This was a great purchase! It was well worth the money, thanks to its fair battery life and excellent overall performance. Mind you, it isn't meant to compete with the likes of a full-blown gaming rig. With that said, however, this Lenovo is a solid choice for moderate, on-the-go productivity.

I love my lenovo! I looked around for weeks researching the best windows computers with a light design, long (ish) battery life, and have an i7 Intel chip. My Lenovo yoga II Pro has it all! I have not encountered any issues with it so far. I use it for taking notes, surfing the interwebs, and running mapping software. I love the touch screen feature! I am no computer aficionado, but a lowly college student, so take my review with a grain of salt.

Is it a super tablet or a mini laptop?....It is everything!! top line i7 gives you all the computing power you need without the hefty weight. If a 13" screen is enough for you then you can't go wrong. Runs perfect. Zero problems.

Very fast performance, extremely thin and light, a pleasure to carry around versus a traditional laptop. It's a great travel laptop, good for movie viewing on planes or reading in tablet mode (obviously heavier than an iPad given the keyboard). Very sleek and enjoyable. Only minus is for productivity tasks. As a long time Thinkpad user I find it hard to do precision clicking using the Yoga's track pad. The "mouse click" buttons are integrated at the bottom of the trackpad and not very distinct from the rest of the trackpad surface. By comparison the think pad had fixed mouse buttons plus an 'eraser' track ball. Find myself using a bluetooth mouse when its intensive work. One other fun aspect - facial recognition log-ins! Just look at the webcam and it scans your face and logs you in - no need to type passwords!

This laptop completely blew me away. The processor is good, the touch screen is responsive and very sturdy in all positions. It's a really thin laptop, too, and very portable. The SSD and ample RAM make loading up programs very quick. The battery life is also pretty good unless you play games for a while. All in all, you can't go wrong with this laptop. My only problem with it is it doesn't like it when I try to press keys and use the trackpad at the same time, but that it easily overlooked considering everything else.

This is a great computer tablet combo. Easy to use! The only downside is once in awhile it has difficulty with the face recognition. Apps are easy to find and to use.

A Flawed Top-Of-The Line Consumer Laptop

I with I could recommend this whole-heartedly. It is a petty some engineers went home early and didn't perfect it. 1. Google "Yoga 2 Pro Color Yellow" for the details. In a nutshell, some yellows have a green cast to them. Despite Lenovo's hedged claims, it is not fixed by firmware. It got better but did not go away. I doubt they will do any more for this laptop and they probably can't. It is an inherent tradeoff characteristic of the Samsung "QuadHD" PenTile RGBW panel that they use. You can't calibrate it out, either. I tried. 2. Speaking of QuadHD, this 3200x1800 panel is a marketing gimmick. At 13.3 inches of screen size, you can't distinguish it from HD 1920x1020. But you have to suffer the small visual output of some programs that don't scale properly, and you have to put up with the green-yellow tradeoff. I adjusted my resolution down to HD. 3. The trackpad touch-to-click is too sensitive and impossible to adjust. I turned it off. The real clicks take a lot of pressure, and if you enable right click on the right side (who wouldn't) then it is easy to miss a click because the click region concentrates around the lower corners. 4. Intel WIDI (wireless display) in not ready for prime time, at least on this model. I had to reset (i.e., force a reinstall of Windows 8.1) even to see the option to add a wireless display under Charms: Device/Project/. Then the connection to my WIDI device (WD media player with Miracast firmware plugged into HDTV) was still hard to make. Once made, you have to keep the laptop and device next to each other so as not to lose the connection. The video cast to the HDTV as a second display loses a lot of quality. Google "Yoga 2 Pro Widi Miracast" and you will see that I am not the only one noticing these problems. 5. The SD Card slot is not SDXC because it sits on the USB 2.0 bus instead of on the 3.0 bus. Hard to understand why they did this, but you are thus limited to SD speeds. I could use a 128GB SDXC UHS-I Class 10 card, but at the lower speed. I am thinking of returning it. I have the Elite Plus membership that gives me 45 days to decide.

Got this to replace another ultrabook that bit the dust. Love the touch screen/pad functions at times. The laptop and keyboard have a solid, quality feel to them compared to my previous ultra- lightweight one. The new Windows supporting this is a major pain to get adjusted to though, and sometimes touching anything in the wrong spot takes you places you don't intend to go.

The hardware is great, but a lot of the apps have not caught up to the graphics capabilities and some crash intermittently. Hoping the issues work themselves out.

This works great as business professional who travel a lot and has remote office. I connect to the office thru VPN and do not need to join the network. So, this version works perfect for me for my work. The boot up speed is very fast and weight is light. Good for travel. Got a USB 3 station and connect my old monitors and USB 2 keyboard, mouse and external hard drive. Works great. Everything works a lot fast now for work. For personal use, now, it become tablet for me for non-business use. Love it.

I bought this to replace a surface Pro two which I really didn't like. This provides an adequate screen and is extremely lightweight. The tablet function works just as well as the surface dad and the full PC aspect of it makes it much more useful. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend the product.

Well ... The display is the highlight of this laptop and it is a great display. Also very light and thin. Speed is very good so why only 3 stars? The battery life isn't great ... Only get 3-4 hours as opposed to 7-8 with my MacBook. Next ... The wifi will drop connections often and need to be reconnected. Lastly... If I forget and close the laptop before unplugging it ... Goes into thermal meltdown and kills the battery in a few hours. If I unplug power and let it set for 30 sec before closing the lid then it will sleep properly. Great idea just not great execution from Lenovo on what should be an awesome machine

I was looking for a lightweight computer (laptop or tablet) that could give me a lot of power and run the complete Office configuration. Most tablets only had one USB port with limited memory. The Yoga has 2 USBs and an HDMI connection. It very lightweight (about 3 pounds). It comes with an Intel i7 processor and has traditional Windows desktop modes or tablet modes. Overall, the product has not disappointed at all.

I love the 2-in-1 concept but this one wasn't quite what I expected. It's a little too big to use as a tablet - awkward and heavy. A detachable tablet works better. And no pen. Waiting for Wondows 10 and hoping it's an improvement.

Gets very hot and battery doesn't last over 5 hours, even though it is advertised to last at least 7 hours. The system is also very glitchy and the track pad is very sensitive. When I try to move the cursor, it switches my screen to a different page. There seems to be little difference between trying to switch to that page and simply trying to move the cursor. Very frustrating.
