lenovo yoga 2 pro not a great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.yoga 2 pro laptop is not a great laptop. Slim and 360 design is great but heating issue in the bottom ventilator, the rendering in ie/chrome is too small. Sometimes I felt wifi network drop also. No active digitalize stylus support.

Regretting my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Lenovo Yoga2 is very lightweight and the benefit of being able to set it up in kiosk, tablet, and tent modes as well as using it as a regular laptop has proved helpful, there has been a number of issues I've had that have ranged from an inconvenience that is not specifically pertaining to the product to being miserable with aspects that have made me absolutely regret my decision of buying this laptop over purchasing a laptop and separate tablet. I've had to adjust the display brightness to stay steady and be bright enough that I can actually see the screen. Highlighting text to select has been an issue, and the edges of the pad are so sensitive that you can accidentally swipe to a different screen very easily, so that takes getting used to. In tablet mode especially, but any time I use the touch screen to scroll down a page, it has to catch up - especially on graphics heavy sites, which can be quite annoying staring at blank space while you wait for the screen to catch up (a problem that only seems to occur when using touch screen and not arrows to scroll on the same page). Many times I find that the computer freezes up and won't type anything, forcing me to reload the page. Some browsers also have this problem upon maximizing, leaving a blank browser window that requires restarting the window. The most annoying problem is some programs being extremely tiny and nearly unreadable with no way to zoom in to normal size. I'm not sure what this issue is, but have seen a few others with this issue and have no way of fixing it. I expected a faster, easier to use machine when I upgraded from my laptop that was dying on me - something that I could create on and be a versatile tool for my various projects, and it's actually been more of a headache. Other than this, if you're familiar with Windows 8 it may not be that big of a transition. Battery life seems excellent thus far. The ultrabook is light and easily portable, with energy saving options. Sound seems to be great - only a few instances of abrupt changing in volume for unknown reasons. I'm hoping that over time I'll find ways to fix the problems I'm having and have a better time working with this laptop, but as of right now I wish I would have gone another way.

Great Computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great computer. I was not happy to find out that SuperFish was installed on it. Computer for husband
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been shopping for my husband a computer for the last six months and after looking testing and reading reviews decided to go with the Lenovo yoga 2 pro and he loves it. The only issue is there has been and issue with adware that's was on the machine. Its not a cheap machine but you get what you pay for. I only wish it had security like Apple so my husband could enjoy without all the hassle of adware. The price runs the same as apple MacBook pro which you never have issues with adware. I'm an Apple person whereas my hubby isn't, I don't believe in having to pay for extra security every year. Which you must do if you don't own a APPLE.

Like the Yoga
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the machine more than I like Windows 8. Facebook doesn't run correctly using the app that Windows recommends/provides and I had to take it to Geek Squad to get it reinstalled so it would work correctly. That's not Lenovo's fault. I do find that the keyboard and touch screen are a little too sensitive and they do things I don't want them to - like switch programs in the middle of doing something and having to start all over.

Great and versatile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it, it switches flawlessly between tablet and regular mode. Has enough oomph that it allows me to do maintenance on swtor and world of Warcraft. Can't raid on it and I use an alternate keyboard so it doesn't take a beating, but I still have no complaints. I will definitely recommend this to friends

Very lightweight and mobile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for both personal and work use while traveling - much easier to carry due to weight and size. Streaming and reading is great, but it is much slower than my work laptop.

Very Happy with my Yoga Pro 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for my desktop and old desktop. This laptop has outdone itself in the I can use it for everything. The screen resolution is higher than the standard 1080p, so development of regular 1080p projects is easy. The processor is fast and I can run VM's without slowing down the host OS. It connects beautifully to my home network and the mini HDMI port allows for connections to flat screen TVS for large displays. The tablet mode is great for sitting in small places and reading or working, and the unit is very light. Battery power is great, nearing 6+ hours.

It is ok computer not great. It is a little expens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.computer is ok not great. It is a little bit heavy. Touch pad frozen sometimes. It annoying when it freeze up. Touch screen not working properly sometimes. This another annoying thing about the Lenovo. When first got the computer it failed to turn on. It keep saying boot manager failed. Thank God that I bought insurance if not they probably would not fix this issue at all and I may have to send it back to Lenovo to fix it. Not as fast as I thought. It is a little expensive because of all the hassles so far.
