Exceeded my expectation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The others in our office use another brand of tablet/computer. I researched the Yoga and decided to go that direction. I'm very glad I did. My Yoga does everything I expected and more. I will be recommending the Yoga for future additions to our systems.

Best ultrabook ever. And a tablet too!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Yoga Pro 2. I had a Yoga 11s, and loved it. This one is significantly better in every way. It's faster and has a better screen. The only downsides, which are very very minor, are the screen a little too hi-res, and only having micro-HDMI. But like I said, they are minor, and a natural consequence of having an ultra-hi-res screen and ultra-portability. You won't be disappointed as long as you know what you're buying.

Great Laptop for College
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I have loved using this laptop for college. The only small annoyance is that the laptop does not have an ethernet port. However, with how fast this laptop is and it being a Solid State Laptop, you don't really need an Ethernet port. The battery life is a bit short, but that is because it is an ultrabook. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Very fast to start with solid state drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once I got the computer tweaked to remove some of the obnoxious problems I like it. I found it necessary to read many forums and other users hints to correct some of the software problems. The battery life is somewhat less than I expected. The biggest remaining problem is the scaling problem with the high resolution setting of the screen. I have been forced to reduce the resolution of the screen to be able to use the computer at all.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the laptop so far. Very lightweight and sleek with a beautiful display. The different modes of the yoga arent what impress me but they do come in handy. I am impressed with the overall performance of the machine. No complaints! Loving it!

Great computer for a student on the go!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this one because of the I7 processor, the versatility, and very light weight. My daughter also approved the sleek look and style. She's had it a few weeks now and loves it. Much more portable and efficient than the previous laptop.

Fast and light
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The choice was this or a MacBook Pro with a similar spec, this was cheaper and lighter - MacBook Air light. If you are ok with windows 8 and want a high spec laptop with a touch screen, this is a good choice.

Blazing fast performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this laptop for business. Needed something small and light. Excellent screen, battery life and functionality. Quite a bit of bloatware, but that's to be expected. Very happy.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, so far so good. At first the wifi was REALLY spotty. Somehow, after a few weeks it started working almost perfectly, so I'm knocking on wood that it'll continue this way. The only other problem that I've had is that the battery charger is really bad. I need to jam the cable into the actual battery pack a few times for it to get recognized. I'm guessing I'll have to contact lenovo soon to get that fixed because it's pretty horrific. Besides that, the computer is working very well and fast. I fired up by older i5 lenovo and it was painful how slow it went in comparison. Boot up is beautiful, everything is ready in seconds and the processor is so fast that it's keeping me quite happy besides the other misgivings. I guess consider this: the wifi was ridiculous for the first few weeks and I STILL kept the computer. I would google the wifi problems before purchasing though because they are real and it may or may not get better.

Great versatile laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm coming off of a laptop I bought in 2010, so in comparison, this laptop's weight and battery life (4-7 hours depending on demands - I tend to have many chrome tabs, itunes, multiple word documents, and video playing when I get 4 hours) are amazing. The screen makes some things smaller than I would like (for example, VLC media player's buttons), but I guess that's what hotkeys are for! Windows 8.1 also has OneDrive, which is a much more size-friendly media player that lets you swipe between videos (I love that) but doesn't play all the file types. I also saw someone complain about speaker volume when I was researching, and I have to say it's pretty unfounded - it gets as loud as you would ever want it to be, and it projects really well. I was concerned going in about the wifi card, but Best Buy updated them a month before I bought the computer to the dual band ones. I would say the best part of the yoga 2 pro with best buy is the value - for its price, you get i7 core, AC wireless card, 256 SSD, 13 inch touch screen, light portable weight of 3 pounds, nice thin appearance, and versatility with the 360 degree screen rotation (this function feels very stable, by the way, and is great for reading manga). It's a solid all around pick, in my opinion, and I am enjoying it :)

Good PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a Mac person but a few things I need a PC for. I put photoshop on it and bought a Wacom pro tablet. Works great together. Also my GPS unit works better on my tablet with GSAK for geocaching. My only issue is all the junk that come preloaded on laptops. If I want the program or the app I will DL it or buy it. I cleared out all the junk and put what I want on it. No superfish on the one I bought.

Great 2-in-1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this computer a couple of months ago and have used it on a fairly consistent basis for a mix of MS Office tasks and media consumption. My experience has been great so far. The computer is very fast and the screen is really fantastic. You have to get used to Windows 8, but once you do that, you're set. The computer is a bit unwieldy as a tablet and I use it primarily as a laptop. If you are looking for more of a tablet, you should probably look elsewhere. It just feels a bit too big and unwieldy to be a tablet. That has not bothered me in the least and I appreciate being able to run the full suite of programs built for Windows (though I haven't tried gaming on it and doubt it would be that great without an independent video card; again, that's not why I have this computer). Battery life has been really good even with the bright screen. That's not to say everything is perfect. An optical drive would be nice, though it is by no means necessary at this point. Still, with metered bandwidth, it would be nice if I could install a program or watch a movie without needing to download first (assuming I could even buy the program in DVD form). Also, some websites do not support the high screen resolution very well and you can expect to encounter some very, very tiny text. Youtube videos and the icons on the bottom of those videos seem to be the worst. So long as you know what to look for, however, you'll be fine. Overall, this is a great computer for a mix of work, web surfing, and media consumption. Would definitely recommend it if that is what you plan on doing.
