Best convertible - highly recommended.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall usability as a laptop or tablet. The tent mode is good for shared movie viewing. The Yoga 2 has great response to the touch screen. The comparison machine was the Sony Flip 14". That had serious touch screen issues. The 15" model I tried did not have those issues, and there are patches to fix the 14". However, 14" was the largest screen I wanted. The unit shipped with Windows 8 and as soon as I got it registered and online it updated itself to 8.1. The keyboard is very usable - I'm a touch typist and got used to it quickly. The keys also optionally back light. The function keys are multi-purpose and there is no numeric key pad. No great loss as for me this is not a business machine. The screen is bright and clear with great resolution, the sound is great. I did not have any dead pixels. The wireless was easy to set up and made a good connection to my too far away router. Good enough that Amazon Prime movies don't buffer. Running solitaire in tablet mode did get a bit warm on my lap, but not that bad. The computing power is great! This unit has the i7 with 8GB ram and the 250GB solid state drive. It boots up in about 5 seconds. I used it to do TurboTax and the response was great. For the price, this unit was cheaper than the I7 on the Lenovo site and has better features.

Great Notebook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast ultra-book/tablet! With the Solid State drive it boots up in seconds not minutes. I like the way it folds over & use it as a tablet. Only downside is finding microHDMI adapters to HDMI & SVGA. All the adapters are miniHDMI (since apple & Microsoft use that version).

awesome ultrabook!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great ultrabook. I love that it flips all the way around so you may use it as a tablet, but to be honest I don't use it in that position very often. The one thing that gets to me some what is the screen kind of bleeds a bit around the edges with darker colors.

2in1 starter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.screen seems to flicker often, battery life could be a lot better. MS Windows 8 does a horrible job of touch sensing, on screen kb does not appear/disappear when expected, screen content cannot be zoomed easily...

A nice, thin pad.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer looks and feels so good. The carbon fiber material feels premium, and the notebook is really light. The screen is also a premium. It is really thin, and looks elegant when folded. A nice, thin pad.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great all-in-one laptop. I love that it's lightweight, SUPER fast, and affordable. It's not cheap, but worth every penny. It's top of the line at a good price. The battery life could be longer, but it's fine. I mainly use it for grad school projects and it's great to travel with.

Great fast processing PC that can be a tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer is great, very portable, extremely fast processing. I love that you can choose just by clicking the battery icon which performance mode you want it in, either favoring performance or favoring battery. Some things to note however: Battery life is not as advertised, it burns away much faster especially if you use chrome. 4 Hours of heavy use or 5.5 if you use it conservatively. Also I wish they had put more USB ports instead of including 2 useless other side ports.

Good Ultrabook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer comes with a whole bunch of malware installed. Once you remove all of it, the computer is much faster. The solid state drive makes for fast on. The processor works fairly fast even with photoshop. Overall a good ultrabook, once you get past the malware.

conveinent, forward-thinking notebook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop to use daily in my graduate program, so it had to be light yet hold up for being a day-to-day work horse and after a month of use it has not dissapointed. It has a great sturdy build and I love the texturized rubber on the keyboard, I'm not a big fan of the aluminum type that Apple has made so popular. I initially thought of the swinging hinge to fold up like a tablet as a gimmicky thing and I bought it for the ultrabook type construction, component quality, price and keyboard but I have surprised myself by how often I do use it in tablet mode, tent mode etc. It's great for reading pdfs, editing, note taking or watching video. It is a wonderful, powerful machine and I have been very pleased with my purchase. As a side note, I have noticed on a few occasions the color yellow a bit wonky like some have said. I have not downloaded the bios update I that I hear can fix it simply because it doesn't bother me enough and school keeps me too busy to worry about it

Great little powerful unit.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems to connect well to the 2 different networks it has been used on. It has been a little flakey on maintaining a connection, but this could also be Linksys wireless router issues or ISP service provider problems haven't been able to determine for sure.

Nice & Lightweight making it is easily portable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was going to buy a tablet but found that this was really what I needed for what I was planning on using it for. I like the thin design but wish it had it's own CD/DVD drive. Has a nice long battery life so I don't have to recharge it all the time. So far so good.

Great laptop, not a huge fan of windows 8
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for my wife for Christmas. We like the speed, screen is amazing and the laptop feels solid. Overall it's a great value compared to Apple products. We own Apple products and windows 8 is not nearly as user friendly as what we are used to.

Great computer, but with one frustrating flaw
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great computer overall and is an amazing value compared to its competitors. My favorite thing is the lightning start up. I can go from completely off to opening a program in 10 seconds. The Yoga feature is awesome- though I find myself often reverting back to the regular computer mode. I do like folding the screen back and leaving the base on my lap while reading. It's a bit too big to use as a tablet and tablet mode is somewhat incompatible with Google Chrome. Works fine with Internet Explorer though. The touchpad can be difficult at times. It's hard to right click in the dark and certain quick movements on the touch pad cause windows to swipe. The only real complaint I have is with the display. As others have noted, yellow does not display properly. Additionally, the resolution is so high that everything on the screen is very small and some programs do not look right. I don't know if it can be fixed by changing the settings- I've tried and it creates an unnatural look. Overall... it's a great computer and I would buy it again.
