Great starter and budget laptop

This laptop is great for school and business needs. I myself am a graphic designer and the laptop's i5 core runs great for this purpose. I can also hold multiple tabs and applications open at once. The display is great, but my one complaint is the battery life being quite low but other than that I would highly recommend.

Perfect little basic computer

This is a great basic computer. I have not had any trouble with it. Fires up quickly. Keyboard and track pad are big enough for comfort when doing a lot of typing.

My dad loved it and he got it for Christmas. It was a very good gift. The laptop is responsive and fast good for the price. I would definitely recommend buying it again. It was a reasonable purchase.

Great value for the price and the purposes I needed it for. The integrated graphics and i5 processor work great for older games or newer ones on low graphics settings. Battery life is subpar however and the need to press function in order to use the Fx keys can be annoying.

Regarding the Fn key use, we apologize for the annoyance that this has caused you. We'd like to help improve your experience with this, and we believe that by enabling FnLock may help. To enable this, press the Fn + Esc (FnLock) keys simultaneously. Now all Fn keys will be active without the need for a key combination to be pressed.

Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

Not Intel Iris Xe graphics as advertised

Purchased 2 of these laptops and I can confirm these are loaded with intel integrated UHD graphics. This model of laptop is being advertised with Intel Iris Xe graphics and that is not the case. Please update the product page @bestbuy.
