with.

Absolutely love these hard drives. This is my second one I have purchased. I am a professional photographer and I store all my images on these. They are fast and I have never had any issues. I will continue to buy these as mine fill up.

Life saver right here I gotta tell you! I work with music production and I need space for days. So LaCie definitely is there for me. Easy to use not to much of a hassle . Great with PC. Definitely recommend .
