Learning my way around
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm starting to get used to this operating system, and once I do, I expect to enjoy the computer quite a lot. It's versatile, powerful and quick, and the touch screen is really pretty cool.

Nice Laptop/Tablet but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it is a nice laptop. Great speed, portability and versatility. BUT the screen resolution too good for it's own good. Some programs are not designed for the super high resolution and thus displays very small (unreadable). Really inconvenient. It's a nice Laptop/Tablet (although I haven't really used it as a tablet yet). But I would not buy again with that screen resolution. Maybe for others that would not be an issue for them, and might be beneficial depending and what they do and how they will use their Yoga 2 Pro.

Great laptop if you can deal with small size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved all the specs on this laptop but when I got it home to actually use it with my normal applications, I found that I did not have enough real estate on the screen. I was used to 15.5" screen. Also the keyboard and touch pad closeness was too extreme for me. The palms of my hands ended up resting on the desk to type,. Otherwise I thought it had great components and I liked the touch and feel of it. If you can deal with smaller screen, its a good buy

works well, a little difficult to use windows 8.1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Lenovo Yoga book 2 in1. It is super easy to travel with and I like the option of using it as a laptop or tablet. I would like it better if the keyboard had a protective cover when you use it in tablet mode.

Working Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the Yoga 2 is meeting all of my expectations and the ability to use as a tablet or as a laptop has been a huge plus when doing presentations. Only gave a 4 due to minor glitches when using a second screen which will sometimes lock it up. Love the SSD and the boot up speed.

Performs very well - up to expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A wonderful computer. Durable, Battery lasts 6-8 hours. Display is magnificent. Fast. Reliable. The only problem is that Microsoft requires password or facial recognition every time you turn it on - a nuisance. Also Word has been degraded by too much fancy junk - a lot less convenient and harder to use.

Great high powered light weight computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use a desk top screen with this and wanted a lightweight, fast computer to be able to take with me. It meets all of those expectations. The screen makes for pretty small type size that must be readjusted when used as a portable (its fine with the desk top). I think once I fully understand Windows 8.1 and the ability to adjust the display the type size will be less of a problem. I don't use the cloud, but am considering it for non-sensitive information since the hard drive is not really adequate to store all of my information. For now I also have a back up hard drive for my pictures and other high volume items. Even with the limits, it really fully meets my expectations.

Better than any similar IOS product at less price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a small and powerful small size laptop with top quality specs. this machine provides all of that. It has plenty of power, and the display quality rivals any similar computer on the market (apple included). If you compare the actual hardware specifications, you will see that it is almost identical to Apple products costing significantly more. If you want an exceptional small laptop with extreme power, this is your best choice.

Thin, Light, Fast, Convenient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro! This ultrabook is super thin and lightweight that it's easy to move around. The touch screen is nice and I love the fact that you can rotate it all the way around into tablet mode. The screen resolution is ridiculously high and everything looks clear and sharp on it!

Best convertible - highly recommended.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall usability as a laptop or tablet. The tent mode is good for shared movie viewing. The Yoga 2 has great response to the touch screen. The comparison machine was the Sony Flip 14". That had serious touch screen issues. The 15" model I tried did not have those issues, and there are patches to fix the 14". However, 14" was the largest screen I wanted. The unit shipped with Windows 8 and as soon as I got it registered and online it updated itself to 8.1. The keyboard is very usable - I'm a touch typist and got used to it quickly. The keys also optionally back light. The function keys are multi-purpose and there is no numeric key pad. No great loss as for me this is not a business machine. The screen is bright and clear with great resolution, the sound is great. I did not have any dead pixels. The wireless was easy to set up and made a good connection to my too far away router. Good enough that Amazon Prime movies don't buffer. Running solitaire in tablet mode did get a bit warm on my lap, but not that bad. The computing power is great! This unit has the i7 with 8GB ram and the 250GB solid state drive. It boots up in about 5 seconds. I used it to do TurboTax and the response was great. For the price, this unit was cheaper than the I7 on the Lenovo site and has better features.

Not that great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an idea of what I wanted, but spec sheet said this matched up to what I had initially came in for. Came home, couldn't believe how bad the scaling was. Then I trued to plug into an external monitor and the micro hdmi cable doesn't work. Simple search online showed me that this was a common problem with these machines and was a build error so nothing I could do beyond cut my micro hdmi cable. Even after that, it wouldn't work well. Font remained super small unless I changed the resolution to less then ideal which meant I could use the machine and not to its full screen benefit, or i could use the best screen options but then not be able to read anything. Returned, bought what I wanted from a different store, and have been nothing but happy.
