I was looking for a computer for a specific use (not for my everyday general purpose jobs like bill paying, emails, spreadsheets, etc.), This Lenovo model is the perfect solution without paying a lot for it. It's fast and reliable and does everything I need it to do. It could be used for much more if I ever need it to do other things.

This laptop meets the purpose I bought it for. It’s very school‑friendly, easy to navigate, and great for everyday assignments and browsing. The processing speed is decent. For the price, it delivers solid value and has been an overall great buy.

This compact laptop is easy to transport yet ergonomically designed for easy use. Everything is properly proportioned and set up in the right place. I appreciate the speed and ease of use, which suits my everyday needs. The hardware feels like it is quality and will last for a long time.

Best Computer on a Budget

I was interested in getting a Leveno IdeaPad years ago. This is a good 8 gigabyte computer that is under $400. I like that the laptop can bring up my notifications that are coming up from my phone. I also like how thin and light weight it is store and carry around, which makes it great for college students.

This is my second Lenovo IdeaPad purchase. I find the size, keyboard, ease of installation for my files and photos to be automatically downloaded my favorite features. Lately, it has been running slowly which may not be an issue the ipad is responsible for.

Love this laptop!

My old laptop died. It was Lenovo and had lasted eight years with daily use. This Lenovo i purchased does not have a lot of memory but i don't need that. This computer is very user friendly. Very happy with the purchase.

This laptop has been great so far. No issue. Just wish they would automatically come with ad blockers has it is driving me nuts just click to open anything it pops up an ad I have no interests in.

Great for what it is

If you're looking for a light laptop that can do some minor multitasking, this is a good one. I can do some writing while watching videos and checking my groupchats, and that's all I really need. The battery life is solid. My only issue is that the screen lighting is a bit odd at certain angles, but I'm not looking for amazing picture quality. A good budget laptop.

Performs well with my class work. Easy to use. The feature i just wish it had was a touch screen. The finger mouse is a little jerky when using it. The screen is perfect size.

Excellent economic option for students and basic

I bought the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i (2025) in Arctic Gray, and it has exceeded my expectations for everyday use. The 15.6" Full HD screen is very sharp and ideal for working or watching videos. Thanks to its 8 GB of RAM and UFS storage, the system boots up quickly and feels smooth when browsing the internet and using office programs. Its design is slim, light, and looks elegant. The only drawback is that the 128 GB of storage might not be enough, so I recommend using cloud storage or an external hard drive. Overall, an excellent value option.

Unable to use my Outlook Email account. Things are different from my old computer, and take more "looking up on Web" to understand VERY FAST, WHICH I LOVE!! Home use only, at least for now.

Very Happy With This Laptop!

I am very pleased with my purchase after 30 days! I replaced a 14 year old Dell Inspirion laptop and use my laptop every day. This Lenovo laptop does everything I need and is a great replacement, plus the price was a third of what I paid for my Dell in 2012. Yes, there isn’t as much storage as the Dell, but I have a 5 Terabyte USB drive that works just fine for me. I would highly recommend this Lenovo laptop.

The IdeaPad Slim 3i allows you to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab from the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes," and select the best mode based on your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode, which will lower the temperature and reduce battery consumption of the IdeaPad Slim 3i. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.
