Very High quality & intentionally crafted little device. I upgraded to the Flex from a ledger Nano X & love the ease of use the touchscreen on the Flex provides. Doing almost anything on the Flex is a smoother and more seamless experience than any other wallet I've used up to this point. Price is a bit much but when comparing it to Ledger's flagship device the STAX you really cant go wrong.

I bought the ledger flex from Best buy because I heard ordering online can be dangerous since there are so many compromised devices. Best buy also offered a two-year insurance policy for around $40. I paid $299 with tax and insurance. The ledger flex is my first hardware wallet and it was so easy to set up. I transferred my cryptocurrency keys from a couple cryptocurrency exchanges to my own device. They say "Not your keys, not your crypto.". I feel so much better that I control the keys to my crypto, which lives on the blockchain. Thank you Best buy, for making the purchase so easy. I used chat GPT to help me set up my cold storage hardware wallet. The whole process took around 6 or 7 minutes. Make sure you always buy your cryptocurrency cold storage hardware wallets from Best buy! They are never compromised there. They say to order from the website, but that still has to travel through mail and can be intercepted and compromised. By buy buying my ledger flex from Best buy directly, it gave me supreme confidence that my device was official and not tampered with. The ledger reflects even validated the website LedgerLive, along with my new device! Such a great and powerful device to take control of your own finances! Once again, thank you so much Best buy! You guys are incredible and your team is unmatched and professionalism and technological knowledge! Everybody, go out and buy a hardware wallet from Best buy and put your keys to your cryptocurrency on the blockchain in your hands!

The Ledger Flex is a fantastic choice in wallets, offering unique set of features and services, while providing a secure and easy to understand wallet for any entrant into the space. Unboxing the Flex, I found it to be well made and felt good in the hand with finished edges unlike some wallets I own. Apart from slight flexing of the back plastic, the Flex has a premium feel with aluminum banding and a 2.84” matte Gorilla Glass E Ink display. In addition to the Flex, Ledger provides 3 recovery sheets and a USB C to USB C cable for charging or interface. After unboxing you will need to use Ledger Live to setup the Flex, the companion app available on desktop or mobile. Having setup other wallets both ways I appreciate Ledger supports desktop and mobile apps, however I chose the convenience of mobile for the Flex. Setup was a breeze thanks to Ledger’s well designed and feature rich app, which walks you through the pairing, secure device verification, pin setup, secret recovery phrase, and apps (wallets). During this time you will also have the option of Ledger Recover, their custodial recovery service, which is optional and can be added later. Once setup is complete, you can use Ledger Live to receive and send with your newly created (or restored) wallets. In addition to sending or receiving, Ledger Live offer the ability to buy, sell, swap and even stake from within the app through one of their partners. I found the fees a bit high but Ledger breaks down your choices and provides associated fees. Again, it is nice that Ledger offers the flexibility of features and services to those who want it while not compromising those who do not. Interacting with the Flex is also great, with the large display perfect for reading wallet addresses as well as providing meaningful information in what Ledger calls Clear Signing. Essentially, Ledger provides additional details regarding your interactions so that the user fully understands what they are doing, enhancing security for newcomers and veterans alike. Provided you have adequate lighting, the display is easy to read and can be customized with custom photo wallpaper or an NFT of your choice. The Flex also lets you control settings such as sounds, turn bluetooth/nfc off, and PIN shuffle to enhance physical security. Inside there is a CC EAL6+ certified secure chip which further ensures the integrity of the device. Battery life of the Flex is also good, rated at 10-hours of use or 150 transactions. Although I only made a few transactions, I did interact with the device more often than I normally would and I have averaged 5% consumption a week. Having used the Flex for over a couple weeks, I am confident in the device and like the thought that was put into the overall experience. I was skeptical having used other wallets over the years, but the Ledger Flex really is a great choice and offers a good value considering the features and services along with the practical security it provides.

Additionally, NFC support is a welcome addition, allowing for quick authentication without relying solely on a phone for 2FA. User Experience & Features Ledger’s desktop app simplifies the management of multiple devices, making it easy to track and move cryptocurrency. The UI remains intuitive, ensuring transactions are straightforward. Customization is a nice touch, allowing users to display personal photos or NFTs stored on the wallet as a background. Packaging & Presentation Ledger maintains its high-quality packaging standards. Everything needed to get started is neatly packed, with QR codes on the box and inserts guiding users directly to the right applications. This small detail improves accessibility and speeds up the onboarding process. Final Thoughts The Ledger Flex refines the crypto wallet experience by combining security, ease of use, and smart design choices. Unboxing - This small crypto wallet comes nicely packaged with the appropriate USB-C connection and charging cord. The box Includes tamper notification seals. Paperwork and a physical paper reminder to back up your security words for Recovery is included. What is this for ? - If you are new to the world of buying and holding crypto - This device allows you to establish wallet addresses and signing keys for a wide range of specific coins. Your signing keys are stored only on the device if you so choose. This allows you to “air gap” your keys from your computer, tablet, phone or other devices for an additional layer of security rather than storing ‘ Your crypto in an exchange or in a software wallet. Remember - a soft wallet on a regular PC is only one malware infection away from potentially being compromised ! Initial Setup - I chose to install the application on my PC and on my phone. I did the initial setup in a windows PC. The application walked Me though setup but initially failed to install any wallet applications on the device. I noticed a flag on device / updates that The out of the box firmware was way out of date. I updated to the current firmware - this took around three minutes and was Then able to install specific crypto apps. I added a few of my favorites and then initialized the accounts through the PC application. Daily use - I was able to receive, send and sign transactions with no issue. I was also able to link the device to the phone version of the app and sign additional transactions with the same information represented on both. Overall very easy to use and the software provides Help and prompts for what you need to do. Overall - Great little device to keep your signing keys safe ! - software has easy recovery modes to switch or restore to a new Device. Device itself is pin protected and will erase itself after three incorrect attempts. Smooth setup process that totaled under Ten minutes. What I love - Premium Feel and look - e-paper screen is a nice touch ! Security features and reminders for new users. Ecosystem and software easy to use Room for improvement- Prompt to update immediately in the setup app. The device could have more available memory for specific apps.

There are Desktop and Mobile versions of the Ledger live app. The wallet is 78.40 mm × 56.50 mm × 7.70 mm in perfect for pocket and weighs in at 57.5gm. The screen resolution is 480x600px.and 2.84 inches diagonally. The E-Ink screen is easy to read but you need light to see it as there is no onboard light. The setup is easy, download and install Ledger live it performs a check to confirm the wallet as a genuine Ledger. Next you then set up your 4 or 8 digit pin. Wallet setup is next: You can set the wallet up as a new wallet with a 24 word recovery phrase or recover a previous ledger wallet by entering your old wallet 12,18 or 24 word secret recovery phrase. Ledger includes a card to write down the words for safekeeping. You can also take advantage of Ledger recover by creating a digital ID, Ledger provides this recovery service for a fee. The wallet can be used as a 2FA security key with NFC for your phone, just download the ledger security app and select it, turn on NFC and tap the screen when it is needed for identity authentication. This is compatible with many sites. Another cool feature is you can display your favorite NFT or image on your Lock screen to personalize your device. Its multi blockchain support and long battery life make it an excellent choice for a secure crypto wallet. This is a great replacement for an old Nano or Nano X plus.

I’m trying to keep up with the digital world as I begin investing in cryptocurrencies, and I’m securing my digital keys on an offline hardware wallet! Enter the Ledger Flex – Ledger’s newest addition to their already comprehensive HW wallet lineup. I decided to move to a HW wallet after hearing countless stories of digital asset theft and loss - and it’s something any savvy crypto investor should be considering – seriously. For this review – I’m focusing on my user experience during my first transfer from an exchange to the Ledger Flex device. Plenty of other reviews already talk about the product, what’s in the box, initial setup, etc. It went smoothly for me as well – until I started my transfers. I’ll admit I’m new to the crypto world, and I was a bit nervous moving around $1000’s of dollars of assets hoping they just won’t disappear into the ether. To ease my nerves, I decided to follow the instruction EXACTLY. However, I soon found myself asking some questions as the instructions to transfer assets from Coinbase to my new Ledger Flex didn’t match exactly. Yup – made me nervous and also made this product lose a star on the review. My suggestion is that Ledger should be verifying these instructions from at least the 10 most popular exchanges on a weekly basis or maybe even more often. The last thing they want is for a customer to feel unsure when they are transferring assets that may have significant value. After watching several YouTube videos by Ledger on the subject – I fumbled my way through it with a small transfer of $100 – just to see if it works. And it did! With that success under my belt, I setup another currency account and verified my unique address and proceeded to do another transfer. SUCCESS. And I did that several more times with increasing amounts. I will continue to transfer more until I’ve moved as much as I can from the exchange to the Ledger Flex. I’m currently happy with the Flex and feel a bit more secure knowing I have control of my digitals keys vs relying on the exchange.

Slight learning curve setting up and using….overall satisfaction. For the price should have much larger storage for apps, and lacks brightness for screen . For the price kinda expected more

First off I want to say these ledgers are not for everyone. Please do your own research before investing because it is exactly that. This is not a hobby. And this is not a leather wallet that you put cash in and carry around in your back pocket. Duh right. Each ledger that is released comes are looking better and has better features. And I can say that ledger flex did not disappoint…… mostly. Pros: I really like the look. The style is sleek and clean. No extra stuff, exactly what want and what I’m looking for an installed. So it doesn’t confuse me or frustrate me. The learn more bar code is kind of helpful. Since I consider this to be one of the most secure ledgers I don’t feel the need to take any extra steps. Cons: memory size and my con will always be memory size so that I’d no surprise. Sometimes I struggle with Bluetooth connectivity but when that happens I just set it away and focus on something else and come back to it later. Over all good design and function. Within 10 minutes of opening the packaging, I had my crypto added to the ledger and with my own background image. Forgot that I had ot and a momth later, battery dropped by 7%. Peace of mind not having my crypto on an exchange and never needing to worry about it. Of you're looking for a cold wallet, this is the one to go with.

the unit is solid and made well. easy to use and understand instructions. there are videos online if you get stuck or confused. it is secure and keeps your Crypto in your possession not on an exchange.
