Good product for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good everyday laptop, light weight and fast. Only issue is it has a micro HDMI output only which makes it difficult for to general monitor connection or presentation purposes because you will need additional attachments or dongles.

great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as a main laptop replacement. I needed something fast enough but around 3lb so I can carry it around easily. This fit the bill. I got it with 20% discount, but I'm not sure if I'd pay the full price. I'm not well versed in electronics/computers, but I did do some research before the purchase. For the i7 processor, light weight, touchscreen, and ability to use as a tablet, this was a good deal since I was looking at PC only.

good light notebook and tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted notebook primarily with touch screen function so was stuck with windows 8 PC. Main drawback is learning win 8 . Mainly use the desktop but like touch screen use for many functions. Nice to fold back as tablet when reading . High resolution screen is nice , except I have to use the magnifier function for several programs which do not scale their text correctly and seem to map their text to a fixed number of pixels which makes for small print. SSD is great , near instant power on and off. could always use longer battery life.

Great Laptop (With One Annoying Issue)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.#1 Pro: Highly portable while still getting the job done! #1 Con: Micro HDMI port is inset too far. I have to shave off the plastic tips from all my cables to get them to work with this laptop. Annoying but a relatively simple fix.

Great performance, responsiveness, and mobility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop was for pharmacy school. Performance: Performance wise it was great, with enough ram packed to make it a very smooth machine. Display/Resolution: One of the known complaints is the resolution when the laptop goes into desktop mode, but it is not much of an issue for me. It can be an issue if you are not aware of it, so make sure you test it out before buying. Touchscreen/Form factor: Responsive and smooth. Love the ability to move it into tablet mode, and other modes. Great for PowerPoint reviews. Battery Life: I wish the battery life was closer to 8-9 hours, but so far I've only been able to squeeze about 4-5 hours. Hardware: This laptop is clean with design and lightweight. I can easily fit it into a messenger bag or back pack. On occasion, it can get a little warm, but not uncomfortably warm. Miscellaneous: I found it hard to find some sort of cover for this device; wish Lenovo made some more.

Great Ultrabook, super portable!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 is great for someone that looks for portability, use a daytime laptop as a tablet or play games and watch movies or tv shows when travelling. Its a great laptop, great perfomance (mine is I7, 8GB ram, 256 GB SSD and AC Wifi). The best thing is that i purchase Diablo 3 and it runs perfectly at 1080p. The main problem is the resolution, 3200 x 1800 its too much for windows 8.1, and so many programs are not ready to manage this resolution, you will see very small windows and letters. Pros: Faster processing Run games (not at high but it works o medium or low, for me its enough) Great Design ideal to watch Movies or TV Series in bed Cons: Sometimes the Wifi doesn't work very well, drops the connection Too much resolution 5 hours of battery average Yellows are some kind of mustard when not connected to the AC.

Light, versatile laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Yoga 2 Pro is a great laptop for all kinds of uses. It is very versatile, very light, but seems quite sturdy. The touch screen works well and the battery is more than decent. The sound is pretty good too. The only downside I have noticed so far is the screen resolution. It is so high that a few applications appear very small as they do not adapt to the increased resolution. It is fine most of the time though.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this laptop. It is fast, light, and it works well in all positions. The battery doesn't last as long as I thought, but I am still tinkering with the settings. Still not a big fan of Windows 8.1, but getting used to it as time goes by.

Good tablet/laptop hybrid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, the concept of this type of hybrid seemed a bit gimmicky, but after using it for a few weeks we've come to appreciate the design. Unfortunately it comes with Windows 8 but, then again, no device is perfect.

Fast after some tweaks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Yoga 2 Pro after a lot of research and several trips to the store. I was sold on the Core i7, SSD drive and light weight compared to others in the category. My only reservation going in was battery life. After a few hours updating drivers and changing some settings (Google is your friend- turn off Intel DPTF in the BIOS) to fix some lag issues in tablet mode, this thing is rolling. Boots from a full shut down to the login screen in 7-8 seconds. Word and Excel 2013 open in under 2 seconds. I'm not a PC gamer so I can't speak to the graphics performance. For my purposes (full screen video playback) it's been fine. I tested the battery from a full charge playing a video until it died- got just over 6 hours, which I'm happy with for a Core i7. The chassis feels well made for such a thin machine and the screen is really sharp. I have found my ideal uses for all four modes. If I had to have a complaint, the keyboard is a little tougher to type on due to the low key stroke depth (likely due to the thin chassis). Lenovo has loaded a ton of Lenovo programs and apps, and while a few are useful, the rest were easy to uninstall. All in all, the combination of performance and flexible use options makes this Yoga a winner for me.

Fantastic all-in-one, fast PC & touchscreen tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic computer/tablet. Resolution is incredible. Extremely lightweight and thin. Powerful i7-4500 processor, 8GB RAM and all-SSD (~225GB) hard drive = FAST! It literally boots Windows 8.1 in about 7 seconds. I am running all of the latest Office 2013 Professional products....sometimes 20+ at a time with no noticeable performance degradation. The extreme resolution (3200 x 1800) causes some (very few) program interfaces to be very small......fixable by changing the zoom or resolution. Flip the PC screen around all the way to the back of the keyboard to turn it into a tablet, or about 150 degrees around to set it up like a tent, or 'tablet with a stand.' It will recognize and change the functionality accordingly. Fantastic computer/tablet....which is truly capable of being 'both.'

Good labtop except for chrome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works well and light weight. The only problem I have is compatibility with Google Chrome. When Chrome installed, the computer gets slower, and show many errors. So, I deleted chrome, now it works fine again.

Laptop delivers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 delivers as advertised. It is light, flexible, and can easily switch between being a laptop and a tablet. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the touch screen interface with Windows can be a little frustrating at times, but admittedly it could be user error and I am not using it as ideally designed. Regardless, I would still recommend checking this model out to see if it is for you. It seems like a much better and more durable device than the Surface Pro 3.
